  we apologize for your inconvenience but unfortunately, as we are a FAMILY OWNED business sometimes, we have emergency's. We did call you back as soon as we found out our estimator had to reschedule, and we offered to come another day at your convivence. good luck in your endeavor.

  Disappointing Experience with Skyward Roofing I met with Jesse (son of the owners) on February 12th. He spent time reviewing my situation, went through my open insurance claim, looked over the insurance scope of work, took photos, and assured me it would be no problem to help me. That ended up being completely untrue. By February 20th, after hearing nothing, I called and left a message requesting a callback. Another full week passed — still nothing. Today, I called again and finally reached the owner, who told me the estimate had supposedly been emailed earlier. She said she would send it “right away” and that Jesse would call me. Instead, after multiple calls from me over a couple of weeks with zero follow-through on their end, I received an email saying they cannot provide me with a quote. After all that time, all those calls, and all the assurances they gave in person — to simply back out without even a courtesy call is unacceptable. This is a poor way to conduct business and an even worse way to treat potential customers. I cannot recommend them based on this experience.

  Thank you for your initial interest in working with us. Jesse did meet with you for your insurance claim, and then we had two severe storms and took our only break from work for several weeks. Outdoor projects cannot be done during severe winter weather so our office staff took time off. We apologized to you that we cannot bid on your project due to the scope of the job at this time. We did not back out of anything, as we did not quote your project. We did send an email stating this information to you, which went to the incorrect email address. Good luck in your project endeavor.

  Terrible experience. Unprofessional. Left the garbage in the yard and it blew all over the neighborhood. When I called to complain they said they ran out of room in the truck and they would come back but it stayed there overnight. They also had to return to do the job originally hired for. Felt like I was chasing these people down from day one. 7 months later, the roof is leaking in the same spot and a new professional indicates it was never sealed properly and water is getting under the shingles when the wind blows them up. Waste of money and now there’s additional damage. You get what you pay for.

  Roof over door did not have proper flashing and caused a slow leek that took years to find. Leak came into the inside wall creating a hole, not once, but three times until the last contractor pulled the roof apart and redid it. Skyway would not repair the roof after numerous calls. Very unprofessional office staff.

  We always strive to respond to every homeowner issue or inquiry. We responded to Mrs. Vanacore's every call, & went by to see the problem. We determined the issue was the way the alcove was built and water was getting behind a wall from the area where the siding met the roofline and was not the roof itself. Mrs. Vanacore would not accept our expertise in this matter and we explained she needed a carpenter to resolve the issue. It has been several years since we had any contact with this homeowner, and we went above & beyond to explain why the water was getting in. There was nothing wrong with the roof, and we inspected it everytime she called. Water was running behind a wall. There was flashing installed and we have photos which we showed her. We were always very courteous and kind and responded to her calls and returned to her house the three times she called us. It is unfortunate she has posted a complaint about us, when we were responsive and knowledgeable about the problem, and if it was a roof issue we would have repaired it immediately.

  At Skyway we take pride in the fact that we employ people from all diverse and multiculteral backgrounds. We are known for our respect and professionalism toward each and every customer. In this particular instance, the customer always told our owner he was very polite and attended to all their desires along the way until the final cost of wood was discussed. While doing the job, there was found to be lots of rotted fascia under the eaves which we had to change in order to wrap. The homeowner was informed of this cost per foot, and was not happy about the price after the job was done. Cost of wood is astronomical right now. We cleaned up the job site daily with our magnet, and always return if a customer calls us if they find more nails but this customer did not. The customer actually held back $400 off the final bill without discussing it with us at time of payment. Every issue the customer presented to us was addressed and corrected. The job came out beautiful. The customer also mentioned the job took longer than expected. Materials are hard to get right now, and when materials were delivered we started three days after start date. Also, siding jobs cannot be rushed because we do them with precision, and two weeks is not a long time to perform a siding job. We do not rush jobs. And when customer mentioned we paused job to start another, this is VERY untrue. We do not job hop. We informed the homeowner our Lead man had a baby, and he was out for three days, and when we sent the rest of the crew, she sent them home. We were always available to discuss the job with the homeowner by phone and visited job site daily, and were always respectful and polite. We tried our very best to make this homeowner happy, which could never happen, and we stand behind our work and have completed this job with integrity and the utmost professionalism.

  Called and made a appointment with the owners wife for the son to look at my leaking roof. We talked for several mins about how hard it was to get people to actually to show up and do the work. She promised me that they where not like that and would be there when she said. Guess what no call no show. I don’t recommend using this company

  We had a leak in our roof in March and didn't know where to turn. They came out asap and and tarped it for us and gave us a very fair estimate. They were very patient with us throughout the entire process. Our new roof looks great and the crew was kind, fast and respectful. It is very refreshing to have a company be so kind to us OLDER FOLKS. We picked them for two important reasons, a FAMILY run business , and a impeccable 35 year reputation.   From start to finish Skyway was terrific. The initial assessment process was very thorough. Unlike other companies, their crew handled roofing and gutters - they didn't outsource. They responded to all my questions; communication was easy and timely throughout the process. Elvin and his crew went above and beyond with both the installation and the clean-up afterwards. I would highly recommend Skyway!

  I expected having my roof replaced would be a stressful and crazy expensive project. I called Skyway Roofing and it was neither! The guys all arrived right on time, set to work quickly and did an amazing job with no mess left at all. I can not recommend Skyway enough...a pleasure to work with.

  Highly recommended Skyway Roofing for roof replacement. From initial visit/quote through project completion the team at Skyway was thorough, responsive and performed quality work. Our roof project included stripping 2 previous layers of roof shingle and replacement with new asphalt shingles. Project was completed in 1 day, despite being one of the hottest days of the year!

  Everyone at the company is very pleasant and helpful. Family owned business and it’s apparent they value their customers. Our roof replacement was due to a fallen tree. We also had gutters and shingles replaced due to the damage. I recommend them for an insurance claim. They had the job done in one day, tear off and replacement.

  This is the second time I’ve used Skyway Roofing, for two different houses that I own. The owners of this company are professional, and worked with me to arrange and complete each project perfectly. Additionally, the work ethic displayed by the men and women (yes, women), installing the new roofs on each site was exceptional. They all worked hard and together like a well-oiled machine - a quality sometimes difficult to find today. The work crew leaders were courteous and attentive to detail. Finally, one of the company owners was on site overseeing the job and talking to me, ensuring that all was done properly. I highly recommend Skyway Roofing. And, each roof was completed in one day!
