Sky Bright owner and his team went over and beyond to help me with repairs to my previously installed metal roof. Where the prior Canadian company had no interest in fixing issues with their installation, Skybright owner and his team were ready to step in and make things right for my roof. Skybright did the repairs at a reasonable price. He inspected the issues I had, the material put on my roof, and sourced the aluminum and roof penetratioms on his own as the prior installers dont sell their product to roofers who arent contracted with them. He reported findings to me and worked me in between way bigger projects. Cant thank Sky Bright/Gerry enough.

Super kind dude. I called to get some opinions on metal roofing from some other companies I was considering. He spent a significant amount of time on the phone with me discussing the pros & cons of each, knowing he didn't have anything to gain. While I didn't hire for my current project, I'd love to work with Gerry in the future.

Gerry just finished installing a new metal roof on our floating home. His bid was far cheaper than any other AND included a heavier gauge metal! The job was completed quickly, his tradesmen were respectful, and the work was performed competently with a minimum of mess and hassle. I don't know why anyone would choose another vendor!

I got quotes from multiple companies. Skybright not only gave me a great price, but also added many extras, including 1/4 foil backer ( which none of the other companies offered), as well as putting in screws every 12 inches. Due to my …

Sky Bright did an excellent job with the installation of the metal roof for my shed project. They worked extra hard to beat the rain looming in the forecast and when done, the jobsite was cleaned up well. I recommend using them for big or small jobs.

Gerry was one of the more dedicated contractors I've ever worked with. He cared about doing the job right no matter what--even in frigid, rainy, winter conditions, and three stories up. As an architect, I appreciated his attention to detail and his willingness to listen, brainstorm, and problem solve on the fly. There's clearly a true pride in what he does and he's got decades of experience to back it up. Moreover, he's a great guy. Real pleasure working with him and his crew. The finished product looks fantastic!

n July, we contacted Gerry for an estimate on a house and garage re-roofing job. He gave us a time and date for the inspection and he was prompt and prepared when he arrived at our residence. He climbed on the roof and inspected the existing tar based shingles and honestly admitted we still had a couple of years left on the current roofs lifespan. He used satellite imagery to give us a quote for removal of the 2 layers of shingles and the installation of the standing seam metal roof in our choice of color from a decently comprehensive selection pallete. Despite his busy schedule, Gerry was ably to schedule us in a reasonably short timeframe, to begin later in the month. Gerry and his crew arrived on time and prepared to strip and haul away the old roofing material which, it turned out was actually 2 layer of shingles. Despite the extra layer, his crew worked hard and cleared/ disposed of the old stuff away nicely. Next, they used a high quality rollout waterproofing membrane to completely seal the bare wood from the elements, then roll-out bubble foil to insulate the transfer of heat from metal to the interior. He also cut in "ridge vents" on the apex of the garage and house to allow the removal of heated air in the attics of the structures resulting in a very noticeable cooling effect inside the house afterwards. The color of the rolls of steel were a perfect match of the pallete we had chosen from and Gerry was a pro with his steel shaping/cutting machine, rolling out perfectly sized sections as needed to cover our garage and residence. He and his crew worked strenuously, only pausing for rain that caused extremely hazardous slipping conditions on our steeply angled roof. Gerry was very friendly and clearly communicated all the steps as they were continuing the project. His crew was great about cleaning the worksite every day prior to departure making sure there were no sharp bit of debris for our pets to step on after the work day was over. When it was time t

Thank you! This was definitely a cooky cutter project with an arched front porch. The flat roof platform with 2. 2x3 skylights, venting Ridgeline. The new k6 colonial red gutters, make the roof complete. I love all the angle metal hips. What a challenge! I wanted to post the before and after photos giving the ominous transformation.

I have a 60+ year aluminum roof that required some tightening of the metal strips along the roof's edges. The owner, Jerry responded quickly to my call and with Reuben, one of his employees got the job expertly at a fair price. Highly recommend SkyBright!
