  A major windstorm blew off several shingles and caused serious roof damage. Once the power was back on, we focused on getting our insurance claim handled so the whole roofing system could be replaced. At first, the adjuster tried to approve only part of the roof, but Derek came out and did a much more complete roof inspection. He documented the damage clearly, explained everything in simple terms, and showed why a full roof replacement was the right solution instead of just patching a few sections. Derek worked hard with the insurance company and stayed on top of the process from start to finish. He took time to answer questions, explain the claim details, and make sure nothing was missed. Even with a busy schedule, he gave our project the attention it needed and helped move everything in the right direction. The new roof looks great, the shingle work is clean, and everything was handled professionally.   We chose to install a metal roof for our home in Atlanta, and the whole roofing process turned out very well. After we reached out, derek called us back the same day and helped explain the roofing options, timeline, and what to expect. The project took a little longer than we first thought, mainly because of changing weather and a busy schedule, but the communication stayed solid throughout. The roofing crew worked hard and did a good job on the installation, even during hot and challenging Georgia weather. We had a few questions along the way, and when we contacted marvin, he came out quickly with Roger to go over everything with us. They answered our concerns, inspected the finished metal roof carefully, and made a few touch-ups right away to make sure the workmanship met their standards. We really appreciated how responsive, professional, and thorough the team was from start to finish.   After storm damage, our insurance had a tarp put on the roof, and later another storm tore part of it loose. When the insurance company would not cover redoing it without extra cost, we started looking for another roofing option. Fortunately, Derek from Simmons & Sons Roofing Llc was working on a nearby home in Atlanta, so my husband asked if he could take a look and give us an estimate for the roof tarp repair. He came over, inspected the damaged section, and explained that the issue was not too serious. He then went ahead and secured the torn area and nailed it back down at no charge. That kind of honesty and helpful roofing service really stood out. We had already signed with another contractor for the shingle replacement, but based on this experience, we would have felt confident getting a fair quote and solid roof work from him.

  We had the opportunity to work with a roofing team on a 70,000 square foot membrane roof replacement in Atlanta. The original roofer had installed what was supposed to be a watertight roofing system, but leaks started showing up soon after the building became operational. After several unsuccessful repair attempts by the first installer, we chose to bring in a new roofing contractor so the client could have a fully working facility. Roger and the team responded fast, completed a thorough on-site roof inspection, and found that the full roof system had been compromised. They explained the issues clearly and provided a very fair price for the scope of work, including tear-off of the existing roof and installation of a new membrane roofing system. This was a challenging commercial roofing project because the plant stayed in operation the entire time. Each morning, a section of the roof would be opened, and the new roof had to be dried in and completed by the end of the day to keep the facility protected from Atlanta weather and daily operations running smoothly. Derek, Marvin, and the crew handled the job with great skill, strong communication, and dependable workmanship. Even though the project started from a difficult roofing situation, the overall experience turned out very positive. The team was professional, efficient, and easy to work with, and they delivered a solid roof replacement that gave the client a reliable, long-term solution.

  Simmons & Sons Roofing Llc did an excellent job on my roof replacement, and I have not had a single leak or issue since the work was completed. My home is three stories with a large, steep roof, and the house also sits on a hill, so the project was not easy. I spent a lot of time looking into roofing contractors and called several companies, but many gave very high estimates because of the roof pitch and the sloped ground. When Derek came out, he was friendly, professional, and clearly understood steep-slope roofing. He used a drone to inspect the roof, explained the problem areas in simple terms, and gave me a fair quote for the full roofing job. The crew worked efficiently, removed the old roofing materials, repaired the damaged areas, replaced much of the bad plywood decking, and made sure the roof system was solid before installing the new shingles. They also paid close attention to vulnerable spots to help protect the roof from heavy rain and stormy weather common in Atlanta. I really appreciated how Derek, Marvin, Roger, and the crew handled everything from start to finish. They replaced my entire roof, installed new gutters, cleaned up well, and made the whole process much less stressful than I expected. The workmanship was solid, the communication was clear, and the finished roof looks great. I am very pleased with the results and would gladly hire them again.

  They installed my new roof and also handled some related exterior work. While they were on the job, I was impressed by how professional, careful, and clean the crew was. Because of their solid workmanship and strong work ethic, I decided to add more roofing upgrades, including new gutters and attic insulation to help with the hot weather. After a period of heavy rain and stormy weather, I noticed a small leak in the newly installed roof. I called Derek, and he quickly sent a crew to inspect it. They removed and replaced shingles and underlayment to make sure the roof system was sealed well and protected from future leaks. The repair was completed at no cost to me. Later, after more strong rain, I saw a water spot on my ceiling near the roof area. I contacted Derek again, and he came out promptly to inspect everything himself. He found that a vent flashing had not been sealed correctly. Even though that part was outside the main roof work and not covered under warranty, he still sealed the flashing and replaced nearby shingles for free. Derek stands behind his roofing work, responds quickly, and goes the extra mile to make sure the customer is satisfied. It is rare to find that level of honesty, care, and follow-through. I highly recommend this roofing company. This updated review replaces my earlier one after a small warranty misunderstanding was fully resolved.
