For the record, Matt is no longer with the company, he was terminated for exactly this type of feedback from customers. We do not believe in high pressure tactics and we sincerely apologize for the overall experience.

  Would not recommend. We had some issues about my credit tanking basically over night. Simply due to this company sending my information out to multiple lenders without my consent that all did a hard pull on my credit. So multiple hard pulls in a short period of time. When we were led to believe that this was all done “in-house” and then when my wife made a phone call to the company about it. And the “owner” basically cussed her out and said she was lying and to “prove it”. And so we did and called all of the companies that pulled it and traced it back to Shelby construction giving them our information. So it’s proven that they lied. And those are just the ones we’ve seen in the last few days. Who knows how many companies they basically handed out information to. Even bad sketchy companies that they firmly said they do not use. Which was proven not to be true. So when it comes to this company I would say tread lightly.

  We had a quote on our roof done. The salesman was here for a long time explaining things. I had a much lower quote, and I'll give it to him, he convinced me that their company was better. We wanted to finance if possible. The salesman said it would get sent to synchrony bank...since then I've had MULTIPLE hard pulls to my credit. Tanking my score. We were told last week we couldn't finance...as the sales guy was texting me about getting pics of my license...after they already hit my credit....they are STILL pulling my credit as of today, most recently with money lion who is TRASH and I would never agree to finance with. I called the office and all they said was they'd let the owner know. They never even left me an estimate which i didn't realize until today, which is also sketchy. Now I gotta spend a ton of time disputing these hard hits that I didn't consent too. Be careful if you wanna finance a roof and use this company.

  Unacceptable Service – Extremely Disappointing Experience I am beyond frustrated with this company. On August 16, they came to my house, took measurements, and gave me a price. I paid the deposit via credit card on August 19, and their company sign was even placed on my lawn. At that point, everything seemed to be moving forward smoothly. However, after waiting FOUR weeks with no updates, I received a call from the owner, who informed me that they hadn’t even placed the order yet and now needed to redo the measurements. This is absolutely unacceptable. Not only was my time wasted, but the lack of communication and professionalism is extremely disappointing. What makes this worse is that I had referred friends to this company, thinking they were reliable, but now I feel completely embarrassed and regretful. After this experience, I contacted them to not contact this company and the experience I had. I trusted this company with my window installation, and all I’ve received is poor service in return. I would not recommend them to anyone, and I’ll be taking my business elsewhere.

  I am disappointed with the overall experience. The company did not meet expectations, as the work quality was below standard. Despite several promises to resolve the issue, no action was taken. Additionally, I requested that the window door match the same color as the others, but it was made in a different color and never corrected.

  I had Shelby Construction do the siding for my home. I’m very disappointed how the finish product turned out. Our first issue was our siding started to buckle due to the installer face nailing my siding. The installer came out and repaired my issue by adding more nails to the face of my siding. This caused the siding to be much worse. After addressing my concern with the office they decided to redo the siding which was appreciated. Now we have issues where our siding is coming apart and we find pieces in our driving. Very disappointing as this cost us over $7,000.

  Shelby Construction Services completely exceeded our expectations, and to say we are OVER THE MOON with the transformation of our home would still be an understatement. From the very beginning, their team was professional, knowledgeable, detail-oriented, and genuinely cared about the final result as if it were their own home.   We reached out to Shelby as we are exploring options to update our siding and gutters. Mike and Matt came out and gave a wonderful presentation about their services. Unfortunately, the vibe changed when we stated that we were getting quotes from other companies, which is a very typical and responsible thing to do when you are going to be spending thousands of dollars. I was disappointed when I asked Mike if this quote was good for 6 months and he replied “are you really going to use it in 6 months? I can read people pretty good”. Not a great way to make potential customers feel. Matt was very personable. Mike couldn’t get out of the house quick enough once he heard we were getting other quotes. Good companies should encourage people to get multiple quotes. Based on the good reviews, this company was high on my list of possibilities but now I’m not sure.
