  I had my roof and gutters replaced,after that ,my facial came lose and they made every excuse not to repair it.claiming wind damage.piss poor follow-up. I will not recommend this company to anyone. TY NOT SO MUCH.

  I had an insurance claim roof put on by Joe & Second to None in 9/21/2023 ($33,019.42). Joe had complete budget to replace decking issues, use Owen’s Corning and the materials of his choice, etc. process went fairly smooth but after winter I noticed a bunch of my shingles were curling in irregular patterns. Hoping sun in the summer would flatten them out, I waited. I ended up contacting Joe in March of 2025 to ask about product warranty and if this was improper installation. To his credit he came out and checked it out - assured me that it would be fixed. A couple weeks later his partner came out and did the same. I’ve followed up since then (this happened in June) I’ve yet to hear back. Given the finished product and not standing by their work, plus the lack of communication — I wouldn’t recommend this business. Which is a shame because Joe is a personable guy and seems to be a family man like myself.

  Updated Review: Had damaged shingles as a result of storm damage. Joe was very responsive to our initial inquiry for repair. However, PRO-TIP: always request and make sure you receive pictures of any repair jobs that aren't immediately visible (e.g. roof) BEFORE paying. The guy who came out and did the repair told us they'd send pictures of the repair over to us via email once they got back to the office. We didn't see those pictures of the actual " repair" until we got pictures back from the insurance adjuster who came out weeks later, and while we`# requested and paid $500 for a Tarp on the damaged section, what we got was a strip of tarp tape on a small section with the damaged shingles nailed back. As a result our insurance adjuster who came to assess the damage later, perceived we didn't do our due care to properly tarp up the roof to prevent further damage while waiting for the appointment, which proceeded to cause us undue stress and back-and-forth with insurance trying to get our claim approved. I hesitate to say we were scammed, because they did do some amount of work, but the standard and quality vs. What we expected and paid for was not there, and the fact that we never got pictures of the repairs sent to us is why I'm revising this review. The one credit I'll give was that they did come out to try and advocate for us during the actual appointment with the adjuster, but all in all hindsight 20/20 we were not happy with the quality of the repair we paid for and the downstream results.

The last conversation we had together was after the adjuster meeting, when you were considering the option of a new roof. I had tried to reach out to your wife via text asking if you were still interested and we had not heard anything back after that attempt. I do apologize for the pictures not being sent; the old office personnel must have dropped the ball on sending the pictures at that time. We do have saved pictures of before and after showing the area fully tarped, if you'd like to contact me to provide an email for me to send those along to you then I would be more than happy to do so immediately. I am not sure why the adjuster would have responded in the way you stated, as it does not coincide with the proof of work shown in pictures. You will see what I mean once I can those get over to you.   We needed a roof change. After 5 estimates we decided on second 2 none. We don’t regret it. They offered the best price for the same quality as other companies. Did the job efficiently in 2 days although our roof is pretty big and challenging I’d give 4.6 though for delaying the job about 10 days. We still need some gutters to be fixed as promised In general they are excellent. Especially the workers they were amazing worked very hard (7am-8:30pm)👍 I am editing my review The reason is because we recommend the company to our neighbor after finishing our job, but unfortunately they treated him poorly, although he is an elderly gentleman and should be treated respectfully

  I did a lot of research and narrowed it down to the top three roofing companies in the area. I always prefer supporting locally owned and operated small businesses, and STN stood out from the start. Their inspection was by far the most thorough, and even though all three companies used the same roofing materials, STN offered the best value. The crew was professional, courteous, and incredibly hardworking. They paid attention to every detail and did an excellent job cleaning up when they were finished. Joe, the owner, personally stopped by before the project to explain everything and came back afterward to make sure we were completely satisfied. From start to finish, the experience was outstanding. I highly recommend STN to anyone looking for honest, high-quality roofing work.

  Great quote/price with using a better shingles system full tear off and full shingle for for a great price. Efficient. Steep unwalkable pitch. Great communication. Price did not change after completion. Great transferable warrenty. Would hire again!

  These guys came out with No BS gave me a great honest estimate for my full replacement roof. They gave me no pressure which was refreshing. They were not the cheapest, however the best value. The installation was clean and the workers worked hard. I’m from Macomb township.

  They did a great job! All the staff was polite and very helpful with any questions I had. I have a small child and a dog, they made it a point to pickup every screw and debris. Everyone was helpful through every step. They did a beautiful job, we had a horrible storm that took down trees and their work held true. Second to none Roofing, thank you all.

  I just wanted to take a minute to give a shout out to Second To None Roofing. I was having issues with squirrels breaking into my roof and ice damning between the roof and fascia on my home causing the gutters to sag. I called around and got a few estimates. Called Second To None Roofing and Joe the Owner came out himself. He quoted me 3 different options for a full roof and gutter job all at a great price for what they included. They showed up as promised and worked fast to have my roof fully removed and replaced (Even with the roof having a couple complications like 5 Layers of shingles opposed to the 2 or 3 we thought and the foundation of the roof being the original 1928 wood and some of it being rotten) in two days! After the roof was done they quicky had their gutter team come out to finish the job. They went above and beyond to work with me and accommodate my homes needs and my family's comfort which relieved a lot of the stress around the situation. Just look at the before and after pictures, totally night and day, I highly recommend the team at Second To None Roofing!

  The company is very responsive. Very accommodating. Fair in their pricing. Came out immediately to evaluate the roof. Great team communication from the jump. Really grateful I found them!! Highly recommend. The videos and photos and follow-up after the roof was done was impeccable.

This is a full replacement in Clay township. we used Owens Corning Durations shingles. The whole install to finish the roof took about 2 days. 19 hours ago
