  Wish I could give 0 stars. Once this company realized that my claim wasn't going to be a big payday, they ghosted me for over a year and a half. My restoration never got completed. Recently, they reached out wanting a review... well, here you are: DO NOT EVER USE SEVERE WEATHER ROOFING AND RESTORATION! I've told everyone I know to avoid this company like the plague. OH! On top of my issues, I found out that my parents used them many, many years ago for a new roof on their home. Severe Weather improperly installed their skylight replacement and they've had consistent leaks since. Severe Weather came out a couple times to "fix" the issues, but they were never fully resolved. My advice: Contract with a different company.

  Unwilling or unable to provide simple proof of work to satisfy our insurance company. My insurance agent and I both repeatedly called and got nowhere with them.

  I had my roof replaced by Severe Weather Roofing back in late May 2024. Working with Brennan and Daniel was a joy but I did have a few issues with the owner during the process. At first, the owner was not going to re-roof my covered deck even though it appeared to me my insurance company had covered that in their estimate. After I met with the owner, he agreed that the covered deck was to be re-roofed and was included in the insurance document. The 2nd issue I had was during the re-roofing of my 2-car garage, the brackets that hold the insulation up against the ceiling in the garage were shaken loose by the roof removal and installation. Over 65 brackets fell letting the insulation sag or a few fall. When I reported this, I was told they were not responsible for damage inside the structure by their policy. Those brackets and insulation had been in place for over a year without one ever coming loose. If this company is truly a 5 star company, they should have sent someone out for an hour to reinstall the brackets they caused to fall. Due to my age and medical issues, I can't do this. If the company corrects this, I will update this review. I am also still waiting for a document from them for my homeowners insurance company indicating that they installed upgraded shingles.

  Glen, thank you for voicing your feelings as your feelings are valid. However, we understand that a reroof project is a demolition job when we remove the old roof and install the new roof. Major vibration is and should be expected. We let our customers know that some minor damage may take place due to the nature of the project. We are happy to hear you are satisfied with the roof.

  We unfortunately inherited this company because the previous owners of our home used them to replace the roof and the warranty was transferred to us. It took them over a month to respond to a message that was a yes or no answer. We’re selling our home and needed them to come check the roof to replace some tiles. They came one day and didn’t bring a tall enough ladder. They were supposed to come out the next day, and they never showed! They didn’t respond to my husband’s texts to see if they were still coming out. I would never want to use this company! Worst company I’ve ever had to deal with.

  Never calls back. Once the work is done and they have your money, they never call you back. Left with visible ugly shingle marks supposedly somebody came out and fix them the guy didn’t speak English so none of the work got done. Not to mention the fact the workers removed my hose and twisted the outside faucet -I know they broke it ‘ cause the piping inside aren’t that secure. I was home all day, they never asked for help. Left my driveway littered with nails and racks. Once they have my money they will never call me back. I’ve literally call them once a week a couple of times a day and it goes straight to voicemail. My calls are never returned. Supposedly there is a warranty on my roof and $1000 credit. I say supposedly because I’ve never seen the paperwork and I’ve never gotten the call back to confirm where that paperwork is. I do not recommend them for their professionalism. I think that you are going better off going with the local guy who is doing a good job and just trying to support his family.

However, this review is inaccurate in many accounts. This does not mean your feeling are not valid as of course they are valid. I find it sad that you feel it is ok to attack our employee that came out to replace a handful of "ugly" shingles after the city inspector explained to you the shingles were good. We confirmed the faucet was not broken it was just tightened tightly and you were unable to loosen it. So we came out and assisted you with loosening the faucet. Unfortunately, your multiple calls came into the office over the course of three days when we were closed for Christmas. However we were checking voicemail during that period and returned phone calls and emailed you multiple times. Finally, we are a local company that I am proud of the work and customer service we provide. We do this to support our community and families.

We were informed about what work was to be done, why it needed to be done, how it would be done. We knew when the repairs would begin and when they were completed.   We got an excellent crew. Pulled every nail instead of incorrectly hammering them in. I had a roof leak and instead of upselling me 4 sheets of plywood they just let it dry out in the sun before working on that area. I have been in the construction trades for 40 years and I know how to judge quality work. Highly recommend

  I had a great experience with John and Severe Weather roofing. He knocked on my door and offered a roof inspection and after researching his company, I agreed. There was hail damage and John worked with my insurance company to get the best roof put on in Fort Collins. He even persuaded the insurance to pay for my two matching shed roofs. I only paid the insurance deductible. John explained everything, he was easy to understand and his friendliness made me feel very comfortable. Best part is his honesty. Unbeknownst to me there was a thousand dollar error. He notified me and reimbursed me for it. What a guy! And the roof is awesome, I look at it all the time even though it has been a few years, I love it.

  Suddenly discovering your roof is leaking is super stressful, but John was calming, friendly, trustworthy, and thorough. He didn’t try to upsell me on more work than I needed, but completely sealed all problematic spots after a thorough inspection. Absolutely recommend!

  Simply put - I WILL USE NO ONE ELSE! John and his crew were awesome. Quickly diagnosed what was wrong with the roof, put a plan in place, and got the job done. They provided me with before and after photos to ensure I understood everything. When I started to have the issues I thought I would be in for a nightmare of bids, scheduling, waiting, ..... Not the case - this was too easy!

  I highly recommend severe weather roofing. I have a home in Fort Collins Colorado that had some hail damage. John from severe weather roofing came out and did a free inspection.
