  A worker from Scott's Roofing came out to my house to investigate a leak on a Friday and told me he would get me an estimate over the weekend. After not hearing anything, I sent him a text on Monday and he said he was working on quotes and would get to mine shortly. After not hearing anything for a couple weeks, I sent another text and he ignored it. He also left his ladder here and never came back to get it. They are unresponsive and unprofessional, don't waste your time.

  I hired them and they agreed for me to pay them from pocket money and I put in the payment that we agreed too. But they tried to call and find my insurance without my permission which is not business like. Also I told them not to contact my insurance which they did anyway which is very disappointing and a dishonest company.

  Scott's comes highly recommended by both people and manufacturers. Unfortunately, multiple attempts to get ahold of anyone without any answer or call back has left a sour taste in my mouth. It doesn't matter how highly recommended a place is if you can't get a hold of anyone.

  After the roof being inspected by the insurance inspector and Charles from Scott's roofing, Charles and I agreed on a price and signed the paperwork, I wrote both checks to pay for pre- and post work as agreed. Charles never came by to pick up the second check (which was waiting for him as agreed), and then months later he sends me an invoice with $1600+ more than originally agreed and quoted. I should have known that it was fishy in the first place as he increased the quote to match the insurance estimate, for whatever reason, and now they want even more money. I would not recommend doing business with them, as they appear to be very shady, hence I don't understand what all the great reviews are about. This is absolutely not worth the hassle. Now I have to waste my time calling the insurance and figuring out what is going on. As the price was significantly different from the agreed quote, I believe that they are trying extract the most money they can from the insurance company, especially since the initial quote was lower than the insurance estimated. I believe that the way they do it is that they quote the customer a lower price to get the business, then they send a significantly higher price to the insurance for additional reimbursement, and use the customer as the middle man to get the money. In regards to their workmanship, it is my opinion that it wasn't impressive either. Response to the owners threats and comments: I paid the bill because that is what Scott's asked the insurance to send me. I forwarded them the whole amount, as I don't want to deal with them anymore. The review is not about the money, since it is not mine but the insurances. The picture proves their workmanship, and more can be posted, but I don't feel like climbing into the attic and on the roof again.   I would not trust this company to do work for us again. The roof is fine, customer service and job management have been terrible, to the point that we're worried we're going to need a lawyer. For the last three months, we've been coordinating payment between the gutter company and Scott's Roofing because Gary threw gutters in as part of the deal and yet never communicated that to the gutter company and never wrote them a check. We're worried now that we're going to have to get a lawyer and use our contract as legal proof that we don't personally owe the gutter company for their work. There are also a few minor problems left over after the job that need to be fixed before they become bigger problems, and I've communicated this with Gary through 3 unreturned emails and as many unreturned voicemails. I'm very patient and understanding, but this is ridiculous. Nobody from Scott's Roofing has ever called or emailed me back.

  I made an online request for an estimate from Scotts roofing on 03/22/2017. Gary the owner of the company promptly called me and set up an appointment for 03/23/2017 at 1000. BY 1145 on 03/23/2017 nobody had shown up, so I called Gary who apologized and said he had been having phone issues. Gary said he would come by the house at 1300. Nobody ever showed up or called us to cancel the second appointment. On 04/05/2017 I decided to give Scotts a second chance as they had such great reviews, so I called and left Gary a voicemail. I never heard back from him. It is very frustrating that a company would schedule 2 appointments and then never show up for them or call to tell you they were canceling. I tried to give them a chance. Hopefully others have better experiences with this company.

  The process of getting a roof replaced is normally cumbersome and irritating. Not so with Scott's Roofing. JR and his crew were timely, professional, careful and thorough. The roof was replaced on time, looks beautiful and without issues. Couldn't recommend and commend them enough. Great job!

  From the discussion of the project to the moment this crew left my property, every step was seamless. J.R.’s communication was great from what I wanted, the options available, scheduling during a time when there were storms in the forecast, to my satisfaction at the end. The roof is beautiful, the attention to detail from the crew was above anything I’ve witnessed in a construction project. They showed up on time. They worked two very long days and made sure every detail was exactly right. The crew was respectful of my property (even the plants I asked them to be mindful of) and a joy to watch. I can’t speak more highly of Scott’s Roofing and what a great job they did for me. Best contractor experience ever.

  I cannot say enough good things about Scott’s Roofing. From start to finish, the entire experience was outstanding. Blake, the project manager, was professional, honest, and incredibly easy to work with throughout the entire process. He answered every question I had, responded promptly, and made sure every situation was handled correctly. His communication and attention to detail gave me confidence from day one. The quality of the work exceeded my expectations. The roofing crew was skilled, respectful, and considerate of my property. They worked efficiently and completed an exceptional cleanup when the job was finished. You would hardly know they had been there, except for the fantastic looking new roof. The finished product looks amazing, and I feel the pricing was fair for the quality of workmanship and service provided. It’s rare to find a company that delivers exactly what they promised, but Scott’s Roofing did just that. I couldn’t have asked for a better experience or a better result.   JR and the team at Scott’s Roofing were outstanding. JR was professional, responsive, detail-oriented, and excellent at communication from start to finish. Our project had added complexity because it involved roof work plus solar coordination, and he handled it all with confidence and professionalism. What impressed us most was his attention to detail and the way he solved problems directly and calmly when they came up. He helped keep stress low, kept communication clear, and made sure the final product was done right.   Very impressed with Scott's Roofing and in particular Jess. We were getting a second opinion on our roof and it was refreshing to have someone with integrity assess our roof and tell us we in fact did not need to have our roof replaced. Nice to see such honesty in a roofing contractor!!!

  I had my roof completely redone and could not be more pleased with how everything went. The quality of the work was great, but honestly what impressed me most was the crew. They were kind, hardworking, and incredibly efficient. When the job was done, you would never have known they were there, the cleanup was immaculate. They even took the time to carefully move my garden decorations, protected everything that could have been damaged, and put every single item back exactly where it started. That kind of care and attention to detail is rare. I would recommend them without hesitation.
