  They quoted us $700 to reattach a downspout. My husband asked if he was joking, then the guy said he could probably do it for $300. We had our local handy man take care of it for $50 and about 30 minutes to complete.

  Bunch of storm chasers using the weather to come knocking on my door. The salesman was pushy about getting up on the roof after I said I was not interested.

  Disappointed in the service I received from Bulldog Roofing with Jon Grimes. Multiple issues on my house including: - Unaware of when material was arriving to my house - Required notification from me that they might miss their install date because they didn't have material - Notified me at 10pm Sunday night that the installation might not make it after my dogs were boarded - Left the gutters off the house after installing the roof with no timeline given for completion - Required follow up from me to see when the install would happen - When the gutters were installed, they installed the wrong color gutter requiring notification again to Jon to change it - Garbage from the install was left in my yard from the installers that required me to text Jon multiple times over the course of two months only for confirmations that it would be picked up but no follow through I see others have had good experiences with Bulldog so I may have been the exception but I would overall not recommend them unless you are willing to spend time constantly following up that they are doing what they say they will be doing.

  Hey Jeff, Can you give us a call? We cannot find your name in our system anywhere and we’re not sure which project you’re speaking in regard to. With that being said, we would love to resolve this for you immediately and we are sorry if we did leave nails behind. There can be a lot of nails coming off of a roof and we do make a large effort to clean them all up. if we missed some or a bunch, we are happy to come back out and fix it immediately.   Poor communication, rushed work, and left a mess behind. To be fair the roof is up, working fine, and was inspected by another party and it's up to snuff. Let me lead with that, the positive. Communication from the signature of the contract to our roof being worked out and finally finished was sparse at best. They were supposed to be here one day, no one was, no call, but eventually the work was done. No word if it was even inspected, and we never saw anyone do said inspection. The workers were super rushed, and left a lot of trash and nails for us to cleanup. There were left over items that weren't picked up in my drive way for several months. Finally today after the big rain we had dozens of nails wash out our gutters, so I guess it's a good thing we bought that magnet wand. We like to support local but our experience here wasn't up to snuff. Reply: 100% it was you, Darby was the person who worked with us.

  Sadly, I would not recommend. The inspection and scheduling was easy, they replaced my roof October 2021 so it should still be under their workmanship warranty. However, about 8 months after installation there was a large storm and the vent in my bathroom was leaking. I reached out to Bulldog several times with no response. A few months ago a 5 ft piece of my drip edge fell off my roof. I had my roof inspected after this recent hail storm and the inspector found several soft spots in the sheathing and the flashing broke even though the shingles are still in place). I’m thankful for this hail storm because Bulldog’s workmanship is poor and their customer service is worse and now I’ll get a new roof instead of having the one they installed collapse on me because they refuse to return a phone call or email.

  My Experiences with this company are very different from others posting here. early June: signed a contract with a door to door salesman that included an initial quote. oops, first mistake, but I had seen that Bulldog roofing had good reviews and was a local company. June 19:  Adjustor came. Bulldog rep met with him. Adjustor was friendly when first talking with him, but left irritated and annoyed after Bulldogs rep followed him around (I don't know what they discussed) June 30: Got and forwarded Insurance claim. July 6: Chose upgrade to Malarkey Legacy July12: Chose colors for shingles and gutters July 18: paid deposit July 19: placed on schedule expected to be 4 weeks out August 3: schedule estimate refined to Aug 21-23 Aug 22: Material not available, was informed morning of planned delivery. Malarkey shingles not available. Was switched to Certainteed, a cheaper, supposedly lesser brand of class 4 shingle (disturbing as both the bulldog rep and other roofing reps i talked to had stated that the Malarkey were the only ones that would last) August 26: informed that the next available was in October September 8:  roof date moved to September 15 September 14-18: roofing completed September 26: Told Bulldog rep about some items that weren't completed properly per original request (replacing a board and properly flashing it to prevent future damage as well as running gutter so it didn't damage the same board) September 30: rep came to discuss the issues with gutters and flashing October 13th: followed up their inaction with more pics and explanations October 17th: informed of imminent arrival of gutter people. No one came. October 20: rep followed up on non-existent work and was informed nothing had been done. October ~22: gutter people came and did a very poor job (gutters at off angles, flashing still not fixed etc. amateur at best!) October 24: Rep followed up saying everything looked great. (spoiler: it did not). I followed up with more pictures of inadequate work

It is very hard to hear how your experience has gone and we apologize you experienced this. I would like to go through a few of these things but also assure you we stand behind our work and always fix what we did wrong. You also have a lifetime warranty with us that we will always stand behind. 1. Last year materials were very scarce in the industry due to demand and a lot of people experienced huge time delays based on the shingles selected. This was unavoidable on our end and we apologize the industry was in this state. I understand the frustration of delays. 2. The shingle we installed was a CertainTeed Northgate instead of the Malarkey Legacy. These are not cheaper shingles and are actually very comparable products if you look at weight, dimension, and testing standards. 3. All of these issues that have arisen have been fixed and completed properly to our knowledge. And all of these photos have been properly addressed since the photos were taken. Please call the office if this is not true as we will happily fix it ASAP. 4. We do not install shingles in cold frigid temperatures as the manufacturer doesn't recommend it and the product will not function properly. 5. Insurance claims are always priced with the insurance company since they are paying the bill. The original "contract" we filled out states this very clearly and the "estimate" on this document is a rough guesstimate of the value of the claim. Insurance companies require we do the work for what they pay for it so that there is no insurance fraud involved. Insurance proceeds are supposed to be used directly towards the work approved in the claim documents. Again I'm sorry for the inconveniences. If there is anything I can do to fix this situation please let me know. We are still here and still willing to get this right for you. We never wa

  So very responsive when I called for inspection of roof leak. The inspection discovered raccoon damage to chimney flashing. This was repaired quickly by the Bulldog team under the expert guidance of Nathan Weathers. I will always use Bulldog Roofing for any subsequent roof repairs or replacement. (2024 & 2026)

  Bull Dog Roofing is the finest example of how a good company should operate. From the first encounter with a sales agent until the last email containing a warranty, every part of my roof replacement was exemplary. The sales agent was at my side from the beginning examination of the roof to the last city inspection. Calls and queries were answered the same day. The condition of the roof, the nature of the fixes, the cost considerations, and dealing with insurance agents was continuously addressed, explained and updated. The work crew that actually did the roof replacement was well managed, courteous, hard working, and extremely patient with the parking situation in my area. The processing of billing and main office support was simple and straight forward. I wish every renovation and house repair company were as good as Bulldog. A job well done.

  Love BullDog Roofing. Not only did they place my new roof, they completed the insulation to the attic. The repair internal and external boards. City inspector was very please with the workmanship. Great team, very polite and respectful. Can't wait to have them complete my siding and gutters. They added additional vents. My home stays cooler inside less swamp cooler usage. Excited to see what winter will bring.

  I initially contacted Bulldog Roofing to fix a portion of a gutter that was pulling away from the house. Robbie Greg came by to look at it and then asked if he could inspect the house roof. I agreed and he advised that I had extensive hail damage. I also have several other outbuildings so he also inspected those roofs and found the same extensive damage. He took photos of the roofs and then explained the process for getting the roofs replaced, met with the insurance adjuster and was in constant contact with me during the entire process. He was very professional and knowledgeable in answering my questions. The crew that came to do the install was amazing. They were on the house roof promptly at 7 a.m. Around noon, they split up the crew and some of them then started on the other 2 roofs. They were done with all three roofs as well as the roof on a small shed by 6 p.m. that night. Everyone was very courteous and professional. A big thanks to Robbie for guiding me through this intimidating process and going above and beyond to make sure I was comfortable with and informed from the beginning to the end.
