  They sent someone out to see beryl roof damage and some inside but, despite at least 4 follow up calls, I never received an estimate in over a month.

  We set up for them to come give me an estimate on some hurricane damage but after they came and checked out the damage and said they would have an estimate the following day. Unfortunately I haven’t heard anything from them after the guy left and haven’t responded to any messages. Don’t waste your time.

  UPDATE: Immediatly after posting my review the company contacted me. During their busy season, my bid follow up fell through the cracks. We had a great conversation and I am willing to give it another shot! ORIGINAL: While my initial contact with the company was positive. We spoke in length about my project expectations and goals for my whole home renovation, it went badly after that. I was provided a very generic, non-descript estimate. I emailed them and explained that maybe I hadn't been clear, with my expectation and re-sent my project scope. That is where it ended. They never followed up, never declined the work, just nothing. So disappointed.

  The whole process of air conditioning replacement, Sheetrock, texture, painting outside door etc made simple and done right. Call get a unified estimate work scheduled all done smoothly. Everything they have done for us was very good and no big mess.

  From start to finish, the team at Sand Star was professional and on point! Michelle and Weller in the office answered any questions my husband and I had and Jerry knew his stuff at our home and helped us see our vision come true. If you need some work done on your home, these are you people!!

  If you're in Galveston and you want to use local this is the company. They pretty much do anything, I worked with the owner probably 10 years ago when he started from day one and did his own thing he was his own company, and now they're doing everything even working for local businesses and even working for GISD. You will get very personalized service just the right size business.

  Had a new shower installed a gift to my wife of 20 years alec and his team streamlined the whole process and even was able to keep it under wraps till the big surprise recommended sandstar all the way

  I am so grateful for the team at Sand Star. Their easy scheduling and quick service helped me to get my AC running during the hottest part of the summer. Thank goodness they came out as fast as they did to prevent more damage to my ceiling from the AC leak. I appreciated their thoroughness and that they followed up to ensure everything went well.
