  The owner was very cordial and nice when we initially talked. He was able to be there very very quickly and get an estimate together. Not being from the area and knowing contractors, I wanted to get a 2nd opinion. I'm no roof expert and definitely don't know the standards in Texas City, as I'm an out of state investor. The owner contacted me a few days after the estimate, to see if I was ready to go forward. I told him I was waiting on a 2nd opinion to come back. He immediately got an attitude and pouted to take him off my list, as he wasn't interested any more. I was more than likely going with him as long as the 2nd opinion wasn't pointing towards something totally different. I think the owner was offended because I wanted a second opinion. I told him that he obviously didn't need my business, and have a Merry Christmas. He was rude and arrogant with his "bye now" reply. What a waste of time for us both. I don't understand how somebody like this can stay in business. If I lived there. I would make certain everyone I knew was told to avoid Bichon Roofing like the plague. After his arrogance was realized, I was not comfortable that he would perform the job to an acceptable standard out of spite. His loss not mine. I'm going to get this done now for less out of pocket, and would rather pay somebody that isn't emotional and not ok with a second opinion.

  this guy was a fake customer he said he wanted roof but lied about the job we showed up he was there on time and there was know one there we call but he did not answer so i called from another phone number and he answer ed and said he was not ready to meet fake address fake review

  Tracy answered my call very late in the evening when I was anticipating leaving a message. How refreshing to not talk to a robot. He went out the very next day and was very thorough. Thank you, Tracy!!!!

  My mom, M. James recently had minor roof repair done by Bichon Roofing & General Constructing, Inc. on 08-AUG-2026. She had no idea where to start in looking for roof repair contractors. A friend told her about the company, so she decided to give them a try. Mr. Bichon was very friendly and personable. A trustworthy rapport was easily established, and his work was professional and timely. We haven't had a hard rain yet to determine if repair was successful; however, work looks good and has a warranty which is always a plus for me. Gave 5 stars for now.

  Quality materials, prompt service, right price. Tracey and his talented crew did an excellent job replacing the roofs on home and garage. They went the extra mile to put up new siding on the garage. The crew worked efficiently to complete the job in 2 days. I will definitely use their services again! Thank you Tracey

  Tracey came out and did a nice remodeling job on my garage . Installed a large attic fan to help with ventilation and remodeled the inside. Reasonable price, and kept me informed throughout the process. He let me know should anything go wrong that I could call him and he would come out and make it right.

  We hired Bichon Roofing and General Contracting Inc. and they came out and gave us an affordable price, on some roofing repairs. They were clean and fast and do so much more than roof and we will definitely be calling them back!!

  After a roofer canceled on me last minute, I decided to go with Bichon Roofing. Tracey came out next day and got me a new vent pipe flashing. He showed up well equipped with all necessary tools to get the job done and under one hour guarantees his work for one year the only roofer I’ll ever call.

  Tracy (the owner) of Bichon Roofing is great, not only does he answer every call he is very knowledgeable and will go the extra mile to make sure your happy and the job is done correctly the 1st time. I had to call tons of places to finally find the person that has enough insurance and is bonded to do a large job like mine. Thanks Tracy for making my life easier!
