  Our friend is selling house in la marque, I told them to call guaranteed roofing. Mistake. They wanted 1/2 down and said 3 weeks, 3 weeks still no guaranteed roofing. Not a whole roof, just a small repair. Say what you’re do. Then do it. I never pay for any of work before complete.. don’t pay up front..

  Mr. Gandara, I do apologize for the situation. I would love to help resolve the issue, but I'm a bit fuzzy on the details. Did they sign a contract with us and have not been contacted? If so, please have them call in and we will dig in and find out how we might have missed them. We will absolutely make it right for them. I understand that when selling a home, time is of the essence. If they did not sign due to a back log or based on our payment terms, I would like to give a better explanation. We still have an active schedule due to Beryl damage and weather delays, so we are doing our best to complete projects in a timely manner. When clients are in a pinch with time, we do try to find a spot to squeeze them in to meet deadlines when at all possible. As for the 50% down payment, I can see why this would deter someone. We have been in business for 43 years, and there were several decades in which we did not require any down payment before the work was completed. We are aware of the bad reputation contractors get for being paid and disappearing, so we did not want to make our clients uncomfortable. For many years, working on good faith with our clients was a success. However, at some point, we started getting left hanging and ended up 'giving away' free roofs when the client wouldn't pay in the end. For our own protection, and in order to stay in business for our team members to support their families, we began to collect half down. This was to make sure we at least covered ourselves for the cost of materials. We do have repeat customers who call in and wonder why they need to put half down when they never did before. We have made exceptions for those folks, since we have a relationship and know we can trust each other. A quick phone call usually clears this right up. In some cases, it is a new customer and we have a large backlog. This happened quite often right after the hurricane.   Guaranteed Roofing put a new roof on our house. They came and took the old roof off and put the new roof on. They worked steadily and cleaned up their mess each day. Great job and great people to work with on every detail!

  Just had Guaranteed Roofing put a new deck and roof on our house and garage. Fantastic process working with them from the estimate to the work getting done and completed. Everything was well explained during the estimate process and it was no problem deciding what was going to be best to do. Installation was quick and they did a great job cleaning up afterwards. Definitely would recommend them to others as we have used them in the past for some roofing repairs too.

  Since I first contacted Guarantee Roofing & Remodeling from Amber to Jeff and the rest of the crew whom I've met down to roofers, everyone has been super professional. There job is grade A, the roof looks excellent and the cleanup was great. I am going to use them again for my daughters house. Also plan on using them for some remodeling. Definitely recommend them. Right there in Texas City TX on loop 197.

  Beautiful roof, but...I had a roofing & gutter installation done by these guys. They put industrial oversized gutters on my small house and it was flooding my lawn a bit when I was told that the drainage would be let off the property and it was not. Apparently, the salesman Zach must have had a lapse in memory when he fed me that pipedream. The gutter Guy said "they don't tell me the details"..DETAILS matter! Also, there is a small area on rear roof where are the fascia board that they replaced does not meet the decking and the shingles are pointed in different directions. Doesn't seem to be an issue...yet. They put tar there to repair. Also, when they were slamming the old shingles on another part of the roof my light cover slammed down into the floor and broke and they weren't responsible for that, so keep that in mind. You may want to keep an eye on the roofers because when they're throwing the old shingles down to ensure they don't mark up the paint on your house carelessly throwing the old shingles over the edge. A couple years down the road , I noticed some drywall issues on one side of the house that's in my neighbor's area. I went over there to notice that there was no flashing on the rear area on that side and the gutter had buckled (bellied, unattached) full of water pouring water in between the walls. They repaired the gutter and placed flashing there. However, that area continues to take on moisture and the drywall issues were never addressed and met with complete denial. I think the 2 inch kickout is angled too far inward, causing water to come back in instead of going outward). Also went up in the attic , and found that 2 of the rafters had about a two foot area missing. 1 was rotted & the other had been cut & just kinda hangs there. Not sure why Noone mentioned that. I certainly do not have any idea how any inspector could have missed this stuff. I never did see an inspector. I do want to mention that I got like a six thousand dollar estimate and wo
