  You should have left well enough alone. Let's start with the phone call, Got a real person that was nice and she spoke english. She was nice and very attentive. Made the appointment all good. Salty Mike shows up and we make a deal. Workers were suppose to show up between 7 and 10 am. They arrived at 640. Neighbors not happy. But they finally understood that it was going to be hot, so I calmed that situation. Workers did a fantastic job, they were great. Salty Mike called and said he would be here to do the inspection at 430 and he would give me a 30 min. Heads up. My truck was in the shop so it appeared that no one was home. Well at 11:45 am I saw someone walk past my front window, someone opened my screen door, Knocked once and proceeded to enter my house!!! He saw me and backed out saying I'm sorry! What would have happened if I wasn't home. He showed up over 4 hrs. early. And then he asked me about a review. I told him I had already written one, but he couldn't find it. Well then he has the nerve to ask me if he could help me write another review? My answer was hell no I was eating lunch and I would do it later!! I guess you do have a lot of # 1 reviews when you are writing your own reviews. I know if he comes back on my property I'll have him arrested. You asked for it. Fred Wallace

  Salty Dog Roofing did a very poor job and also bent up my gutters on the front of my house. They did tear off roof and reinstall the roof and did a better job the second go around. But would not do anything about my gutters. I do not recommend the as they did not stand behind there work.

  Hey Barney, we are sorry that you had a bad experience. Your review stated that we don't stand behind our work. However, we do stand behind our work (especially in your case). When you complained about your new roof, we went back out and ripped off the brand new roof we installed and completely replaced it- we didn't even argue about it because we wanted you to be completely satisfied. Then you complained about the damaged gutters. However, we have photos of the damaged gutters prior to any work being completed. Therefore, we are not replacing the gutters.

  Brag, boast ,song and dance & pitch & catch sales which ties up your time to give an overly inflated price. Our roof was under 20 squares 4/12 pitch 2 vents ,1 mast, ranch style home. 1st price over 19k , 2nd price over 12k both GAF architectural shingles. Recent quotes under 7k to slightly over using Owen’s Corning, with well repable roofing long standing companies . Surprise for this area in goose creek sc. would not recommend this company. similar sales gimmick programs are car salesman. What is good to them isn’t necessarily a good deal for you. I give them 0 for rating waisted time for me.

  I filled out an online form for a quote and they started calling after we were in bed. Pushed to voicemail because I was trying to get to sleep and they called back until I picked up . Very unprofessional and rude . Would not do business with a company like this .

  They came out to give me a free inspection. My house is 11 years old. Told me I needed a new roof. Good thing I called other contractor’s. My roof is fine. Buyer beware!

  EDITED ***There have been some issues since installation and getting them resolved has been problematic. I will update this review if there is resolution. The repair crew didn’t show up when they were scheduled and all I have gotten so far is “I’m working on it”.

  I must say this Sales person AG was amazing. He so informative and so patient with me. He made a world of difference. And Oh don’t forget his sales partner David who so helpful. I recommend AG with Salty Dog Roofing. Great experience!!!

  Salty Dog was my 3rd company out and wasn’t the cheapest, but also not the most expensive estimate I got. What I liked though is how responsive they were out of all the companies. Real people. Especially so the kid I worked with. I worked with Mike aka Salty Mike. Tuff kid, funny and he didn’t lie once. I decided to redo trim board in the middle of project and Mike and his crew did their magic. I’m really glad I picked these guys. My Owen’s Corning roofing system is sure pretty and I’d recommend these guys to do my mother’s roof - it also helps they fund projects. Call salty Mike !
