  I called Royalty Roofing and they sent David out for an estimate on the cost of full roof replacement. They seemed professional over the phone and followed up with confirmation of the estimate the day prior. Dave arrives, albeit 15 minutes late outside of the 2 hour window, gets out of the car and does not even go on to the roof. He stood on the sidewalk and stated that he “can see the shingles from here”. He then proceeds to take a tape measure out and measure the length of the sides of my house to get an idea of the square footage of the roof. Previous companies actually measured the roof itself and used computer programs to gain accurate measurements since my roof has a decent pitch. I had to persuade him to look in my attic to assess the integrity of my roof as well, so he simply popped his head in for 10 seconds. After scribbling the numbers down and adding them up into a notebook he had, he tells me the cost of full roof replacement for both my house and garage which came back much lower than previous estimates. I worry that it is due to inaccurate measurements, but I can’t say for certain so I don’t complain. I ask him for the additional costs for the gutters and attic insulation to which he seems to think for a second and then gives me a range, instead of an exact cost. Because I felt uneasy, I requested a formal estimate be written up stating the exact costs discussed today for my records. He stated he couldn’t provide one because their administrative office was busy. I called after he left and followed up for the next 3 business days and have been given one excuse after another as to why they can’t provide an estimate. “Oh I’m sorry, David was busy and I couldn’t reach him”, “I left the office for the day and forgot to call you back”, or my favorite “we don’t provide formal estimate right ups or we will have to charge you because you may use it for insurance purposes and never actually use us for the job”.   When Joe originally spoke with you, he informed you to repair the entire section of the roof he quoted you at $11,500. But you persuade him to only repair part of the section (which is the quote of $6,500). This morning, upon arrival, once again we notified you if you repair only one part of the section, you would encounter issues with the roof and have leaks in the future. Because we are an HONEST company, we notified you of best solution for you and what the additional cost would be. The $4,000 is for the additional square footage we recommended to have done. It was not for the section you had signed the contract for. Because you did not agree of the price, we returned the down payment in which you accepted and we did not start the job this is why the contract is no longer valid. We returned your call (2.8.21) to try to work something out to better assist you and even offer to give you a $2,500 discount to help you with your roof but you rejected the offer (which came down from $11.5K to $9K). After some time, you requested to pay it at the original contract price, but final payment would be in 60 days. Unfortunately, we are not able to assist you financially. Please be aware, if the neighbor was unhappy or felt unfair of the contract, he wouldn't have recommended you to us. We are sorry this contract did not work out; we wish you well. Good luck!

  Uzi was very professional and pleasant to work with. We were out of the country after I signed the contract and he took care of everything, securing the permits, scheduling, etc. He also kept me updated on the work progress. I spent a little bit more because of more broken tiles than was allowed for in the contract. I think the price is fair and the “peace of mind” I got dealing with Uzi is priceless. Great job, Royalty Roofing.

  After last year’s rains I needed a new roof. I met with five different contractors and chose Royalty Roofing. My first impression of Mr. Uzi Edri, the project manager, was that he is a no-nonsense, trustworthy person. I wanted to keep my red-tile roof. He told me from the beginning: 1) that it would be more expensive than a shingle roof; 2) that it would take longer to do the job because of the complexity of my roof; and, 3) that, for his company and him, doing the job well and precisely was more important than doing it quickly and inaccurately. Uzi was available whenever I had concerns and Martín and his crew answered my questions, as well. Their professionalism and reliability were evident consistently. I recommend Royalty Roofing and Mr. Uzi Edri with no hesitation.

  Working with Royalty Roofing on the entire roof replacement has been a very positive experience and the finished product speaks for itself. Roi have great communication skills and commendable follow-through - you feel you're in good hands throughout the project. Roi went over and beyond in managing this project on our behalf, since we are located out of state, pictures & videos were sent daily, their team was very professional from start to end.
