I can’t speak to the quality of their actual service because we never got that far, but the sales experience was extremely uncomfortable. The sales pitch was very high-pressure, with repeated self-praise about being “the best in the …

I’m really disappointed with the experience I had with Roof Bear. We had our roof replaced by them, and not long after, our air conditioning stopped working. After calling an HVAC technician to check it out, we were told that one of the refrigerant lines in the attic had been punctured by a roofing nail—something that clearly happened during the roof installation. I reached out to Roof Bear right away, and after a few days of back-and-forth communication, they finally came to take a look. They removed part of the roof and confirmed that yes, they had accidentally nailed into our AC line. Even with that confirmation, they refused to take responsibility or cover the repair costs. We ended up having to pay for it ourselves, which was incredibly frustrating and unfair. I would not recommend this company to anyone. The lack of accountability and poor customer service were extremely disappointing, and I would never use them again.

Recently we had some minimal roof damage, we contacted Roof Bear because we had used them for changing our roof 2 years ago, the hurricane damage unveiled shoddy work they had done and some issues with the prior roof replacement, including issues with foam insulation that we placed at a high cost. We made the mistake of trusting them and using them again. The quoted a very high cost and said they needed to replace a large area to fix two small holes in the roof, we believe them as they had done our roof before but at the time of replacement they ended up just removing about 5f by 4f area in the roof for about 1900 dollars. When we called them to inquire about the difference between the quoted job and the actual work done and the cost, they said it was our problem. They were rude and they refuse to take any input from costumers. Please do not use them.

On 10/20/2022 we contracted with Solar Bear for a new roof and solar panels. On 11/29/22 the shingles were delivered and stored on our existing roof. Two weeks later the old roof was removed, but the nails and debris from this process remain in our yard to date (1/11/23). Tar paper was installed but the new roof was not installed until 12/31/22. During the interim, rain, wind and the coldest weather in Central Florida was experienced. Before the new roof was installed, we questioned the advisability of installing the shingles since we suspected they had been damaged by the prolonged exposure to the elements. Solar Bear assured us that the shingles were good. A subsequent gutter inspection failed and Solar Bear recommended replacement with new gutters. During the removal of our old gutters, the Solar Bear crew damaged our fascia panel, exposing our attic to the elements and to small animals such as rats, squirrels. The crew left the site without pointing out this damage. The crew did not return until the next week, when they made a temporary repair to the fascia panel. This need to be permanently repaired before the new gutters are installed. On 1/9/23 the roof failed inspection due to damaged/defective shingles. We contacted Solar Bear immediately, showing them photographs taken by the inspector of the entire roof. The inspection was merely a formality. Anyone with a discerning eye could see the shingles were defective/damaged. Solar Bear’s employees should have raised the issue with their crew chief, who should have taken the initiative not to install the damaged/defective shingles. Solar Bear’s Managing Partner emailed me this morning saying one of their employees would be on site sometime today to replace selected shingles that appeared to be damaged. I do not agree with this “solution.” The entire roof failed inspection. Photographs show the entire roof to be comprised of damaged/defective shingles - not just a few. The entire roof should be

Sometimes you need to be on the ship to know if the cruse will have a smooth sail, investment not worth a penny. They never told me that they will be claiming our solar tax credit, they told us if you claim it your monthly payment goes up, if you don't it stays at what we're showing you; but they never said we will get that money, we will get your solar ax credit!!!, they explained in a totally different deceiving way. We fell for it, yes it's in the contract, but I thought that when they explained everything with a smile in their faces that they where being honest and there was no need to read it, my bad. Still they drop the ball on us numerous times including roof installation w/o HOA approval, with a quadruple bypass surgery on tow few days prior I had to solve issue sending emails, making phone calls, taking pictures...really!!! if you only knew what it is like to go through something like that. They installed solar panels on the wrong configuration because no one checked revised and engineering approved layout, it took forever for them to rectify, that been said, everything that needed to be rectified was done after I called, not out of their own will. No follow up, no emails, no text messages, no respect, no empathy, never ever again!!!!!!!!!! blindly took advantage of my situation, try to cancel contract but did not have the asking $3,000 to stop this farce.

I had my roof replaced in March 2026. In doing so they pulled off old shingles around my sky light over my front porch. The very first rain caused my furniture on the porch to get soaked. I called numerous times to ask someone to come out to check the leaks. My son finally called for me, and then someone came out and put some silicone along the edge of the skylight. The very next day it rained again. Everything got wet again. We called numerous times again, no answers. We asked to speak to the owner but no response. Roofing companies are supposed to fix your roof to prevent leaks not cause them. My skylight did not leak before this. Finally Hector, who was very concerned came out and assessed the issue. Without giving up, he fixed my leak. I am very happy with how Hector handled the repair. Besides this issue, my roof looks Beautiful!

Roof Bear was one of 5 companies I had out to quote me for a metal roof. Erica was fantastic, timely, thorough, and knowledgeable as it relates to our roof challenges. We have solar so there would need be a remove and reset also. Erica went to bat for us and secured us the best possible price. In the end our current solar agreed to remove and reset our entire system, which saved thousands, however had they not agreed on same, Erica was my next call! Thanks Erica for you and Roof Bears professionalism.
