One of the worst roofing company I had to deal with. The owner was very rude.

I m sorry to hear that you are not pleased with my Service. But, You called me to book an appointment and when I tryed to attend as promised, you tell me that you allready hired someone else and didn t even have the common courtesy to cancel our appointment. Instead of apologizing for compromizing my daily schedule, you try too get me to come to your house to give you a quote to replace your Roof. Than, when I politely explain that I was unable to provide any further Service, you beligerently tryed to make it sound like I m unprofessional, that I don't know what I am doing and you hung up in my ear. To top it all off, you get your wife to call me today(a week later), after you found out that the Roofer you hired didn t do His job properly, trying to mask the fact that it was you who required the Service. I politely passed and made sure to provide an explanation for why I could not provide a quote, which your wife understood, even went as far as too apologize to me for the inconvenience. Now your maliciously trying to smear my name on all available public Platforms? I tryed to be of Service. All you had to do was cancel our appointment. I have no time for people who do not hold up their end of the bargain. My obligations are to those who need my help and share a mutual respect. Just for the record, I treated you with nothing but respect. At no time was I rude. I tryed to help. Sorry you feel this way. I hope you find what your looking for. Take care.

I contacted Frank at Right Choice Roofing to assess and potentially fix a leaking roof for one of our clients. My call was picked up right away, had an easy time communicating and coordinating with Frank. He is very knowledgeable, thorough in his assessment, and professional. I have absolutely saved his contact for roofing repairs and assessments in the Toronto area.

We had severe squirrel damage on our roof, and after reading the reviews of several roofing companies, we decided to contact Right Choice Roofing. Frank Gillis, the owner, came right away to have a look, and helped us decide how to proceed. The old roof had slate with insufficient overlap and lead flashing, which the squirrels had chewed holes in. Our options were to replace with shingles or an expensive new slate roof with copper flashing. We went with slate and copper. Frank assisted by Mathew did an exceptionally thorough and proficient job. The care and expertise with which the job was done and the cleanup afterwards was A++. I must also add that both Frank and Mathew are very nice and honest, always arrived as promised and always kept me informed on the progress. Thank you Frank and Mathew. It was a pleasure. Torfinn

Right Choice Roofing, Frank and company were wonderful! They came to do an emergency roof clear and temporary repair in the winter. I called them when water started pouring out of my windows into my kitchen and stairwell. They cleared the roof and created a temporary tarp to prevent further leakage. Frank told me that this repair would realistically only last 2-3 months, as of today its been 5 with no leaks Frank was personable, knowledgeable, profession, and really cared which helped when my walls were leaking water. Highly recommend and thank you Right Choice Roofing and Frank. Five stars.

Slate Roof Repair in Parkdale, Toronto Slate is one of the toughest Roofing materials there is. But even Slate Tiles can fail. As a Slate Roof ages, fasteners deteriorate, old repairs loosen and years of weather take their toll. Eventually, a Tile can slip out of position — or come off completely. That’s exactly what happened at this Parkdale home. Several Slate Tiles had slipped completely off, leaving the Wood substrate exposed to rain and snow. The homeowner had no idea. The area had been exposed for so long that the Wood was severely weathered — practically petrified. That’s what makes missing or slipped Slate so concerning. Water can get behind the Roofing system and start deteriorating the Wood long before a leak ever shows up inside the home. There’s also a serious safety concern. Slate is heavy. A loose Tile sliding off a multi-storey Toronto home can seriously injure someone below or cause significant damage to a vehicle or property. The upside? Catch it early and it can often be a relatively straightforward repair. Leave it exposed long enough and a small Slate repair can turn into a much larger Roofing and Wood substrate repair. You don’t need a ceiling stain to have a Roof problem. Sometimes the warning signs are already sitting right above you. If you have a Slate Roof in Toronto, having it inspected periodically can help catch slipped, cracked or missing Tiles before they cause bigger problems.3 days agoLearn more
