I live in the Wheelersburg area and called local roofing companies and told them I didn’t need a new shingle roof only a repair. They would decline to send anyone. Declined to even want the job. I called Richter roofing and he came out, said I didn’t need a new roof and he would not try to sell me on one. I thought half shingled roof to fix my leak and he said no it won’t look good. He found the leak and repaired it. Went over the whole house and checked and sealed and fixed exposed nail heads and cracks. He gave me a great price for repair when other roofers didn’t care I had a leak unless they roofed the house. He’s honest on his opinion and explains the problem to you!

Had a great experience with Richter Roofing repairing my chimney and roof. Markus was very professional in explaining the problem and remediation of how it was to be fixed. Nick did an excellent job putting concrete crown on chimney. Would highly recommend Richter Roofing for all your roofing needs.

Our roof lost several roof caps and had shingles sliding down. It had also caused a small drip into on of the bedrooms. We tried calling several listed roofers with no response. That's when Richter roofing was recommended to us. We called and got an immediate response . Mark came out and used a drone to inspect the damage and determine the cost . The next day they had to take a break from the job they were on and came to take care of our roof. Mark showed us the pictures of the roof and explained what had to be done. Price was upfront and reasonable. They are a local business located on Chillicothe street, Portsmouth, Ohio 45662. I would highly recommend due to quick response, very professional and experienced. When I need repair or a new roof I will definitely use Richter Roofing again.

Thank you so much for the wonderful review, Cynthia. I truly appreciate you taking the time to share your experience. I'm especially grateful that Richter Roofing was recommended to you, and I'm glad I could respond quickly and get out to inspect your Portsmouth, Ohio home. Building lasting relationships within our local community is extremely important to me. Whether it's a small roof repair, an emergency leak, or a complete roof replacement, I believe every homeowner deserves the same prompt response, honest recommendations, and quality workmanship. As a small owner-operated roofing company, earning the trust of one homeowner at a time is what has allowed my business to grow. I'm glad we were able to stop your roof leak caused by the missing shingles and get everything repaired within a day so you didn't have to worry about additional water damage. Using the drone to document the condition of your roof also helps me show homeowners exactly what I'm seeing, so you can make an informed decision with confidence. Thank you so much for the kind words, Ray. It was a pleasure working with you, and I truly appreciate the trust you placed in me from day one when I came out to repair your roof leak at your Portsmouth, Ohio home. I'm glad we were able to stop the leak and protect your home until the time came to replace the roof properly. Honesty has always been one of my highest priorities. While I always prefer to recommend a repair when it's the right solution, the photos clearly showed your shingles had deteriorated to the point where a roof replacement was the best way to protect your home for years to come. I'm grateful you trusted my recommendations and the documented evidence throughout the process. I was also happy to waterproof your chimney as part of the project. Chimneys are one of the most commonly overlooked areas during roof replacements, yet they're often one of the first places leaks develop if left unprotected. Unless a chimney requires masonry repairs, waterproofing is always on my checklist because many contractors don't take the time to inspect or address it. It's an inexpensive step that can help prevent moisture intrusion and keep a chimney performing as it should for many years. Thank you again for your trust and recommendation, Ray. Your Portsmouth home looks fantastic with its new roof, and I'm confident that with the new roofing system and the chimney protection, it should remain well protected for decades to come. If you ever need anything in the future, don't hesitate to give me a call.

Had an excellent experience with Richter roofing. My place near Vanceburg, Ky had part of the roof blown off from the recent tornado. In a little over a week from initial contact, Richter had it replaced. Would definitely use again.

Thank you so much for the wonderful review, Steven. I truly appreciate you trusting me with your Vanceburg, Kentucky home. Even though you're across the river from us, I was happy to make the trip and help get your storm-damaged roof back into excellent condition. Your project definitely presented some unique challenges. By installing the replacement metal panels in the opposite direction to properly tie into the existing roof, it created considerably more labor, but it allowed me to save you thousands of dollars by avoiding the need to replace the entire front roof slope. Finding practical, cost-effective solutions for homeowners is always one of my top priorities whenever it's possible. Thank you again for your trust and recommendation, Steven. I'm glad we were able to restore your roof after the storm while keeping the repair professional, durable, and affordable. If you ever need anything in the future, don't hesitate to give me a call.

I recently had my roof replaced by Markus from Richter Roofing, who came out from Portsmouth, Ohio to my home in Adams County. He was very knowledgeable and took the time to explain everything clearly. I really appreciated his attention to detail, especially when it came to correcting the ventilation on my home—it made a big difference. He also helped tie in a new porch addition and finished it off with new trim metal, which turned out great. The entire job came out excellent. When they were finished, the yard was cleaned up immaculately, and they even ran a nail magnet several times to make sure nothing was left behind. I highly recommend Markus and Richter Roofing for anyone needing roofing work done.

🏠 **Roof Estimate in Wheelersburg, Ohio** Richter Roofing was on **Meadow Lane in Wheelersburg, OH** today performing a roof inspection and gathering measurements for an upcoming roof replacement estimate. During our assessment, we identified significant **freeze-thaw cracking throughout the face of the chimney brick**. We discussed the condition with the homeowner and, provided the chimney is no longer in use, will likely recommend removing it below the roof deck, installing new decking over the opening, and roofing over the area. This permanently eliminates an aging roof penetration and the potential for future chimney-related leaks and masonry repairs. We’ll review our measurements and inspection findings and provide the homeowner with a detailed estimate and recommendations. 📍 **Wheelersburg, Ohio** 📞 **740-USA-ROOF** Richter Roofing — Roofing Done Right. 7 days agoLearn more
