This company blocks streets with their dumpsters and materials. The pictured boards have been on a narrow street, taking up parking for neighbors, for two weeks without any work being done.

    Reply from the business

Thank you for sharing your concerns. We understand that parking in the city can be limited and that construction projects can create temporary inconveniences. Working in the city also presents unique logistical challenges that our team works hard to navigate responsibly. For this project, all required permits were obtained, and we have followed all applicable city mandates and regulations regarding the placement of dumpsters and materials. We would also respectfully clarify that this review does not reflect the reviewer's experience as a customer of Resnick Roofing & Contracting or the quality of our work or service, but rather concerns related to a properly permitted project in their neighborhood. - Leah Cullen, President, Resnick Roofing & Contracting

My experience with Resnick Roofing has been nothing short of disastrous. I initially contacted them in May 2025, and they came out to provide a quote for fixing the fascia on the edge of my roof, replacing the gutters, and fixing a leak. I agreed to the project at that time. They assured me that the work would be done in a few weeks and that they would keep me updated. However, I never received any further communication from them until October. In October, someone called and apologized for the lack of communication. They explained that there had been employee turnover, and I had fallen through the cracks. From that point on, they assured me that I was being treated as a priority. A few weeks later, they came out and gave me another quote, and I agreed to proceed. I signed the contract in December and was told that the work would be completed between the 1st and 2nd week of January By the third week of January, I had heard nothing. I reached out to them, and it took over a week for them to respond. They explained that with the snowstorm that had hit the area had caused delays, but they assured me that my repairs were still in their queue. I understand that the snowstorm had affected other people, but my roof was also affected. It’s now going to cost me more than I had initially budgeted. We are now at the end of March, and they continue to push my repairs back. I understand that my repairs may not be as urgent to them as they are to me, but I still want them to be completed per our agreement They put a patch on my roof in December and told me that it would last 90 days, but we are past that point now, and they still haven’t come to do the job they agreed to. They eventually told me that all work was out on a 5 week hold. That would’ve been nice to know earlier. In April, they finally arrived and fixed the patched area. However, when I inquired about the fascia, the technician informed me that he was unaware of that needing done. A week later, they called me to

Thank you for taking the time to share your experience. First and foremost, I want to sincerely apologize for the frustration you’ve encountered. The delays, communication gaps, and overall experience you’ve described are not the standard we hold ourselves to, and we apologize for the disruption and frustration you experienced. At Resnick Roofing & Contracting, we stand behind our work and take concerns like yours seriously. The issues you raised, particularly surrounding the leak and follow-up, are not how your project should have progressed, and I appreciate you bringing this to our attention. That said, I do want to provide some additional context around the timeline. The initial timeframe discussed was based on the original scope of work. As the project progressed, there were multiple updates to scope, selections, and final details that we were happy to accommodate. Finalizing those items did extend the timeline. Additionally, the selected siding color was part of the James Hardie Dream Collection, which is a custom order product with a standard 6 to 8 week manufacturer lead time from the point that all selections and details are finalized. While we always aim to move as efficiently as possible, these factors do impact overall scheduling. To my understanding, all project items and repairs have now been completed. If we are overlooking anything, please let us know and we will address it promptly. I have made attempts to connect, and if you would be open to a conversation, I would welcome the opportunity to speak directly and ensure everything has been resolved to your satisfaction. Our goal is to ensure every project is closed out to the customer's satisfaction, and our company standards. - Leah Cullen, President, Resnick Roofing & Contracting

I saved for many, many years to pay cash for a new roof. It is an enormous investment. I interviewed many companies and Resnick offered what appeared to be a solid deal from a solid company. After having my roof replaced, I am not convinced I made the right choice. First, I was promised a team would arrive on a specific day baring bad weather. I explained to Resnick that I work full time and had to have a family member drive a hour to sit in my home to let them in and out to access the attic. I was assured they would be there or call if anything changed. The day Resnick promised to show up ( baring bad weather) no one showed. No one called. No one would return my calls. It was radio silence and a beautiful sunny 68 degree day! When they finally called me at 1130 am, I was told they ran over at another job the night before and bumped me. They knew they weren’t going to make it and didn’t even have the courtesy to call. Fast forward to installation day, the project manager informed me after the fact that they had to “watch a you tube video on how to install the Sun Tunnells” I ordered because they had “never put them in before”. Funny, the salesman assured me they had done hundreds. The confidence this inspired in me was lackluster at best. The installation team worked til after dark and when they left, I was told by the project manager that they would be back the next day to finish the job. I received a text an hour later saying the job was done and someone would be over the pick up the dumpster tomorrow. What???? The parts to my sun tunnel were nowhere to be found. I crawled up into my attic space to look for the parts and saw a collar hanging loose from one of my vents with the screws dangling uselessly midair. In my daughter’s room, the screen is destroyed. They also shattered the trim boards beside my windows and reassembled them like a jigsaw puzzle and didn’t tell me. I didn’t notice til two days later and I almost screamed!!!! I would never hire this c

Had our roof replaced over the summer. I just went into the attic to get our Christmas stuff only to find that they never re-connected either of our bathroom fan vents. They have been venting into the attic for months causing mold. Update: Resnick did come out and fix the duct issues. They also hired the mold remediation company Bactronix to come out and test for mold which came back positive. They ended up doing mold remediation in the attic and I requested a full house air quality test which Resnick also covered and came back within safe levels.

    Reply from the business

Jason, thank you for updating your review and for giving us the opportunity to address this. After learning about the disconnected vent, our team returned to correct the issue and worked with Bactronix to complete mold testing and remediation in the attic. We also arranged for a full home air quality test to confirm everything was within safe levels. At Resnick Roofing & Contracting, we stand behind our work and remain committed to doing what is right when concerns arise. We appreciate the opportunity to resolve this and ensure everything was properly addressed. - Leah Cullen, President, Resnick Roofing & Contracting

While having an experienced friend install a new roof on my home we ran into a problem putting on a drip edge on one side of the roof. A large gap requiring a much larger drip edge which no one could provide. In a panic I went to Resnick roofing on Route 8 in Gibsonia, Pa. Where they did not hesitate in opening up there shop and found the exact color in sheeting, cut it to size and bent it to the exact angle required to cover the gap and allowed us to finish the roof before any damaging rain. They not only saved the day, but saved costly repairs had they not helped. Thank you, and I guarantee I will always recommend them to everyone I know. John Ley
