Absolutely the worst work we have ever had done. They sold us on ventilation that they then installed improperly. After six months and the winter hit our attic was like a sauna. They put eye brow vents below the warm wall and they didn't have the ridge vent cut properly or enough installed. After they looked at it they said they were not ventilation experts and we needed to seek help else where. After having it inspected by over 7 different companies, they all confirmed the same thing. We then had to go through mediation to get it resolved. They came to fix it and didn't do it correctly three times. From what we could tell it was done it was completed but we are not roofers or contractors. Months later we can see they didn't do the job properly and now are going to have to go get help from a different company. I strongly recommend you do not use Renaissance Roofing and tell your friends, even though they seemed like they knew what they were talking about thousands of dollars later it is clear they do not. I stand by my word, when I say it was not done correctly I mean when they were supposed to cover up the ridge vent, they did so with just the shingles, no plywood was put down first. We did get outside help because Renaissance claims they are not ventilation experts, even though they sell customers on ventilation. There is a calculation for intake and out take to make it so your attic is the correct atmosphere. So yes we got the recommendation from and "Expert" and that was correct. After going through the CCB and mediation and they came to fix the work they had to come back a number of times to fix it properly. This has nothing to do with the bathroom remodel. I am speaking up so others know my experience and know to ask the correct questions and look for mistakes. I am also speaking my mind because I believe Renaissance and all roofers should be qualified ventilation experts, this would not only make companies more money but provide the kind of

Thank you for sharing your feedback. We'd like to provide some context for others reading this review. Our records show that ventilation improvements were recommended during our service, and a declination form was signed by you at that time, indicating that you rejected our recommendation. We also have documentation that the work we completed followed the specifications provided by your chosen consultants. We understand that a subsequent remodel included bathroom venting changes, and we'd encourage speaking with a qualified remodel contractor about how that may be affecting your current situation. We wish you the best in resolving it.

We recently purchased a home that has a warranty for a Renaissance Roof but it's only worth the paper it's printed on since the company charges a $350 inspection to evaluate how the roof is weathering. Other companies do a complimentary inspection/estimate or charge a more reasonable trip-fee of around $99-150. I spoke to a manager at the company and he said something to the effect of "How else are we going to make money"? It's so disappointing because I want to support local small businesses... but that is to the degree that the business is mindful of also being in partnership with those in their communities. It would take most of us an entire day or two to earn $350. The $350 exploitative in that it is not commensurate with the time it takes them to come out and do their inspection. I shared this perspective with the manager I spoke with and he was unmoved. He also needs some de-escalation training for himself or he should have someone more customer service savvy be the person to be the company's problem solver. I ended up hanging up on him since he kept talking over me. Well sir, you saved money on any repairs needed for our roof warranty because we won't be having you work on our roof. However, that is a shortsighted approach to business since word of mouth is the slow and steady way to build a business. We will share our experience with our neighbors.

In your original call, you requested an inspection service. In the first review you left, you referred to the service as an estimate. Now, you are talking about a warranty evaluation. These are three different services, so you may find it helpful to have these terms defined. An estimate is the pricing process for specific work tied to a proposed repair or replacement. We offer our estimate appointments for free with the understanding that the customer may sign on to pay for the proposed repair or replacement. An inspection service is a process to define the current condition of a roof, including damage or wear, code issues, or potential future problems. An inspection is a paid service we would deploy to determine how a roof is weathering, for example. A warranty issue is something we always investigate if the warranty holder has identified a specific issue. Broadly determining “how the roof is weathering” is a service that is not covered by our warranties and is instead covered by our inspection service, as previously defined. In short, inspections determine “what’s wrong,” estimates determine “what will it cost to fix,” and warranty services happen once something has failed. To be clear, what you were asking for is an inspection, which is a paid service. Being that you are new to the area and have never worked directly with us, we understand how these terms could be confusing, especially if you are unfamiliar with our positive regional reputation.

Use to be a 5 but one year after install there was mold covering the entire attic including the new replaced sheeting. Warranty would not cover it. Company wouldn't respond to email or phone after my initial inquiry. Prior to install they conducted a survey and made recommendations. More vents than the original were added based on their recommendations. Rather than working to find a solution or making a recommendation for a solution they hide from their customers. Don't waste your money on the warranty and don't expect your calls to be answered if an issue arises.

We did respond to your emails and phone calls, but we will repeat the explanation for any other customers who may read your review. Mold is excluded under our warranty because we have zero control over mold, and the homeowner has 100% … More

DO NOT HIRE! This company immediately became combative when a concern about their workmanship arose. Rather than handling the situation professionally, they refused to come back to the job site to inspect and calmly discuss the issue. The owner, Greg Evans, threatened to process a lien on my home, send me to collections and withhold my warranty. AND THEN HUNG UP ON ME! Their behavior is extremely unprofessional. They could easily resolve the situation, but chose to escalate it instead. BUYER BEWARE!

4/17/25—This is a new review because we re-hired this exceptional company to roof our home this year. We hired this company to replace my mother’s roof in 2021, and the entire experience was exceptional—from the initial bid to the final clean-up. We were so impressed with their professionalism, efficiency, and attention to detail that we didn’t hesitate to hire them again for our home’s roof. The crew was outstanding—hardworking, courteous, and incredibly thorough. Felix, the lead roofer, went above and beyond to answer all our questions and ensure we felt confident throughout the process. Not only did they install a beautiful, high-quality roof, but they also took great care to leave the property spotless. I can’t recommend this company highly enough—they delivered top-notch service and exceeded our expectations in every way.

Not well. I never wanted a roof due to no damage so my obnoxious neighbor gave someone my dad's mobile phone number. Long story short. There is going to be a huge crack in my upper front wall from expanding ice in four feet of water …

From the first time I called these guys I was impressed with the experience. The guy giving me the quote was personable and had follow through, and once I got things lined up on my end they had the roof of before I knew it. The actual install was clean and quick. My yard looked better than ever. Really a pleasure to work with. Recommended.

Paulo came out for the estimate at my moms house and was very kind and professional. We got a total of 5 estimates from the top rated roofing companies in Eugene and surrounding area. Paulo is the ONLY representative that actually followed up with me after our appointment to see if I had any questions and that was honestly one of the deciding factors in why we chose them to redo my mom’s roof. One thing I really appreciated was that Paulo did not come across as a sales person trying to sell you something that was low quality, but instead, he was well educated about the materials/process and ultimately he made us feel comfortable and confident in our decision. Overall, out of all the companies we got bids from, Renaissance roofing was the best priced, with the best quality of materials, and my mom‘s roof looks amazing. I highly recommend renaissance roofing!
