  Salesman called just after 9am saying he drove around my neighborhood and wanted to know if I was still the owner of my home. When I asked how he got my phone number, he said the world is a scary place and he looked it up online. Seems like a pretty shady way to drum up business, especially since there is no soliciting in my neighborhood and they couldn't knock on my door.

  Called them because they were recommended by people i know who are landlords. I have a 14sq low pitch basic two side roof 1 story. Quoted 8gs and looked at quote he quoted for 12sq meaning upon accepting price would have gone up..... Ive worked as a loborer doing roofs and my roof would be a 1 day job for two giys 7-10 hrs each.... Meaning just on labor they were gonna charge me 5gs.... For 14-20 labor hours. Thats about $400 an hour per man per hour. Beware if you have a simple roof. These companies are known to tack on an extra couple grand for small jobs. Look up your type of home. Look up materials needed, ect. I already got a quote from a licensed insured small business for 4,900 and i get large known companies are more but thats RIDICULOUS.

  An update to their response: THERE WAS NO INSPECTION! The only reason you sent Chris out was to do an upsell for a total replacement. If there was any intention to do a repair, he would have been on the roof doing an actual inspection like other very reputable contractors did. This company is shady and unprofessional and I would suggest going elsewhere if you want an honest inspection. Super disappointed in this company. I called for a roof repair because we could not afford a full replacement right now. They send out a guy named Christian who says he is their expert repair person but doesn't even get up onto the roof to see what is possibly wrong. He just stood on the lawn and said because of the type of shingles they would not repair whatever is wrong and would only do a full replacement. What a shady company. I will not use them as planned for the other property we have where we need a full replacement as I do not believe they are trustworthy at all. I have other companies who will do a full inspection on the roof and do the repair as we asked. I am super surprised at this company since they were recommended to us but clearly that assessment was wrong. It is shocking he did not even go up to the roof to take a look. Incredible!

  I called Rapid Roofing for a potential service, but my experience was shockingly unprofessional. The person who answered the phone greeted me with a rude and sarcastic ‘hello,’ which immediately set a negative tone. When I hung up and tried calling back to speak with someone else, I discovered that I had been blocked—without any reason or explanation. This kind of customer service is completely unacceptable. If this is how they treat potential customers, I can only imagine how they handle actual roofing jobs. I would not recommend this company to anyone looking for professionalism and respect.

  Rapid Roofing is a very DISHONEST company. I hate writing this review, but I feel I have to warn other unsuspecting people. Although to an untrained eye, our new roof from Rapid Roofing at the time looked good, but now after only 9 years this roof has become a nightmare. This roof is so bad that it’s going to cost about 3X the cost of the original project to fix! The first problem we noticed was 2 severe watermarks in our family room, which are up to 6 now. After giving up dealing with Rapid Roofing, we hired a professional home inspector. Upon their inspection of the family room and roof, it was discovered, for starters, that Rapid Roofing clearly gave us 1/3 the ice and water shield than what we were quoted for and what we paid for. This inspector’s 37-page report went on to cite at least 8 additional serious roofing problems including lifted shingles, exposed nails, improper finishing around pipes and chimneys, depressed ridge vent, etc., etc., etc. Things got worse. Upon further inspection by another professional inspector, we discovered widespread mold in the attic which he said was undoubtedly caused by grossly inadequate venting. There were even drops of water at the end of rusty nails all over the attic. It’s a disaster. The roof needs to be completely taken off including the wood. Now, dealing with Rapid Roofing to address these issues has also been a nightmare. Their president set the pace by denying we were even a customer. Only when I threatened legal action to their receptionist did he finally return my call. When their customer service inspector eventually came out, he actually admitted that there was a big problem up there and that they [Rapid Roofing] blew it this time. He caulked about 10 different shingles at the time. I wished I had recorded his verbal summary. He assured me that this issue is completely covered by our warranty and they will get it fixed properly, either by them or by GAF (the product manufacturer). He said that he will write

  The quote process was very thorough and complete. The price was fair based on the work done and in comparison to three other quotes we received. The project was completed in one day and the crew cleaned up the site completely. I would highly recommend Rapid Roofing to anyone looking for a new roof.

  The roof install is actually pretty good so this criticism doesn't speak to the quality of work up top, more the customer experience. Our contact was initially really great with communication and responsiveness but after being told that there were pictures of the install, I had asked multiple times to see them and after the final payment was made, every text, call and email was ignored and I never saw the pictures. So, a little disappointed there. Additionally, a year later I discovered that there is significant water damage/wood rot over the vinyl soffit under the Northeast corner of our roof. To be fair, some of it was hidden under the fascia and gutter and was not part of the scope of work for the roof itself, but certainly the crew would have noticed that the water damage went well below the decking when they removed old decking and added new and It would have been great to be informed of this at that time (or simply shared pics, so I could see how bad it was) so we could address it at the same time. So, not a terrible experience and the roof itself looks good and seems to be a good quality install but a little disappointed that this wasn't pointed out.

  Austin arrived on time and was very professional in his presentation of the scope of the inspection he was going to do. When he was done, he was very patient waiting until I was available, due to other things going on that same day. He explained the estimate and my options thoroughly. Brent, Dylan, Russ and Jesse were very diligant in assessing and correcting the problem, and restoring my peace of mind.
