  Would not recommend. Terrible experience and left trash on my property.

  Josh (owner) contacted my husband about getting a new roof through his new company Rankin Roofing multiple times until my husband finally agreed. It was the worst experience we’ve ever had with someone who my husband has known for about 20 yrs. Josh’s employees nailed a hole through our water line and the cost to fix that was over $10K, as water ruined our master bathroom, master bedroom, and master closet. Mind you we left for a much needed vacation as Josh and his employees started on our roof, only for us to come back from vacation to our house completely ruined! For someone who my husband considered a friend, to BEG us to let his new company redo our roof and take us through hell for repairs on a mistake on his part is absolutely disgusting to say the least. A longtime friendship down the drain because a “friend” did the least to help us fix his and his companies mistake. BEWARE!

  Dear Anna G, On behalf of Rankin Roofing & Solar and owner, Josh, we express our sincere apologies for the unfortunate water line incident that happened while your roof was being replaced. We completely understand this was a stressful situation, particularly as you were returning home from vacation and working on a sleep schedule with your young children. As soon as you made our company aware of the leak, we immediately addressed it, repaired it, and provided drying equipment. It is equally disheartening that this situation has also affected a long-standing friendship with your husband and our owner, especially since our crew hit a water line that was improperly installed out of code by the builder and there should have been a nail plate installed with it being ran that close to the roof deck. Our company, and our partners, are committed to making things right, which is why we took full financial responsibility for the interior damage and offered to complete the work. Upon your refusal to let us do the work, we provided you and your husband with the written estimates, contact information for our subcontractors, wrote off your balance owed to our company and an additional check to cover the difference for those expenses. Please know that our company and partners take your personal frustration seriously and we believed this situation came to a fair resolution on the date of the signed letter, September 6th, 2022. So, we were blindsided nearly 8 months later on a Friday evening, April 28th at 9:21pm, when you and your husband simultaneously wrote 1-star reviews acutely slandering our owner, Josh. We sent the letter your husband signed stating his agreement to settle the matter for repairs and that no further action may be taken between the parties, and furthermore no negative reviews are to be made in regards to Rankin Roofing & Solar, nor any of its members and the cashed check to Google and they removed your husband’s review under their policy violation f

  Josh and his company are fantastic! Totally professional, quick, reliable, and work well with insurance companies. From start to finish, this was a completely wonderful experience and I would recommend Rankin Roofing to anyone and everyone!! Hire them today!!

  I recently had my roof replaced by Rankin Roofing and Solar. I couldn't be happier. They completed the installation in one day. There was no mess when they were done - they kept thìngs tidy. I really appreciate that every time I called, someone answered. Same with text messages - quick responses everytime. It is always a plus when contractors deal with the insurance company so that I don’t have to. They didn’t disappoint. Great job!
