  Would NOT recommend. Low-Quality Work and distrust. We had a negative experience with Raneri & Long. After researching companies and receiving several quotes we settled on Raneri & Long. Everything was fine until the work started. Attempts to cut corners were made by installing a new roof over dry-rotted and damaged wood—even though the estimate clearly stated that replacing damaged wood was mandatory. Communication was lacking during the installation and there was not onsite project manager as stated. I personally inspected the work each day identifying several discrepancies with the work. This was chalked up to a “language barrier” and a “miscommunication”. The dry rotted and damaged wood was ultimately replaced, but it was because I inspected the installation job myself. To make the experience worse, the roof leaked in the garage during the last rainstorms a few weeks ago. They came and made repairs, however, the leak should have never happened on a brand new install. The gutter installation was shoddy and sloppy. There are several scratches and globs of sealant which I was told “the bigger the blob the better the job”. When expressing our concerns with the owner we were met with childish push back and told “you’ve never made a mistake?” Well not a $30k mistake. I strongly advise anyone considering Raneri & Long to think twice. The work is shoddy and low quality.

  I call last week to set up and appointment and they call me the to re schedule due to the appraisal had and emergency and re schedule. Tuesday Feb 1 I called them again since my appointment was at 100 am and was 1030 no one show up and a person call me that he was on his way and ask me if we are going to replace the whole roof. We have only a minor leak in 2 areas and he told me that the don't do repairs per the owner they only do a whole roof repair , I told him what a waste of time whey they didn't tell me that when i called last week my advised do not call them or do business with them

  While going down our road this morning the worker in the flat bed truck was half way in our lane and we waited until he moved over so we could pass. When finally passing by him he flipped us off. I called and reported him to the office. We hope he gets reprimanded.

  Work was professionally done, they worked extensively to remove all the damaged wood and re-installed the tiles. I am very happy with the result. I own 4 properties in this area and I’m happy to find a roofing company I can work with.

  It looks very nice, but I will have to wait until I actually get a lot of rain before I can say how well it is done. There is a 10 year warranty. The repairmen were all extremely professional, respectful of me and my property, and additionally kind. Very unusual in today's world. The work was done in a timely manner and they kept the job site very clean and orderly. The salesman was laid-back, and answered all my questions, probably twice. 🙄 😊 And very important, he bid the work I requested and didn't try to sell me stuff I don't need. They could have kept me more informed as to when the work would be done. Scheduling wasn't great, but it all worked out. I recommend Raneri for roof and solar work. You can barely tell the old from the new. Susan C

  I had my 20+ year old roof replaced. Very satisfied with this company's workmanship. The roofers worked very hard and were very accommodating to the care of my property, which had a swimming pool very near the roof repair area. This job included the removal and reinstallation of my regular solar panels and a pool solar tubing system; after the roof replacement, they reinstalled the pool solar tubing (even conducted some repairs) and solar panels without any issues. Recommend them.
