  Not about the company but more so the labour's common sense and courtesy towards tenants. During roof replacement we had a vent temporary removed directly over the kitchen area. No measure were taken to cover the 10" hole during the entire process. Nails, tar, dust, roofing pieces raining down the kitchen. As the saying goes, looks good from my house! Be prepared to do your own sealing of exposed holes and temporary missing covers because no measures were taken by workers to ensure the cleanliness or safety of occupied units. Manager was helpful to an extent by offering cleaning inside, but I don't want strangers in my home for something that could have been easily prevented and should be common sense.

  We apologize for the mess that was made and understand your hesitation to have strangers in your home to remedy the problem. Just for some context, the vent was originally covered to prevent debris from falling down during the tear off and roof prep portion of the install. When we went to install the first layer of roofing on the second day of work, the cover was temporarily removed so we could install the base layer over that area. This base layer is installed by nailing. When we were nailing above your vent area, the vibrations from the hammer contacting the wood must have caused some debris to dislodged from the surrounding opening and fall down. We again apologize for the mess that was made and hope to better serve in the future!

  Tom, There are so many misstatements (I won't call them lies because I don't like to disrespect people like that) in your reply that I don't know where to start. I don't like the he said, she said, and going back and forth but feel obligated to respond . I had only once mentioned anything about a discount which you stated that you would think about it. That was the entire extend of our conversation about pricing. once in the 9 months that we have been in contact! the question I had was not about the contract or price, but it was about coordination with the Solar company that you indicated verbally that you would coordinate with. The contract did not mention anything about that. I didn't want us to start and not have resources available from the solar company. it was never about prices. when you responded to me after my vacation, you flat out told me that you will not be doing my roof and it was only after I sent a text stating how surprised I was that you send a reply saying you have no availability until late October (not in August). these are your words not mine! I could go on and on, but I think the point is well made. I needed to replace my roof due to the fact that the roof was old and we continued to have leaks. I contacted a few Roofing companies and decided to go with Ford Roofing. My experience during the selling process was pleasant and I found TJ to be responsive and he certainly knows roofing. However, once we decided we wanted to go forward with Ford Roofing, we continuously run into scheduling issues. Tom would inform us that due to rain and other situations, our installation will have to be delayed. This went on for a few months and once we started seeing more sunny days he informed me that our place in line will be another 3 months out! Despite having other alternatives, we stayed with Tom since we felt that we had made a commitment already. During the rainy months, Tom indicated that he would come and put some tarp on the house so to at least preve

  To whom it may concern: As many people know, this last winter was the wettest, San Diego has seen in the last 20 years. I did my best to help during the winter months since we were unable to do any large projects given the severity of the rain. After months talking, picking tile, and deciding what roofing system to install, I asked for the contract to be signed at the price we had been discussing over the winter months. When it came time to sign, the client attempted to negotiate a lowering of the price by a couple thousand dollars. I was told to think it over and then we would sign the contract. I agreed to the new price and sent multiple requests to sign the proposal. I ordered the tile that we had agreed upon and set up an installation date for late June. Days before the expected start date there was still no signed contract and the client was unresponsive. When I finally heard back, I had already moved my schedule to fill the previously allotted slot. I offered to do the job in late August, but was told this would not do. I understand and sympathize with the discontent, felt by both parties during this whole process, however, given the lack of a signed contract and unresponsiveness, I decided to pass on the job.

  Delt what's the owner son. He was a real straight shooter. Honest workers that were here were careful and thorough. I was especially impressed with the carpenter that replaced the roof tails. He didn't exceptional job. They left the job site clean as if they had never been here. I would highly recommend them.

  Had a really good experience with Ford Roofing. They repaired a section of my roof, replaced some broken tiles, and fixed the underlayment. The crew was professional, showed up on time, and explained everything clearly. Work was done efficiently and they cleaned up well after. The repair looks solid and they provided a warranty too. Definitely recommend them if you need roof work.

  Contractor removed and replaced damaged wood fascia and caulked roof vents. All work was done properly, on time, and for a reasonable price. Would use them again for roofing work.
