Edit** I never change reviews because I don't believe in being bought. However Stockton reached out to me and had a personal tragedy which led to the late communication. He came and swapped some roof tiles for free to make it up to me. I can't do 5 stars because the odd communication stuff before that and they might be doing some more work on our place so I'll see how everything goes and keep this review updated. I put in for an estimate for some work I wanted done on my place. I saw R1 had good reviews, which is why I picked them. However, it was hard to get the appointment scheduled in the first place. I had one number text me and tell me Gino was going to reach out, then Stockton reached out, and Gino as well. So at one point I was talking to 3 different phone numbers who were all telling me different times. Eventually I got something set with Stockton. I'm not a review bomber, so I didn't really care about the weird communication, and Stockton seemed like a stand up guy. I was willing to put that aside and continue with these guys. He walked around my place and said R1 could help me out and they would have an estimate to me within an hour. Trouble is, the estimate never came, and they ghosted me. I still gave the benefit of the doubt, even after waiting two weeks, and messaged asking for the estimate. I still got no reply. I don't like being lied to or ignored, and know if I can't trust these guys to send an estimate, I definitely wouldn't trust them with my roof. Maybe the reviews were bought or just family/friends. I don't know for sure, but I did not recieve the 5 star treatment everyone else did.

I live in Cedar City on a hill where we get some intense wind. One night we had a storm that blew siding off our house. One siding piece was nowhere to be found. I planned to repair it myself, but I put off the job for a long time. I suppose I wasn’t too excited about doing a repair job that was 25 feet off the ground. Someone referred me to Stockton with R1 Roofing & Exteriors. He obtained a siding piece that was an exact match, repaired all the siding, and secured it well so that future wind storms would make it extremely unlikely to ever blow off again. He provided a very reasonable price for his services, and he was always pleasant and communicated well with us about everything. For any future siding needs, we will be calling Stockton at R1 Roofing & Exteriors. Thank you, Stockton!
