  Beware. Charged me 5000.00 over the initial price. Refused to let me make payments then sued me for my house. Their lawyer was nasty rude and insulting wound up having to take out a mortgage. And having to pay lawers fees and interest. Costing me almost 20000.00.

  Hello Ms. Doucette, We are sorry you are upset about the cost of the roof, however you did sign a contract stating that any extra wood that is required to be replaced would be extra and that is the extra cost you are referring to, you did receive state funds to pay for the rest of your roof and this is the only amount you owed to us. You refused to pay and we are not a bank we are unable to take payments unless that is something that is pre-arranged which it was not in your case you ignored us for months and refused to pay your bill, so like any contractor has the right to do we pushed the lien. We are a small family-owned company that relies on their customers to pay so that we are able to keep our bills paid as well as our hard-working employees. There is nothing wrong with your roof we did a good job and carried out what was in the contract we expect our customers to do the same. Please stop bullying us and saying we are in the wrong obviously a judge felt we were in the right per our contract.

  Giving Ernest five stars. Your company is deceitful and my TWO YEAR OLD ROOF needs completely replaced. RUN FROM THIS COMPANY. i will give your company one more chance to correct this work before i consult an attorney! It will certainly be cheaper than a new roof. Update we equested to speak with owner, no response. Requested copy of warranty, no response.

  So sorry to hear you feel that way, we have done everything we can to fix the issue however we have had 3 people go out including the owner and all state there is nothing wrong with the roof that the issue is your siding. The roof passed inspection there is no issues with the roof. We have gone above and beyond and tried to give you some flashing to help divert the water away from the issue areas to help you out.

  We are so sorry to hear that you are unhappy, we have done our best to make you as happy as can be. The imperfections in the roof we tried to change out and then we had the manufacturer come out and he said the same thing we said which is that the trusses are not square so there is nothing we can do as the roofer to address that. So we took off $3,000 of the total bill which is our entire profit. Then you said you had a leak and we had a man out the very next day to fix it and he did. Then you stated you had a stain in the bathroom and we said we would send out our drywall repair guy to fix the stain. You made it difficult for him to meet up with you and he said he could fix it the same day and you asked him to paint the entire ceiling. Now you are writing a bad review because we wouldn't give you yet another $200 off the roof. So we did not refuse to fix the water stain we did our best to make you happy. We were also told by the drywall guy that you were already re-doing your entire bathroom. There are just some people you can't make happy. We do our best and strive to make every customer happy but that can't always happen. Hope you have a great day!

  Hiring PJ Roofing was a mistake I wish I could take back. We originally hired them to replace our roof shortly after purchasing our home. We paid for a clean wind mitigation, as was laid out in our contract. The job was completed in a timely manner, however their communication when accepting payment and getting the permit signed off was poor, requiring numerous phone calls to complete. They did not, in fact deliver a clean wind mitigation despite their promises. They also did not clean up the roofing nails which punctured our riding lawn mower tire. Additionally, they left a jacket over our chimney, which I thankfully found before we had issues. One year later, when applying for new home insurance, our inspector informed us the secondary roof had never been replaced as we requested. We contacted PJ Roofing who had no idea why that roof was not replaced, agreeing it was an oversight on their part. They offered to replace the secondary roof at cost on relatively short notice. However, the job was scheduled to be completed on a Saturday and there was no communication until the following Monday. The job was still not completed until Wednesday. We were never given the option on colors so our roof doesn't remotely match. Communication was poor throughout this experience requiring multiple phone calls on my end which were usually answered with "I don't know" or "Sorry, the person who deals with that left for the day." Following this job we found approximately 20 roofing nails scattered around the entire house, one of which again punctured our lawn mower tire. My wife and myself both stepped on roofing nails at some point over the next week or two. When we informed them, they stated it was their policy to always do a sweep of the yard prior to completing the job. I am certain this was never completed because our dogs were in the backyard the entire time and we were never asked to move them. When they did sweep the yard they found another dozen or so nails.   The original estimate request was for a pitched roof only , we apologize that 12 nails were found. We also found 12 more out of 18,000 nails which is .0013% of what could've been found. We did come out and run a magnet after the roof was completed and are sorry for the nail in the tire.. We will gladly give you money for the tire but we were never notified about it. For the secondary roof which was not apart of the contract we charged you at cost. We do apologize for not showing up on Saturday because the crew got sick and did not tell us so we assumed it was done but did it 3 days later. The 4 square flat deck that would've costed $2000 we only charged $500 to make good faith and the realtor for the miscommunication. Inspection was scheduled but that would fall on the building dept. We didn't take any money because in the contract it states money due on completion not finalization of the permit. We weren't notified of a clean mitigation so we are unclear as to what your are talking about. As colors goes, you were more worried about passing inspection and had to get what was available and was fine with the color at the time.

  As a General Contractor, having subcontractors you can truly rely on is incredibly important, and I’ve been working with this company for over 10 years. They consistently show up when they say they will, do quality work, and are always professional and easy to work with.   They did an awesome job. From Patty in the office, to the men doing the roof. Everyone treated me right. Patty could answer any question, she made sure I knew a couple days ahead of time everything I needed to know. They delivered the material, you could hear the truck, but still knocked on the door before pulling in the driveway, to ask if it was ok. Everyone I dealt with was pleasant, knew exactly what I needed to know, and always respectful. They also did a great job with clean up. Just a much better experience than you might think. Very professional from Patty in the office to everyone at my home. I went through a grant program, Patty knew the program and was able to help me every time I asked. Look this is a big deal, it's expensive, it's not something most of us know about. So when there is someone that can & will help it's so much easier. Also they did have the best estimate. That roof get's opened there isn't any going back. They walked the roof, told me best they could about the condition of the wood, and was very accurate. If your looking at a roof, reach out to these people. They are what you want a contractor to be.

  I can not say enough about the service I received at PJ Roofing. When I needed the roofs replaced at a property that I had for sale and under contract, they came to my office for me to sign off on the permits and pick the roof color. They scheduled me within two weeks and had my roof (and three detached buildings on the property) done within two days. And to top it off - they allowed me to pay them out of the proceeds of the house sale at closing! No mess, no surprises. Very grateful to PJ and the team!
