  They didn't even want to look at my roof to consider repairs they just want to fear monger you into getting an entire new roof. Unfortunately some people can not afford new roofs and more companies should be less greedy and work with …

  After actually seeing the roof, it was a somewhat sloppy job. Many shingles were curled up, inviting rodents to enter. Apparently the crew threw it up there in record time! The property was not properly cleaned for nails and debris, and a caretaker got a flat tire as a result. Extremely unprofessional "lunch" by the crew, grilling a chicken under a tree at the neighbors- without permission - and subsequently dumping the bones in their yard (with two dogs at risk)! I spoke with the agent from Alan's who was my contact. After initially telling me that his supervisor and the county had come and approved the new roof, he inspected the roof himself. He was not happy with the condition, and especially the grilled luncheon, and said he would make a full report (though I never saw anything.) I wrote my own letter to him, and the owner, stating my dissatisfaction, and intent to hold partial payment until the roof was remediated as it should appear. Three weeks later I was back down, and indeed the roof looked better, though not great. My contact assured me that with warmer weather, the shingles would flatten on their own. I took his word for it, submitted final payment, and consider the job complete. Throughout, my contact was courteous and responsive - hence the revised two stars. I cannot in good faith recommend them. (original post below) They did a very nice job of replacing the roof. Pricing was clear and market appropriate, they took care of permitting, and did a good job of cleaning up afterwards, minus some roof nails. Communication was generally very good, although lacking at times. I would certainly recommend them should you need a new roof.

  Roof looks great. Facia repairs and drip edge are horrible, fixing them myself after Alans sent someone out to fix. Super never came back out or called to see if job was corrected. Make sure you check to see what supply co. they are using. SRS shattered driveway in three spots. Alans washed there hands of the situation and SRS is very rude and said that they aren't liable. Still waiting for call back from owner which secretary said he would. Overall I wish I used someone else. Will give typical answer “please contact us” funny that you have our numbers and never reached out

  received estimate for metal roofing and the quote was WAY out of line compared to rest of companies I received quote from. I mean like 40k over priced. Complete ripoff.

  Not a happy customer. I asked questions and got questions back. Youtube video tomorrow.. Most of the people here who are saying it was a "wonderful job" or "looks great", well, when are new roof shingles not looking great???? I will bet most of you don't have any clue what they used for an underlayment. Which is so critical. "And how many here have the free lifetime warranty?" How many were overcharged for wood replacement, and what type of plywood did they use........? Licinda has a leak. They responded with give us a call. Seriously? Why dont you call her? It's your work? 2 stars only, because, well, of course new shingles look good.

  Delivered shingles 3 weeks before they started the job when I had any questions or needed answers they would never answer the phone and when they did they were rude and disrespectful when the job was done the roof had soft spots some areas were damaged and when the inspector came didn't even get on the roof and just tried to pass inspection and where they only overpriced and very high priced but when the job is done they will add almost $1,000 if not more to your bill saying they added and used more wood than usual stay away from these people

  John, our very professional and knowledgeable sales representive, offered us very competitive pricing without sales pressure. He clearly explained the time-frame of the complete process and was able to answer all of our questions and concerns. They did a fantastic job of replacing my entire roof in a timely fashion while at the same time protecting all the shubs around the house, and when they were finished they cleaned up EVERYTHING. I would give this company six stars if it was available. Tedd J.

  I had numerous estimates for a Sunroom pan roof leak repair. Alan's was very knowledgeable and gave me my choices, the cost, and what to expect. They understood my budget and were kind enough to work with me. They gave me a reasonable price. They did the work when they scheduled and returned calls when I had questions.

  From start to finish Alan's Roofing is the best! A special thank you to Kenneth Bonnett, project manager, who answered all my questions and concerns and was always a phone call away. Thank You to the team of roofers who got the job done in one day and did it right. A special thumbs up to John Ostrom, superintendent who went the extra mile to made sure everything was perfect, I was happy and my roof would pass inspection. I love my new roof.
