Had someone come out to measure our slider and find out if it had to be replaced or if they could just fix the stationary part since the glass was broken. The guy that came out said he would get back to us and we never heard anything from them. I even placed a follow up call and still nothing. If it was something they couldn’t handle or do, all they had to do was tell us that. No way to treat a potential customer and someone who has purchased plenty of windows in the past from them.

    Reply from the business

Patrick, First, thank you for being a loyal customer of ours over the years! We really do value your past business with us and apologize for the frustration you have experienced regarding your slider. It appears there was a misunderstanding during the assessment and we apologize for the delay in communication as we awaited information to be made available to us. Your sunroom is a 2” wall system from about 20 years ago, given the time since that installation, we would learn it contained now obsolete parts. Unfortunately, the manufacturer no longer makes replacement parts available to us for that stationary glass. Which means that the only option available to resolve this specific issue with the slider is to replacement of that system. We want to make sure everything was clearly explained and understood and have reached out to more personally clarify the situation. Regardless, we do appreciate your feedback. It will help us improve our communication standards. If you have any further concerns or questions, please don't hesitate to call us directly. -The Peoria Siding & Window Team

The woman who answers the phone was rude and terrible maybe she’s having a bad day or what not but definitely not a recommend based on my call. We will look elsewhere it seemed like my call was an inconvenience for her.

    Reply from the business

Molly, This is certainly not how we wish for any customer of ours to feel after engaging with us. While we all are guilty of having bad days, those should not be felt by someone excited to begin their work with us. We welcome the opportunity to talk more and find out just what happened so that we can improve processes that may have led to that here. At this time, we simply lack the ability to take the information Google shares with us here to link back to our own records. If you are so willing, please send an email to: marketing@prairiehomealliance.com. Please include your contact details and one of our team members will reach out and do their best to make it worth your while! -The Peoria Siding & Window Team

This was by far the worst experience of my life hiring these clowns. I'll start off by saying do not trust these people everything is a lie they want your money and thats it. First day on job they cut my pool wire, there has been many issues, without my permission they even broke a corner of my concrete garage pad that I hired a company to pour only 5 years ago. All weather stripping and joist tape was a must guess what i paid for it but i didnt get it! I have text before any work begun I went kinda back through everything by text so i had it black and white after they tried dropping off wooden railings. They tried to rip me off on the vinyl railings that was another must, the porch not being wide enough that was another must, everything that i said was a must they tried or did take that from me. The porch they built is smaller then what I asked for. One railing is not up to code a toddler can go right through the railing and fall in pictures is the measurementsof gaps. There are stairs not to code some measurements 8". I went out every night after work with a head lamp to clean up there mess. They piled all there dirt up against my pool and refused to remove it i had to crawl under and dig dirt and mud laying on my chest mind you im 50 years old (getting a little old for that) They was drinking on job after my neighbor gave them alcohol without my permission. They damaged cut my pool cover. There are so many issues to go on about i dont have time right now. I am in process of filing a report with the BBB. Yesterday they came to house and wow I have never in my life seen or heard contractors act like this they was accusing me of stealing lumber, calling us liars they made my fiance start crying then wouldn't stop after she told them to stop. They ended up getting so out of control they quit the job and they are not even done with the porch there is still no railings on balcony knowing I have a autistic child in the house this is a very dangerous thing to do to us

Nicole - We take all customer feedback seriously, but we refuse to meet vitriol with anger of our own. We operate this business—and our lives—guided by a total commitment to integrity and honesty. With five decades of successful experience in this community, we have learned the stark difference that exists between a legitimate grievance and a complete fabrication. We hold ourselves to a standard of total truthfulness, one that we know this account sadly lacks. To be clear, we tirelessly work in a good and faithful way to resolve any customer issue, just as we attempted to do here. However, we will absolutely defend our employees against vicious character attacks, especially those that utilize baseless accusations and fictional evidence. Our records tell the complete story of this project—a story which disproves the claims presented above. As such, we stand firm in the truth we hold. We will not be swayed by false testimony, no matter how aggressively nor how public it may be presented. As you have requested, we will work to resolve this through the channels you have selected. Regardless, we wish you peace. Though we very much understand it can escape all of us at times. -The Peoria Siding & Window Team

We're very disappointed to learn of this interaction! It is definitely not representative of training or our reputation that has been built over nearly 50 years in business. We are still here to assist and make this right! We do need additional information as "Ali C" simply isn't enough to go off of for our records here to be able to audit. If you can, please email us at: marketing@peoriasiding.com. I will be sure to get your information in front of the right people here! -The Peoria Siding & Window Team

These people have WAY too much business. I called 4 times about a $4000 door (which was steep even though it was on sale) that i gave a $1500 deposit on 3 months ago and nobody called me back until I demanded a refund and threatened to file a consumer complaint with BBB. Then someone called me back with a condescending tone saying they could schedule installation in 2 weeks. No apology or acknowledgment that it was WAY late. Don’t give these guys any business.

Re sided a house that had wrap underneath from this company. Best guess is 1997. Either way good quality work only replacing due to age.

    Reply from the business

Joseph, This is perhaps the coolest 4 star review we may ever read and we definitely appreciate that you took the time to leave it! Getting 29 years out of your original exterior is a testament to the quality of the installation but also how you cared for your home. Some nerdy industry facts: Vinyl siding manufactured in the late 90s did not have the more advanced UV-resistant coatings or thick profiles of today's premium offerings that we now install. Having a 1997 installation continue to look good and function properly means it was a great product for its time! Also, if this years weather locally is any tell at all, we don't exactly live in what would be defined as a 'mild climate'. Most companies that push 25 year longevity highlight under "normal conditions." Simply, we've take a beating by mother nature in the midwest and continually experience the extremes of every season. The natural freeze and thaw cycle causes expansion and contraction, and installed wrong, will create chaos by letting moisture in. It is just so very cool to hear from a homeowner that got maximum ROI before replacement! We really hope you get the same performance out of your new siding, regardless if that was us or anyone else. Thanks for sharing! -The Peoria Siding & Window Team

UPDATE!! We had our doors replaced with them. The installers were professional and kept their worksites clean. We have an old house and due to some settling our front door became hard to open and shut. NOAH came out and was able to adjust it for us and now it's working beautifully. He was efficient and quick, extremely polite and explained everything he was doing. We love our new doors!! Susan was great to work with. She explained everything to us making sure we understood and had no questions. She showed us all our choices and made sure we were happy with them all. We aren't quite ready to have the job done but when we are we will definitely ask for Susan to be our sales person. She was very informative and helpful. She represented Peoria Siding very professionally.

Craig was great to work with answered all our questions and designed exactly what we were looking for. We can’t wait for our new sunroom this spring! ! Edit Unfortunately other situations with the company has made us wonder if we chose the right company to work with. It’s been 7 weeks No one has responded with a quote due to storm damage we received. No communications from company. Disappointing especially since we thought we had done our research and thought we found a company we could trust.
