  I called Blue Line and asked if they would be willing to rebuild my deck using Fiberon that I found a good deal on elsewhere, and they said yes and wanted to schedule an appointment for a quote. The guy came over and we discussed a quote for using my Fiberon vs a quote using their Trex. No problem at all, took pics and measurements. I also asked for a separate quote to fix the trim on my dormers, no problem at all. Shortly after, I got the quote. One single quote, for a *treated lumber* deck AND the dormer repairs... as a package deal, no exceptions. I never asked about treated lumber. The guy texted me and refused the dormer repair job if we don't want the deck that was incorrectly written up. He refuses to fix the quote to be what I asked for, won't fulfill the only reason i called in the first place, and he won't take a smaller job that I asked for separately. Absolutely diabolical customer relations, customer service, and gross incompetence. I'm sure the crews are awesome at what they do, I really liked the look of their finished jobs on here, but I will never support a company like that.

While we previously explained that we did not want to engage in an extended back and forth through text message, we would like to provide a brief summary of our understanding of the situation and move on. First, “the guy” who met with you for the estimate was the owner of Blue Line Roofing and Exteriors. During the consultation, he reviewed several decking and railing options with you, including treated wood decking, composite decking, wood railings, composite railings, and aluminum railings. He also showed you photos of these different combinations to help you make an informed decision. He also informed you the main deck had to be a total rebuild due to being previously built out of code, being structurally unsafe and could not have new decking/railings only installed like you inquired about. After discussing the available options, you selected treated wood decking with composite railings for the estimate. Composite decking was also discussed, but it appeared to be outside the budget you were looking to stay within. This is not uncommon, as we regularly design custom decks using a variety of materials to accommodate our customers’ budgets and preferences. During the consultation, you also asked about making a few minor repairs to your wood sided dormers. While these small repairs typically fall outside our normal scope of work, especially considering the distance to your home in Mackinaw, we offered to include them as an additional option while we were already on site completing the deck project, which we explained to you.   Do not hesitate to call BlueLine! They did a great job replacing my windows last year, so when my roof was damaged by a storm recently, I called them first for this emergency. I was worried that it would be difficult to reach them considering all of the local damage, but they got back to me right away. I worked with Caleb, and he went above and beyond to take care of everything. He was professional, knowledgeable, and seemed to genuinely love his job. He met with my insurance adjuster, and worked to get all of the damage covered. And Caleb had my roof and gutters repaired less than 24 hours after my adjuster had finished!   My neighbor suggested I call Blue Line - Peoria to get an estimate on a fascia repair I needed after the severe storm. I had contacted several contractors, but Blue Line was the only one that called back. The next day Drew and his team were on it. The work was completed, and they were on their way within minutes. They also did some repairs for my neighbor across the street before they headed out. He's very happy. These guys are great!

  Blue Line Roofing is the best. They were set to do the roof in the near future, but when we realized that it was leaking they came out with in a couple days. They did the roof in one day and kept us informed of any issues that they came into. They were respectful, not only did they do an excellent job and it looks beautiful, they left our property in better condition than it was when they left. Finally they had the best pricing! We highly recommend using them!!!

  I can’t say enough good things about Blue Line! 💙 During a major rainstorm, my house started getting water in an area where it definitely wasn’t supposed to be. I reached out, and Jerrid personally came out to take a look and help figure out what was going on.
