  I got my roof done last year march and had leaks and mold all over by early 2026. When I called Penyak they used insurance lingo and called it “act of god” and when I got it inspected by my insurance company and a third party roofers, they said it was workmanship issue. Now I am stuck, down with a cost of the roof plus will have to get a new roof. Just FYI- don’t count on their insurance or 10 years guarantee as it is only for the damages caused by the leaks and not the cause itself. Such a headache dealing with all this. Will never recommend.

  Penyak was very unprofessional and delayed finishing our job for days. Our phone calls were ignored. During this delay it rained hard and we were worried about water damage. When the job was eventually finished we were not given any paperwork with warranty information even though it was supposed to be provided to us. Please do not use Penyak. They make false promises and delay jobs unnecessarily. RESPONSE TO OWNER JOE PENYAK: This is a real review. Your staff were very condescending and borderline threatening. I don't think you can do anything about it now. Back then I asked several times to speak to the owner, which was denied.

  Mr. Penyak did not install my ridge vent correctly and the only reason why he came to resolve my issue was because I didn’t pay him yet for the roofing job! Then my gutters were overflowing with water I found big sharp rocks in the gutters he showed me the gutter guards in his shop I decided to pay the owner in full never finished my gutter guards stay away from this business they do shoddy work!!!

  I have used Penyak in the past but unfortunately I can no longer recommend this company. After paying multiple times to have the same leak fixed, they did not offer any discounts on repairs. The last straw was when they said I will need to replace a portion of my roof to fix the leak, they replaced the roof and the leak returned on the next rain storm. They eventually discovered the leak was due to a clogged gutter but still held me responsible for the full payment of the new roof I did not need. On top of that the crew left nails in the driveway and needed to come back to make additional repairs to match the original look of the house.

  Girish, we explained to you that we would gladly take the metal off and remove it from your bill. You still have not paid for your roof bill which is thousands of dollars. Our office has been in complete communication with you throughout the last few weeks and it’s not fair for you not to pay for the additional work that was done. If you do not want the metal, we can simply remove it and take it off you bill. This has been explained to you many times verbally and via email. Tell us what you would like to do. Posting a second negative review online after your wife did is not fair considering we have been in regular communication with you and are waiting for you to tell us if you want us to take the metal off or not but if you’re going to keep the metal on, it is not fair for you not to pay for it. Do you want us to take it off? There is no misunderstandings. We did what was on your contract. We do not paint wood. That’s why it says “primed wood” on your contract. We provided three different options and are waiting for which option you would like to proceed with. Jessica

  Horrible service and the staff have limited info. Once the initial deposit was given, it took them sometime to get the permit for which following up with the office was a bad experience. The scheduling for actual work was supposed to be on the holiday weekend so we changed our plans and reserved parking. But no one turn up and on Monday morning workers come line up as we rush to office. They took 7 hours and had to tell 3 times to clean the yard properly. These people just did the roof. Then someone else came a week later removed the gutters, installed rake boards. No one came for next few days to install new gutters. So many follow ups and the office says they will call back and no one calls back. For chimney cap, discussion and follow ups still going on. And the nails are still there in our yard because the gutter guys left without cleaning the yard. The office staff and their team is not well aligned, and lot of communication gap so it’s hard to follow up every time there is a new person to pick up calls.

  Kelly. This chimney has been leaking for years. We came and flashed it for a second time We came several times and waterproof the chimney itself, and your husband said it slowed down. We covered the chimney with plastic and with a four day rain not a drop in the house. Your husband told me that. I met your husband and we went on the roof together on April 24, 2024. Since no one believes us we are meeting your husband this week with a hose to make it leak. If it is a roof issue, of course we will fix it, if it is a chimney issue, I told your husband I will help him. Every time we were emailed, texted messaged, called, in Call on my cell we returned every single one. I’m trying to help you and I don’t think I deserve this one star Review. You can always put it back so I’m asking you to remove it for now.

  I wanted to take a moment to share my experience with Nicholas and his crew. From start to finish, they were friendly, respectful, and professional. They did an excellent job, and it was clear they took pride in their work. The price was fair and competitive, and I felt I received great value for the quality of service provided. When the job was complete, they made sure to thoroughly clean up the property, leaving everything neat and in excellent condition. I am very satisfied with the entire experience and would highly recommend this company to anyone looking for quality work, fair pricing, and outstanding customer service. I would not hesitate to use them again in the future.

  One of a kind roofing! The quality of work stands out, and they strictly adhered to the timeline. The team's coordination was great throughout the process. Without even asking for a deposit, they had the shingles delivered and ready to install on my driveway. They even reinstalled my holiday lights since my older roof had them. I am more than happy and definitely recommend them!

  Roofers did an excellent job in summer heat and cleaned up as promised 👏The office team was great with scheduling and texts. We have used Penyak in the past and we're always pleased with the work. This job was covering garage door framing with aluminum.

  Great experience. Good quote with many options to choose. You have roofing product choices. I chose 130 mph high wind rated roof for a nominal increase of a few hundred dollars. The installation was done fast with good clean up. I would choose Penyak again for future jobs.

  We have been using Penyak Roofing across three homes and more than two decades. Their work is always exemplary. Most recently Rudy responded to a request for gutter cleaning. He hand cleaned the gutters as they were wet and clogged. In addition he checked and cleaned the downspouts as several were blocked. He bagged the debris as he worked leaving the worksite immaculately clean. Rudy was friendly and a consummate professional. We will never use anyone else for our roofing needs and highly recommend Penyak Roofing regularly.

  This is my 2nd time posting for this company. This time during a heavy rain storm,my gutters were overflowing water from a blockage. I called Penyak as they put the roof on my house 6 years ago, they actually remembered me and sent someone over immediately and went up and found a birds nest had clogged the leader. One call and problem solved. Thanks to Joe Penyak and his guys again! I definitely recommend this company as they are real pros.
