We needed a roof replacement after the hail. We chose Patriot for their great reviews. Our issues with them are extensive, so this may be long, but factual. We feel it a public service to let others know how this has been handled. -Deposited/force payment of the almost $24k deposit check early even though it was in our contract not to deposit until a certain date. Thankfully our bank is great and it all worked out. -10 year old son witnessed a crew member urinating on the side of our home. Tyson’s response was that we should have known to tell them not to do that since we live in a rural area. However, there are many kids in this neighborhood. -Crew was drinking on the job. -Incorrect fasteners used and failure to fasten to every Purlin. Many fasteners completely missed any structural framing. -Missing many fasteners and inconsistent spacing. -Extensive surface scratches throughout entire roof, voiding manufacture warranty. -We were reassured many times we would get the same quality metal we had. Previously had R panel galvanized 26 gauge. They installed 29 gauge corrugated. -Jake did ask us to pick a color (had white before) and I confirmed it was ok and would not affect price. Never told different quality of metal or we would have declined. -No eave trim or drip edge and no closure strips on eaves, but they were in our contract. -Almost every screw overtightened, further damaging the metal and the rubber washer seals. -July 10th, Tyson, Jake and two others came out to inspect the job. Tyson was repeatedly yelled at my husband and called our home a pole barn, stating it didn't need a better roof. (Barndominium and it is our home). -Tyson angrily asked my husband why he didn’t do the roof himself. (Large roof, need crew, not one man) -Left without giving us a chance to show the damage their crew did to our home. A fence was ripped of the side of the house so they didn’t have to walk around the house and inside ceiling is cracked from a man jumping down into our atti

I was walking down our street and noticed a Patriot Roofing wrapped truck at one of our neighbors houses. Tyson was giving a bid to a few different neighbors after our hail storms from the previous month. I called out and asked if he could come inspect our roof as well, and he was there within twenty minutes. We knew we needed a new roof because of it's age (approximately 30+ years) and some leaking issues were starting to surface. Tyson stayed at our house that day for quite a while and answered every question and concern that we had, even though I know he had other appointments to go to that day. Our new roof was finished within three weeks, as well as a new roof on our shed and new gutter guards. Tyson and Curtis were so professional, respectful, prompt with their responses, and they just made everything such a smooth process. I highly recommend them for any of your roofing needs!
