  I chose OverTheTop because of many positive reviews here. Unfortunately,I had a really terrible experience with Chris today. His fast service cannot be denied. However, I don’t think he has done all the jobs as he left a couple of lifted shingles hasn’t been taken care of (picture attached). So I called and told him that I couldn’t pay him for the full price due to the lifted shingles. But Chris doesn’t agree on that. He thought he had done all he needed to do. And those lifted shingles are unnecessary repairs. He sent me google photo of my place from September 2018, showing that the lifted shingles are still in the same condition until now, and kept saying “Those shingles are fine.” When I insisted that I want them to be fixed as it should look like, then Chris questioned me... “Are you a roofer?? I have been doing roofing for 13 years”... Right. I’m NOT a professional roofer. But I know what a normal shingle should look like - NOT being lifted. So Chris said there would be an additional charge if I want to fix it, extra $200 (msg history attached ). During the whole conversation, I respected what he said and I was calm, but Chris thinks I was arguing with him. No...I never raised my voice and was just trying to discuss and solve the problem...but... Two options Chris finally offered: 1. Ripe off all the fixed shingles he did today - No Charge. 2. OR Pay extra $200 to repair the lifted shingles. Fine. I paid for FULL quoted price eventually as it makes no sense to ripe off all the fixed shingles... ————————————————————- Hi Chris, Thank you for your rely. In this review, I am giving my objective opinion on my experience. Right. I appreciated your quick service. However, it does NOT mean that my entire experience with your service was pleased. I'm sorry if you've now changed your mind on the matter but a discussion could have been had when you personally handed me the payment. This review is inaccurate and extremely misleading.   Spoke to Chris, on two different occasions and booked an appointment to get a quote on my roof. He did not show up, nor did he call to re-schedule. If this is the type of service you get before you hire him, my question would be what kind of service would you receive during and after. Very disappointing!

  I apologize if I was unable to give you a quote. There must of been some sort of misunderstanding; I would never miss a scheduled appointment. It is disappointing that you would question my workmanship and unfortunate that we were unable to do business.

  My daughter in law’s grandmother was scammed out of ten grand by a so called roofing company. They demanded cash and then proceeded to rip almost her entire roof apart including the plywood. They then left her with an unfinished and open roof and did not come back. I called this company and spoke to Chris. It was late on a Friday afternoon and he was on another job. Not only did he come by to inspect the damage, he proceeded to bring his crew to her house to at least repair the plywood damage and then made the entire roof leakproof until he could get back to finish the job. Only a couple days later he and his crew came back and did an amazing job of completing the job and fixing all the damage that was done. Chris kept me informed at all times and never once let us down. To do what they did on such short notice and to ensure that the roof would not leak is a testament to what an outstanding company they have. I can’t thank him enough for getting her through what was a nightmare. Even the cost was very reasonable with nothing extra added. Great company!! Great workers!! I’d recommend them to anyone! Thanks again guys, job well done!!

  Chris and the team replaced our roof back in 2017 and did a fantastic job. Hands down the BEST communication and willing to go above and beyond. 9 years later we did another renovation on the house and needed the roof done too, obvious choice to use Over The Top roofing. Highly recommend!

  Hello, I called Chris from Over The Top roofing company and he responded promptly, he was very nice, friendly and very professional. He gave me the estimate and we agreed on a price, he showed up with his team on time and did a very professional job replacing my roof, the job was done at the same day. The workers were very friendly and professional too, they left the place the way they found it, cleaned everything around the house. Thanks Chris much appreciated working with you and your team.

  I'd highly recommend Over the Top Roofing! From the beginning, Chris was very easy to communicate with and provided a quick and fair quote to replace the entire roof on our 3,000 sq. ft. Home. On installation day, his crew of five arrived around 7:00 a.m. and worked until approximately 6:00 p.m. They were friendly, respectful, and incredibly hardworking. It was a hot 28°C day, yet they took very few breaks and stayed focused on the job the entire time. We have three dogs and they were very accommodating by stopping their work to allow us to let our dogs in and out, or letting others on the roof know we were coming out, so to hold off on tossing anything off the roof. The amount of debris coming off the roof throughout the day was overwhelming, but once they finished, it was like they had never been there. The cleanup was absolutely amazing, and our property was left spotless. The owner also stopped by several times throughout the day to check on his team and ensure everything was progressing as planned, which really showed how much he cares about the quality of his work and his customers. Overall, we had a fantastic experience from start to finish and would highly recommend Over the Top Roofing to anyone looking for a professional, hardworking, and reliable roofing company!
