  I wanted soffit vents added to my roof. It's an older home, and it didn't have adequate ventilation. Saw on their website that they had a whole page dedicated to that job.....wow, lucky me, they must know what they're doing, right? Well, a guy came out and must have thought that I just fell off the turnip truck cause the hustle was thick. I know what needed to be done, how long it would take, and even tripled my budget factoring in the usual screw-you markup. I told him where I wanted the vents, and how many vents were needed. My attic insulation guy already gave me the deets.... just needed someone to do it. This guy wanted to have scaffolding put up ($$$$), was talking about putting new soffits ($$$$).... are you kidding me? Never been more insulted. Me and the wife put the vents in ourselves. Spent $150, and it took a few hours on a Sunday.

  “Seedy Roofing” rather than “CD Roofing” seems appropriate with their level of customer service… CD Roofing Whole Roof Underlayment service is a sophisticated scam. Warning- Do not purchase this whole roof underlayment extra. If you do purchase, demand completion as per contract, as their refund could be considered consumer fraud….definitely a rip off. In my case, CD Roofing used lies and deception in order to hide the true charges and roof measurements and pay as little of a refund for the underlayment not completed. Further, their refusal to honestly answer any questions about their roof measurements, underlayment charges or invoice discrepancies, in response to my Better Business Bureau complaint, confirms that they are still hiding their scam. The job required 2 x 1000 sq. ft. rolls + installation for the main roof and separate garage. The completed garage required less than 10% of the underlayment while the steep main roof is the remaining 90%. When caught re-shingling the main roof without underlayment, CD Roofing stated that the underlayment of the main roof was not required due to its steepness, and that customer would be refunded. In order to reduce their refund, CD Roofing then switched the 1000 sq. ft. base (footprint) area of the main roof instead of its 1700 sq. ft. ‘on the roof’ area to deceive customer that only 1 roll + installation would be compensated for 50% of the work and at cost. In fact, if one separates the material charges from the installation charges, customer should have been refunded 50% of the material (1 roll partially used) and 90% of the installation charges rather than just 50%. It goes on. Quickbooks invoices (sent to customer) revealed the true underlayment charges/refund of $460. This $460 difference can be assumed to be the true 1 roll + installation refund that CD Roofing was insisting on as the basis of their refund (i.e. thankfully they forgot to cancel the Quickbooks automatic refund).   This is our first time using C.D. Roofing and I wouldn't hesitate to call them again. They responded very quickly when I reached out to them by email and a phone call after we had discovered that a strip of capped shingles had blown off our roof which is steep and a walkout basement 2-storey house. They communicated clearly with the process. Even when their original roofer wasn't able to make it they kept us up to date with the changes. It was done by end of day of the original day that it was booked even. They quoted us under $500 for the job which they also checked out our roof for any concerns. They even recaulked a few areas that needed it and they said our roof still has some years of life in it. It is open to the elements and is 14 years old. No additional charges. Communication was outstanding and the job was well done. A friend of ours was able to check it out with his drone. Easiest work we have had done!

  Ryan and his team were fantastic! Ryan explained all the details when we received our quote. The team showed up just before the scheduled time and were very polite.   Recently had C.D.roofing to replace some shingles that were missing on my roof. They went above and beyond to find the correct shingles for which I am very grateful.   Great experience working with Kelly, Joe, and Ryan to do some siding repairs on my house. Entire process was really smooth. Written estimates, clear communication, showed up on time and did the work to a high standard. Finding reliable contractors can be a challenge, but I’d recommend CD roofing to anyone.
