  We paid good money for what turned out to be an incredibly disappointing roofing job. The workmanship was poor from the start. When the roof was completed in 2022, I immediately contacted the company because the shingles were crooked and hung unevenly off the edge of our house. It looked sloppy and unfinished, so I left an honest review outlining my concerns. The company returned and, rather than properly correcting the issue, simply cut off the overhanging shingles. We later discovered that the cut pieces, along with other roofing debris, had been stuffed inside our ventilation system. We have evidence documenting what was found. We also found hundreds of roofing nails scattered throughout our driveway, yard, gardens, and around our home after the job was completed. This created a serious safety hazard for our family, our pets, and our vehicles. Years later, we are still dealing with the consequences of the workmanship and cleanup. Between the appearance of the roof, the debris left behind, and the condition in which our property was left, this has been one of the worst experiences we've had with a contractor. Based on our experience, I cannot recommend this company. If you're considering hiring them, I encourage you to look closely at reviews, ask detailed questions, and carefully inspect any work before making final payment. I hope accountability catches up with this company and that future homeowners are protected from experiencing what we did.

  Terrible quality of work. Terrible customer service. Dealing with the plumbing vent they intentionally clogged with shingle scraps and a tube of caulking (see pic attached).

We did not intentionally place shingles scraps, a tube of caulking, or any other material into your plumbing vent. The plumbing vent extends above the roof surface, making it unclear how those items would have ended up inside. If you have additional photos or documents, we would appreciate the opportunity to review them Our record show that after we addressed your original concern in 2022 we did not receive any further communication regarding these new allegations. As a result, we were not given the opportunity to inspect or address these concerns before they were posted publicly We remain willing to review your concerns and discuss them directly.   I had an unfortunate experience with Colin, who was contracted for a number of tasks around my home, including gutter work, soffit, fascia, roofing, and the installation of exterior rigid foam. We had mutually agreed upon the price and scope of work, but the reality of the service provided was deeply disappointing. Despite my anticipation for a completed project, I was met with unfinished work. The craftsmanship delivered by Colin, his father, and their two labourers was simply unacceptable and well below any professional standard. I have photos that clearly illustrate the poor quality of the work they left behind. Furthermore, when it came time for payment, Colin attempted to charge more than the amount we initially agreed upon. This led to disagreements and an escalation in behavior that I found to be completely unprofessional. In light of this experience, I would strongly advise against using Colin for any home improvement work. Not only was the quality of his work unacceptable, but his business practices and conduct were also highly questionable. Always prioritize your peace of mind and entrust your home to reliable, respectful, and professional contractors.

You were never charged more than agreed upon and work would have been completed had full payment been received.   A raccoon or squirrel damaged my roof overnight, and when I reached out to Colin’s for repairs, they were quick to respond and provided the pricing immediately. Since rain was expected later that day, I wanted to have it fixed the same day, and they were more than willing to accommodate. They showed up on time and did an excellent, clean job. They also took the time to inspect the rest of the roof, identified other damaged shingles, and repaired/replaced them. When I offered to pay extra for the additional work, they refused, which I really appreciated. The fact that I’m taking the time to write this review says a lot about how amazing their service was. **Highly recommended!**

  I discovered a leak in my roof during a holiday weekend. I contacted a few companies, but Colin's Roofing was able to come by the next day to look at the damage and fix the problem. Colin also came by to take a look. Very reasonably priced as well.

  After we purchased our house we found the eavestrough had been installed incorrectly. In a heavy rain water would flow over like a waterfall. Not only did Colin install new material to correct the issues but repaired a missing shingle that we knew was missing but had not been dealt with. Above and beyond customer service.

  Used him last year to reroute some downspouts on my eavestrough. He had a cancellation and asked a couple hours later if I wanted to get it done. Wasnt pushy at all, didnt require a sale when he was here either. I told him absolutely, he was a nice guy, fair quote, and also came with his worker. They did the job, had a nice chat and everything went great. The following year, I had an issue with something blocking the above downspout (thought it was an issue, but wasnt) and he came the same day no issue, and no charge. If I had another house in the future, I wouldnt hesitate to use him for sure.
