  The car was parked directly underneath a portion of the neighbors roof, as the homes are fairly close to one another. We knocked on Craig Johnson's door several times to ask if he could move his car while we worked on the neighbors roof. This was to prevent any incidents from happening. When Craig Johnson refused to answer the door, after multiple attempts and the start of the job being delayed by a couple hours, the roofing crew did the only thing they could. They placed a tarp, not a magical one or a holey one, over the car to try and protect it from any potential debris. We did not nor do we ever approve of dumping a "mountain of debris" on anyone's property. A few shingles fell as the roof was being torn off and allegedly scratched his car all around. We have tried to work with Mr. Johnson with no success. We have set several appointments with and for Craig Johnson to get his car looked at and fixed, at our expense. He has failed to show up and can't be bothered to return our phone calls to resolve the matter. Our company prides itself on always doing things the right way, and making things right when something goes wrong.

  In October 2021, we purchased a home and found we needed a new roof asap due to leaking. Scott was very prompt with giving us a competitive quote, and thankfully we were able to get the roof installed the exact same week we were to have our baby. We were promised gutters within two weeks of roof install. At the time of scheduling, we were told nets would be used to catch all debris and protect our home- and pads would be laid in the yard to help prevent damage from the portable dumpster rolling around. Unfortunately, neither of these things happened and we found damage to nearly all of our window screens, scrap metal and so many nails all over our yard as well as damage to some landscaping and yard. We called to have someone come look at damage and to sweep the property again- which they sent one person out with a magnet. I know she did her best, but we are STILL finding cuts of aluminum and nails all over…and we have a flat tire on our mower. We have a two young children and two dogs- this is not acceptable! Gutters finally came many weeks later, after having damage to our back patio door from all of the rain. After many attempts to contact Scott, he no call- no showed for us on a Saturday. We said we weren’t paying a dime until things were remedied- they turned the invoice in to financing company anyway- so we were forced to start paying. Scott agreed to replaced our screens- we asked it be done by spring. We were told no problem. Here we are nearly 5 months later without screens. Calls are not returned and there has been no response to the supposed “forwarded messages”. We were so impressed by their quick service to get our business- but the lack of communication now is unbelievable! I don’t know how people stay in business like this! Been 3 years and nothing has been fixed. Make sure you get your platinum warrenty from this company in hand never take their word for it plus never got a copy of our agreement.   Unfortunately, not every job can be perfect. We are and have continually been working with James on addressing and correcting the things that went wrong.   Awful company! Do NOT use them! We had a roof installed in 2014 and ever since then have been having nothing but issues. Every time I reach out to the company my emails my calls nothing is returned unless I threaten legal action. They will then come out throw a little bit of tar down on the roof and say they fixed everything when clearly nothing has been fixed. The damage to the interior of my home is steadily getting worse and I am at a point where I'm going to have to completely remodel my entire house because of their lack of attention to detail. For a company that offers 30-year warranties I find this to be a little ridiculous. At this point I am close to calling a separate roofing company and having them come out and redo my roof and send old fort roofing the bill. Not only was my roof not correctly done but my yard was completely torn up as well. I am still finding nails in my yard and we're not going to talk about the damage to my gutters. Rude and unprofessional to say the least.

  This place is Horrific. Run fast. Left my house in a terrible shape. Untrustworthy, dishonest,. Workmanship poor. Save your money. Go somewhere else. Now!!! THIS REVIEW IS NOT PREJUDICE NO ONE WOULD TALK TO ME AND THEY ONLY SPOKE SPANISH WHEN THEY DID SPEAK. WHICH IS OK. BUT DIDNT HELP ME. YOU ARE THW OWNER YPU WERE RUDE AND VERY UN CARING. PEOPLE SHOULD JUST GO TO THE BETTER BUSINESS BUREAU WEBSITE OR BE A FOOL AND TAKE THE RISK WITH Their money like I did. Look at Joanna Sawyer review is she lieing also????? Is she prejudice also??? Do better people work hard for their money . The man that gave this roofing company a good review picture the reviewer as a man that is young. If you are middle aged or a women, I believe this company will take advantage of you.

  Would never recommend this company , they don't stand by their contracts, owner is very rude , owner took advantage and was extremely rude to my elderly mother and for the the money she paid him , over 14 k , you think he could had been nice and honored his contract, personally he can go "f" himself...

  We're sorry you feel so harsh toward the owner. The materials for your mothers chimney were ordered and we were awaiting their arrival. Within two weeks of the roof being completed, Ms. Howerton called us making threats due to the chimney siding not being started. Due to this unnecessary behavior we decided to decline this portion of the work and Ms. Howerton's money was returned to her.

  Called for a quote, guy shows up and I dont feel he was very professional. Was told I would get a written quote, never came. I called the office 2 times to get it and was told it would be emailed. It never came. terrible customer service.

  The review of the last person statement about this place Old Fort roofing is spot on. IT is Horrible. Do not Partonize unless u just want to give your money away. "This so called business" Left a hole in my ceiling and would not return to fix it. Does not have English speaking workers, so if I needed to ask a question they couldn't or wouldn't answer the question. RUN AWAY FAST!!!! They never attempted to contact anyone about the comments left on this websites only the good comments. That should tell you what type of business they are.

  Paulina, we recall that back in 2018 we completed your roof for you. You refused to pay your bill and expressly stated you didn't want anyone on your property for any reason. You then took us to court to try and get out of paying your bill in 2019 when you became aware it was being forwarded to collections. We also recall that the judge found no wrong doing on Old Fort Roofing's behalf where it was then ruled against you and you were ordered to pay your bill. We're sorry you're still upset about the situation but we have moved on. We would greatly appreciate it if you and your associates would stop harassing our company. We would also appreciate you removing your prejudice and incorrect assumptions about our workers. Thank you for your review.

  I am very pleased with the personal attention given to us by the Old Fort team. Starting with John in his presentation of the estimate and explaining the roofing system and process of installation. The work crew was very efficient and their work ethic was great clear throughout the cleanup. Finishing with Liam and Scott insuring we were happy with the results.

  Old Fort Roofing just completed my entire roof, gutters and downspouts on my home. They did an excellent job!! The entire process from the initial appointment, roof install, clean up, and the final work on the Facia and gutters went very smoothly. I would highly recommend them to anyone for their roofing needs.

  Very quick response. They were on the roof two days after signing the contract and wrapped up in two days time. Mine was a large two-story with multiple roof lines and 12-10 pitch in some areas. No issues during or after.

  Old Fort Roofing were on time and finished the job as indicated. The job was a new roof with skylights and gutter protectors. They did it all in one day and were able to perform the work within a few days of the contract.
