UPDATE AS OF May 19, 2026: January 2026 - Not more than 7 months after this repair, the roof began leaking in the same area that the repair took place. In February, a representative came and looked at the roof where it was leaking and admitted that the repair was not done correctly in the spot, as they overlapped new shingles right over the old shingles and water was getting in between. My ceiling in the bathroom, that was just fixed last June, is damaged again. In February, I was told that they would fix there error and they tarped the spot where it was leaking. Since then, there has been very little communication of when they would be coming to correct their mistake even though I have followed up. At this point, I take back my recommendation, as this has left me with a leaky roof (which I financed to have fixed) that is still being paid off and cannot have fixed by someone else as I cannot afford it. Everytime I contact them they say they don't have date yet. Original Review: Came across OK Roof Revival at a local home show in February after experiencing a roof leak (that got worse shortly after the initial interaction). They then came to my house a few weeks later and did a drone over with photos. They presented me with a detail account of my roof's condition and gave me affordable options. It did then take several weeks for someone to come to the island to do the in person inspection, but that was very reasonable. They were able to schedule my home shortly afterwards for the repair and rejuvenation. My only issues were with communications and issues with the financing after the repair. After the initial presentation, I kept having to follow up to get a set answer. And then communications broke down when they had to reschedule the repair (was supposed to a Thursday and rescheduled to Sunday afternoon) I was ok with the reschedule after I rearranged my schedule for the Sunday. Then I received multiple appointment emails the day before (Saturday) kept changi

The team at OK Roof Revival runs a tight ship and I recommend them. They are very communicative and professional -- I had issues even getting ahold of some other contractors. Once we agreed on the scope and price they scheduled us in and had the roof fully replaced in 3 days -- gutters were spotless after and the property was clean of old shingles and nails. Looking into their permanent lighting products now.

I want to give a huge shout out to Nathan and the entire team for going over and above to ensure that the required work got completed for us in an extremely tight time crunch. While on the job Nathan was punctual and provided before and after photos so that we knew everything was completed! If I could give this company more then a 5 star rating I would, if you need anything done on your roof this is the company to hire! THANK YOU!

Hired OK Roof Revival to clean the moss off my roof. They were the most reasonably priced. They sent me a very extensive proposal with options to choose from. It looked very professional. They did a good job but the only two issues I had: 1) Communication leading up to the appointment. I didn't receive a confirmation so I really wasn't sure if they were coming. So, I reached out to confirm. 2) The gutter on one side of my house was not cleaned. How can I tell? There was a plant growing that was there before and after the gutter cleaning. However, I called them and they came to clean it then took pictures to show me the evidence of the cleaning. What I liked is 1) their presentation and 2) the photos they shared with me on the job after it was done. 3) They also did some asphalt repairs and 4) provided additional recommendation for extending the lifetime of the asphalt. Overall, very good and the most competitive per square inch price for roof cleaning.

Had a great initial meeting/consultation with the owner. Contracted Ok Roof Revival to Revive and seal the roof. Only completed the revival not the sealant portion (perhaps miscommunication). Had all sorts of trouble getting the warranty document (more disclaimers than warrantable items). Clean up was minimal but the biggest complaint was dealing with the Sales Manager Dan M. Rude and pompous!!! If you contract with them, make sure you take your own before and after pictures!!!! Cameron (the owner) smoothed things over. I would deal with Cameron again!!

Why Granule Loss Is an Early Warning Sign of Roof Failure That gritty material collecting in your gutters may look like dirt, sand, or leftover debris from a storm. In many cases, it is actually coming from your shingles. Those tiny mineral particles help protect the roof from sunlight, rain, heat, and everyday wear. When they start disappearing in noticeable amounts, homeowners may be seeing one of the earliest signs that the roof’s outer defense is beginning to weaken. Grit in Gutters Signals Asphalt Shingle Surface Wear A small amount of grit in the gutters is not always alarming, especially on a fairly new roof. Fresh asphalt shingles can release excess particles left over from manufacturing and installation. The concern starts when gritty debris keeps returning after the gutters have been cleaned. Persistent buildup can mean the shingle surface itself is wearing down rather than simply shedding loose material. Homeowners often miss this clue because the roof may still look normal from the ground. The shingles can remain flat and intact while their protective coating slowly thins. Checking the gutters during routine cleaning gives you a closer look at a problem that may otherwise stay hidden. A growing amount of granule loss can provide useful warning before more obvious damage ...Aug 10, 2026Learn more
