STAY AWAY! I never write negative reviews, but this needs to be done to help others save time and money. I should've been skeptical when I had to prepay them their full quote of $680 before they would come do the work (never do this with any contractor!), but it was an active leak and so I paid them. The guy showed up, was here for like 30 minutes, and he was gone. Their fix didn't work, and my roof deck drain is still leaking into my garage. I made a simple and reasonable request: I asked them to come back to do a leak test to confirm if it's still leaking from the same spot that they did the patch on, and if not, find out where it's still leaking from. Nope, they want more money. They are making a total guess of where it's still leaking from and suggesting a new fix for it, but won't even come test to confirm where it's leaking from, or if it's still leaking from the original spot where they 'fixed it to industry standards'. This is the only company I have ever hired to fix a leak and not do a leak test after completing their work. Furthermore, while on site they did a "free roof inspection" on my 7 year old house. Of course they found issues and sent me a quote for over $8000 for 'seam repairs'. Not trusting them after this first issue, I had a 2nd company come take a look at my roof and they say it's normal wear and not an issue. This 2nd company also reminded me that all roofs come with 25-30 year warranties anyways, so if something does happen, I can contact my house builder and get in contact with the company that put my roof on for any warranty work. There are many great businesses in Kelowna, this is not one of them. Premium Roofing is a terrible company with terrible customer support.

Firstly, Premium Roofing NEVER asks for full payment upfront. This is a lie. Additionally, this work took approximately 3 hours to complete, not 30min as claimed. We were called out to perform specific work on the drain, we clearly stated what the scope of work would be in our quote and explained verbally what would be done. You accepted that scope of work. (We removed the drain cap and removed old/cracked sealant and thoroughly dried and then resealed the drain.) While we were on site we highly recommended that the vinyl decking seam between drain be sealed as well, as this could cause a leakage issue, however this seal was DECLINED, stating that the plumber said no. We offer Free site visits, Allan agreed to have us check the rest of the roof and provide a quote for issues found. So we investigated and found several bad torch-on seams which could easily cause serious leak issues. As promised, we provided a quote to fix the seams with Torch-On patches. At Premium Roofing our communication and customer support is outstanding, and we do not put up with, or accept such lies about our hard working and well performing staff. This customer was a very difficult customer to deal with and preferred to listen to his plumber on roofing issues instead of the roofing experts.

Goes back a bit. Had premium roofing come and look at drip/leak from house roof to deck roof. Was told yes 100% could be fixed with 10 year warranty. Job was done in Nov. 2021. It was no more than 11/2 hour job with a couple of other areas looked at and had sealant put on. Was told sealant would never crack or leak and again a 10 warranty applied. Cost was billed at $998.59 and paid Nov. 26/21. April 2022 noticed original leak was leaking again. I was told to take a photo of the leak when it rained which I did and forwarded to Odell. The company sent out a repair person who once again looked at the leak issue and re-applied the same sealant. Well guess what it leaked again and Odell came and did some looking and re-sealing but this time I was told it was a previous problem....hmmm, why wasn't this said before? Well here we are now in spring of 2023 and wow another leak in the same place. Will I call and have Premium Roofing Ltd. come again - gee NOT A CHANCE! Would I recommend them NO. Do I expect more from them yeah but it won't happen. End result not happy with the job result or the follow up with a warranty the doesn't mean a thing to them!

Dear Barry, We are sorry you feel that way about our professional services. However for repair and maintenance services work, that price is great, we use highly experienced ticketed journeyman roofers. Although we offer warranty on workmanship, this does not mean that we will warranty existing issues on your roofing system. Additionally, after looking at our records, it seems you declined a more extensive wall flashing/transition metal repair for a general maintenance and resealing instead. We also went over and beyond the original scope of work by sending one of our roofing specialists out free of charge to reseal everything again just to make sure. Thank you for choosing Premium Roofing, and if you would like us to assist with further repairs, we would love to help.

They did some soffit repair work for me earlier this year that took them less than 20 minutes to repair and a handful of screws as the soffit pieces were in good enough condition to reattach without replacing. The guy spent longer on the phone with his office getting approval to quickly fix while on site to quote than it took him to actually fix. In the end they charged me $367.50 for a handful of screws and less than an hours labour. I definitely don't recommend them for any small repair work. They were however very professional and prompt.

Received a quote for direct swap skylight replacement and was initially quoted over $6000 as I was told I needed a “custom” skylight including interior scaffolding for install. When I notified them that there is a direct swap product on Rona’s website for $1000 I did not received an answer back. A full 2 months later I’ve received a quote for what should have been quoted as a direct swap, no custom work. For roughly half the cost. Shady work guys.

Hello Josh, We had a look at your file. When we sent our roofing specialist to provide you with a FREE site visit, he measured your skylight, and it was a indeed a custom size skylight, and those are quite costly. The installation of this skylight would be complex due to the fact that it is quite large and placed right on the ridge of a very steep roof. In addition, the skylight would need inside fastening which would require a scaffolding set up from the inside of the house which is NOT a simple swap from Rona and is quite time consuming and requires a professional. You later informed us that it’s just standard size skylight. Taking your word for it (and assuming our roofing specialist made a mistake on his measurements), we informed you that we would revise your quote based on if it were a standard sized skylight (At your own request) which included a disclaimer incase your understanding of the skylight size was wrong. Though our revised quote took some time due to high demand of work, we did provide the quote as agreed. Thank you for contacting Premium Roofing, have a nice day!

Complete roof replacement, fast response to give us a quote, they came in middle of the pack for pricing so we went with them. We were told it would take about a week for their "crew" to finish the job, it took almost 3 weeks and only one person doing the work, He did a good job other than scratching my wife's car. Disappointed in the lack of communication, never knowing when they would be there to work on the roof and no communication after the final inspection.

If you've chosen Premium Roofing for your roofing requirements, rest assured you've chosen correctly. We had a mold mitigation need on a low profile roof, needing to remove the asphalt shingles as well as the entire plywood sheating. Removing plywood nailed down with spiral nails in dried fir trusses is no easy feat. In addition, the crew had to work in coordination with a totally disorganized insulation company, resulting in hours of down time for the Premium Roofing crew. They could have plowed on with their obligation, however they exhibited patience and tolerance to avoid leaving me in a very awkward predicament. This was a challenging job in many unexpected aspects. I was very impressed with their professionalism and determination to leave us satisfied when completed.Quality end results in workmanship. Ask for the WESS, RYAN and RUSS team, you'll be glad you did.

Had used Premium Roofing for roof repairs since we purchased two years ago. Roof did not do well after last wind storm. Lane and his team did a timely reroofing. They also replaced a skylight and vent. Lane and his team were polite and respectful in other-word professional.
Reply from the business
Thank you for sticking with us. Wind storms have a way of finding every weak spot on a roof. Glad could get you sorted quickly with the reroof. I'll let Lane know you left this. Appreciate it!
