  I strongly do not recommend, they do not guarantee their work. They sent someone out to fix a leak from my fireplace vent in January. It is leaking again but they refuse to send someone out unless I pay the minimum charge of $350. Please choose another company that will come back and fix the job property at no charge. It is a newer roof, 2022. I purchased the home in 2024, the roofing company that installed the roof has since shut down. I was not advised that roof doctor does not guarantee their work. They were given a chance to rectify the problem but did not.

  Our service department worked on your roof approx. 3 months ago and at that time did our best to address your leak issue. You were advised at that time that there is no warranty on repairs only since we did not install the new roof in 2022, and if the problem persisted we would need to return and do a more invasive investigation. We are sorry that you felt the need to post a 1 star review on our company over not wanting to pay our service call fee to have a service tech return again to investigate further. Perhaps the company that installed your new roof in 2022 should return and repair the leak under their workmanship warranty. Most reputable companies, including ours, offer a 10 year workmanship warranty. This may help save you some money and get the issue looked after.

  This is the worst company. I can't trust them. I had urgent water leaking on the roof and made appointment on Friday morning. All of certain, they rescheduled to next week to do other work. But it is forecasted to rain from Friday evening and weekends. My roof leaking is pretty bad and ruining several spots already and kitchen ceiling ia already started to sag. To not use this company

  Unfortunately, our service person attended a previously scheduled service call before your scheduled time. When he arrived on site we discovered a larger than initially reported issue that required a full day to watertight and repair. Sorry that you were upset that we had to cancel your appointment and hung up on our service person during the call to inform you that we would need to reschedule. Please also note that we quoted the repair for your leak on your roof to your strata several months prior and they delayed confirming the repair until recently. We try our best to accommodate all service requests in our scheduled day however, it is not always possible due to unforeseen issues from job to job.

  Worst experience I've ever had with a contractor. 3 week job took four months. Staff were rude and left numerous safety hazards in our yard. When we complained owners didn't seem to care and threatened to sue us if we even withheld $1 of payment.

  We are completely surprised and shocked by this review. We do not have a customer on file with this first name however, we do have multiple customer records of this surname. The last job done for a customer with this surname was back in 2017 approximately 7 years ago. No previous issues or calls have ever been received from any customer with this surname. We have never had a three week job take four months to complete and take pride in completing our jobs on time and on budget. We have an outstanding safety record and have been recognized as a safety ambassador of the roofing industry. We are also a family owned business and the owners are all caring individuals and none of the owners have ever threatened to sue any customer of ours.

  Called three times since December for some roof repair. Was promised call backs every time but never received any call backs and a quote. Not very responsive on the repair side of the business.

  --Note: I never threatened with online reviews - Roof Doctor said NO WARRANTY so I did make a review and then they called me back. ------------ I asked Roof doctor to repair a leak I had discovered in my attic. They arrived about 10 days late, without calling. I had a ladder set-up to the attic. I asked them to come have a look at the leak but they said, “no they don’t need to.”. Sometime later I decided to inspect the work to ensure there were no leaks. I noticed a considerable increase in the amount of mold in the attic. I called Howard at Roof Doctor and told him I had concerns. He said there no warranty on his work. I suggested I would pursue other actions and he hung-on me. It was not until sometime later that I was physically able to get into the attic to get a better look at the source. Then I discovered that the hose connecting the en-suite bathroom which has a jetted tub to the roof vent was hanging down on one side. I called Roof Doctor again and after writing a bad BBB review and Google Review they agreed to send someone over. The worker quickly saw the issue I was referring to. He apologized and said it has happened before. But…he also managed to take pictures that don’t show the issue that he was fixing. Instead they make it look as though the issue was the insulation hanging off the hose – and I have original pictures and a video from before. Then the repairmen tells me to fix the problem – which I was originally complaining off I would need to add spacers to allow for airflow in the attic. I am tired of being harassed by Roof Doctor – in particular Howard who accused me indirectly off being abusive to him or his staff. Initially I gave Roof Doctor 1 star because there were issues and they refuse to address them. I change the review to a 4 after Mike came and fixed the issue, which he admitted happened before. I change it back to a 1 after I discovered that you, not only failed to accept responsibility but suggested that it was not you

  Christopher, this is the second time you have changed your review from a 1 star to a 4 star then back to a 1 star. We are disappointed that you continue to threaten our company with poor on-line reviews, when all we have ever done is help you with your issues? So although we do not think this is the appropriate forum for this, we do feel strongly that a truthful and honest reply is required; You first called our company back in 2018 complaining of a leaking vent. Our service department attended your home and quickly determined which vent was leaking, but we also noted that all of the vents had not been installed correctly, and the overall workmanship of the shingles installation, done by another contractor was sub-standard. Roof Doctor supplied and installed new roof vents as required. You were also advised that there is no warranty on any repairs. Two years later, in January 2020 we received a call from you advising of another issue in a completely different area of the roof. When we tried to explain that there would be another charge for us to return to do additional repairs, you threatened that you would write poor reviews on our company and our conversation ended. You however, did follow through with your threats and have since posted poor reviews that are simply not true. Then in April 2020 you sent our company another email about a pipe connection issue in your attic. You stated that it had not been connected properly. You also said that if we did not respond within 7 days you would escalate your social media attack against our company. We decided that it was in our best interest to do a courtesy service call at no charge to come back and look at this new issue. Not because of your threats but because we are a reputable company and it seemed like the proper course of action. During this service call with the same person that had previously done the service work on your roof, he noted that it was not the pipe hanging down (it was properly connected)

  It appears I'm the odd one out but I did not have a good experience with this company. I called and requested to be there for a quote but I never got a phone call from a contractor to arrange that. I did receive an email with a quote so a contractor came to my house when I was not there. I then called the contractor to arrange a meeting with myself and other homeowner and they agreed to meet the next evening. After a no show, the contractor apologized the next day but was very rude and unprofessional through text. I would not recommend based on the interaction with that individual.

Although it is not uncommon for our estimator to measure a roof without first speaking with the homeowner, we would never approve of any type of rude and unprofessional behavior from any of our team members. We are sorry that your experience with our company representative was not more of a positive interaction.   We had Roof Doctor do our SBS roof 8 years ago, last summer we were noticing some leaks so I hired a roof inspector to do a review. Our plywood had failed and it was damaging the sbs, the plywood should have been replaced when we redid the roof- this was not Roof Doctors fault, but as it was asphalt to sbs the inspector felt this should have been done, or the very least the plywood should have been screwed down to minimize cupping as it dried out. However the inspector did notice a few deficiencies from the original installation. I contacted Roof Doctor, sent them the report, and even though the people were the same, the phone number and address were the same... they would not honour the warranty as the previous "Roof Doctor" so the previous number company went bankrupt so they would not be able to honour their previous warranties. Very disappointing!!! Our roof has totally failed now because of the rotten plywood so we will be shopping again and making sure we get the most reliable company with a long reputation to re do our roof.

  Unfortunately we are not the same company as the one that did your roof, and no inspection report was ever received from you?.... but your problem does not sound like a workmanship warranty issue anyway. You stated no fault of Roof Doctor. Failing plywood causing damage to the SBS is not a workmanship issue of the roofing company. Did your inspector pinpoint the actual cause of your failing plywood? Something is causing it to "cup" .... possibly poor or inadequate insulation, etc... It is obvious reading your review that it has worsened over the last 8 years since your roof was redone. We would be happy to assist you in determining the actual cause. Please contact our office if you would like our help.

  Honestly the worst most unprofessional company I have ever seen, they are doing a co-op in Rutland right now off of nickel road, they were driving over the irrigation, pissing on the houses, swearing, fighting with there girlfriends , …

  Completely opposite comments than the actual work that was done. Work was very professionally done by our crews. Daily inspections of the job were performed and exceeded quality standards. Completely disagree with all of these comments. There was never any kind of this behaviour on the job site. We did not get voted one of the Best Roofing Companies of Kelowna in 2017 by displaying this kind of behaviour. We also have no current plans to "go under" but hope you have yourself a better day than you were having when you wrote your false review.

  We contacted Roof Doctor for an issue with the roof on our newly purchased heritage home and they fixed it up quickly and efficiently.
