  Terrible service after install. They take your money and run. No one picks up the phone when you call for service. After spending tens of thousands dollars on a new roof you would think it would be good for at least 25-30 years but i have had to call them for service on the roof multiple times in a year. Terrible craftsmanship, not to mention the amount of nails i found in the yard….. would put zero stars if possible.

We ask all property homeowners to be present during our first visit. Once that's over, someone will make the decision in your home, and someone will manage the project. When completing a project this size, we ask both homeowners to be present during the initial consultation so that you both can ask questions, view our products, and set expectations. We want to ensure all information is conveyed correctly and that nothing is lost in translation. It doesn't matter to us who makes the decision on behalf of your household just as long as both parties are informed on what to expect. This is our estimating process and what has led to a 96% customer satisfaction rate. Whether you get an estimate from Nu Look or another contractor, we highly recommend having both homeowners interview the contractor. It's a big decision. Be present for a short amount of time.   I had my roof and gutters replaced by NuLook and was very happy with it until I received some storm damage and asked for a quote to repair. I was able to leave a msg with my issue, Travis called me and scheduled an estimate, somebody came by my house and conducted the inspection. Received a call back about a week later from Travis with some follow up questions and have not heard back since. This was over 2months ago. I also asked for a quote to replace my siding and still nothing. I have called back several times and left messages but nobody returns my call. If this is how things are once you're a customer, I don't think I will be using NuLook with future work I will want to do on my house. Very disappointed!

  After various delays and excuses for 2 months, they are trying to switch to a competitors shingle due to HOA restrictions and are fighting me not to cancel the contract. Would not recommend and make sure you read the fine print...

  I called them to get a bid... during the info gathering, the person on the phone was willing to set up the in-person estimate right away. Then they said "I see another person listed as the co-homeowner - looks like it's your wife." That was a bit invasive! They insisted that she be present at the time of the in-person estimate. But she was unavailable for several days. They would not schedule the estimate unless both of us could be present. I responded that would not be necessary for me to make a decision on which contractor I will work with, but they persisted. I said "If you're not going to work with me on this, then I think I'll need to look for another contractor." The NuLook person responded "I guess you will." I hung up. Found three other vendors that same day. After checking other reviews, it seems like their sales practice is to pressure the homeowners into signing the contract at the time of the estimate. And with both people present, you can't say "let me talk it over with the wife/partner." Not saying they do a bad job, just that's their sales strategy.

  My experience with Nu Look related to the installation of a new roof. Initially, I dealt with Mr. Hunter Jennings who was very informative describing my roof options and available financing. The price and roofing material quality that I received was optimal compared with other contractors that I got estimates from. I also qualified for one year interest free financing. Prior to the installation, Mr. Jennings was very responsive to my questions. For my installation, Mr. Kevin Albanez was the project manager and Jose (last name unknown) was the on- site crew chief of a 5 member crew. I was impressed with the quality of the work performed and I am very satisfied with my new roof. Also, the cleanup after the job was excellent. I highly recommend that folks needing a new roof get an estimate from Nu Look. E Edwards/Alexandria(near Mount Vernon)

  Anyone in the northern Va area wanting to replace windows will find there are a number of companies to pick from. To begin with, I chose NU LOOK for their very favorable reviews and lifetime warranty. I had 85-year-old steel casement windows and was not sure if anyone would want the job of replacing them. But NU LOOK did the work at a very reasonable price. The job (15 windows) was done in one day with several inches of snow on the ground; and the installers were skilled, pleasant and communicative. The new windows are tightly sealed, quality-made, and easy to use/clean. And I can confirm that everyone at NU LOOK is focused on customer satisfaction.

  Didn't end up going with Nu Look because I already had an executed contract elsewhere however I do regret going through the other company. Nu Look was much more communicative and followed up twice. Would highly recommend based on other friends that have had work along with their solid reviews through many platforms.
