  Booked American Home Contractors to clean and inspect my gutters. They used a leaf blower to clean my gutters which caused everything to be covered below the gutters with the waste. Now I have to pressure wash around my entire house to clean it so it doesn't smell. If I had known that was the method they were using instead of scooping the gutters and taking away the waste, I would have hired a teenager to clean my gutters. If I could select No Stars, I would. Very disappointed in the service.

  This was a terrible experience and the work was not done. First there was a 2 week waiting time before they could send anyone out. Then they didn't show up at all during their 4 hour arrival window and were not responsive to my calls. When I finally got ahold of the tech, he said he would be probably an hour and a half late, past the end of the arrival window. That meant at this point I would have been waiting for them for almost 6 hours with no active communication from them. Then I found out that they weren't even planning on doing the work that day at all, they were just going to look at it, and it would be at minimum another 2 weeks waiting before they could schedule the work... that was not communicated to me at all at any point. So that means, at minimum it would be a full month from when I called them before the work would get done, and I couldn't count on them to show up anywhere near the times they gave me... I canceled the whole thing and went with another company that could do the work in just a few days. Infuriating. We have to balance work and school schedules, family and professional commitments, and had to reschedule our whole week around this, take time off work, and they never showed up and had awful communication. I would recommend everyone avoid this company completely.

  Made an appointment for an estimate to do siding repair. First available was 2 weeks out. Made the appointment. One of their reps called me the day before to confirm that they would come out 12-4 the next day. Made arrangements at work so I could meet them. They were a no show. No call, no email, nothing to let me know they’re not coming. If you can’t manage to handle that part how am I going to depend on you to handle the repairs?

  This post is for AMERICAN HOME CONTRACTORS management. We chose your company because of Alex Suarez. Alex was pivital for us to chose your company because he really articulated your compnay services very well. There were cheaper options. We have decided to write this review because if it wasn't for Christian Amaya and Alex we would not be writing any review favorably. Alex and Christian both were there for all of the issues this roof installation unfortunately caused in our life. We're not going to say anything negative about the installation, even with one issue so ergrigious that it alone warrants us to do so, Alex and Christian were there to do damage control. Without these two men and their commitment to stand by your company and represent it's best values pertaining to customer service, we would be writing a lenghty scathing review against your company. No one from management ever called us about the issue. Not that we expected an apology but rather the simpicity of company management understanding our experience and expressing their understanding to us about the issues. It's not like we were going to ask for a rebate or percentage off we just wanted to be heard by someone in management. Guess to management thats Alex's and Christian's job or maybe we're already paid, so who cares. Not sure but in a vaccum of leadership customers are left to ponder the uncertainties. But because of Alex and Christian we decided to showcase your company using our experience with these your two young men, to date your best company representatives. Both should be your employees of the year with bonus monies. When we started the project we told Alex and Christian that it was our intention to do our windows, sidings and doors next. We're going to put that off for a while and see IF AMERICAN HOME CONTRACTORS keeps Alex and Christian because without them we'll look elsewhere for those next home upgrades. And so should anyone else IF anyone other than AMERICAN HOME CONTRACTORS ma

  It did not clean the gutters on the higher roof properly even though 2nd correction was made. Today I can see all water overflowed from the higher roof gutters. Very upset for the work done and not recommended. Also it is bad always try to upsell new installations or ask for reviews.

  Do not believe everything you read. They will not do the job if it requires too much effort (I had existing gutter guards). Then the technician offered to perform an evaluation for $100 but followed by saying "but if you want to have the work done per my evaluation, we wouldn't be able to do it". Wasted my time!

  Someone by the name of Rob Mader stopped by and took measurements for our windows in July and never sent me the estimate for windows installation. Horrible experience with American Home contractors!

  Miguel did a thorough cleaning of our gutters and also inspected the roof for any issues. Photographs were taken to show us the before and after pictures. Miguel was personable and professional. We plan to schedule a more thorough inspection of our roof in general.

  I used American Home Contractors for some roof repair and maintenance work, and was extremely pleased. Communication with the company when scheduling the work and afterward was very good, and I was particularly pleased with Miguel Landa, the technician who came and performed the work. The inspection beforehand was very thorough, and the quality of the work was outstanding.

  I have had great interactions with your company in the past and that is why I chose you to complete the work when I needed a new roof on my townhouse. Your workers were polite and did great work when installing the roof. The paperwork side of things it is a different story. I had to "track down" the project coordinator multiple times. First, to schedule a time for him to come out with my insurance adjuster was going to be there. He, the project coordinator, did not show up when he said he would. Luckily, the insurance company still approved the work. Second, once the job was scheduled to find out what time the supplies would be dropped off and the work would begin. I had to call twice to get that information and still did not get a straight answer about the supplies. This was very frustrating as we wanted to make sure someone would be home when the work was completed. Lastly, to get the certificate of completion as required by my insurance company and the bill. The form for the bill was a little confusing and I wanted to make sure I was filling it out properly it took some time to get an answer about payment and I ended up calling the office to make sure payment was made properly. Overall, I would recommend the company for roofing work as they work itself was fantastic but, be prepared to have to track down the project coordinator for important information.

  Outstanding introduction to your company! Your technician Jacob was “ON TIME”, pleasant and knowledgeable. He understood what we are looking to do and explained only the work that would be necessary to complete the job. I was impressed with the young man. And the quote was reasonable.
