  The common factor in those that provide poor reviews for Nokomis Roofing is the owner's rudeness. He can choose who he works for, but he showed up at the house and called us to rudely say he wouldn't work with us - he was confusing us with previous owners. We had no idea what he was talking about at first, but somehow it was our fault for not explaining to him who we were. So, we will absolutely do as you asked and take our business elsewhere.

  Recently called for an estimate, the guy who answered, rudely asked why I need an estimate for insurance to get my roof done. Then he said I'm not interested.

  Very rude. I made one phone call and asked a question about insurance coverage. He misunderstood my question, hung up on me before I could explain why I meant. I believe he thought I was asking about something fraudulent, but I just wanted to know about whether we needed to increase the quote as the insurance company suggested. Either way, there’s no need to be rude. Unprofessional business behavior.

  If you're looking for a roofer you can actually trust, call JR. He taught me a lot, told me where I should go with a cheaper fix and has already gone above and beyond to help me out with a leaky roof. This company will be the call I make for any roofing issues moving forward.

  Nokomis Roofing did my roof about 8 years ago. It’s been a great roof, and when I thought I had an issue with the roof (which turned out to be unrelated to the roof - high humidity in the attic was causing condensation to form), they came out and provided advice for free.

  JR and Nokomis Roofing truly have the highest integrity and quality. We have relied on JR and Nokomis at two separate houses for roofing issues. Rather than try to upsell into work that was not required, he actually down-sold and told us honestly that we did not need a new roof and there was a less expensive solution. In fact, in his last visit - on a Saturday evening in response to a panicked call - he came out, calmed our fears, told us we did not need any work done, AND WOULD NOT ACCEPT A SINGLE CENT. We cannot recommend JR and Nokomis more - in a world where everyone is trying to pull one over on you, JR and Nokomis are in a class of their own.
