  Buyer beware. Shingle rejuvenation can be a great option for homeowners whose roofs actually qualify, but a proper roof inspection is absolutely critical before any treatment is applied. In my opinion, an inspection shouldn’t stop at looking at the shingles. The attic should also be inspected for leaks, rotten or damaged OSB/plywood, rusted or deteriorating fasteners, ventilation issues, and other pre-existing problems that could affect the roof’s ability to last. A major red flag for me is when a company cannot—or will not—clearly explain its inspection and qualification process before selling the treatment. Ask exactly what they inspect and how they determine whether your roof is a suitable candidate. Extending the life of the shingles means very little if serious underlying problems are missed. Before purchasing any shingle rejuvenation service, make sure you’re confident the entire roofing system has been properly evaluated. GoNano is a great product, but unfortunately, it’s companies that cut corners that can give shingle rejuvenation a bad name. Buyer beware: before having your shingles rejuvenated, make sure the company performs a proper attic inspection. They should be checking for leaks, rusted or deteriorating nails/fasteners, and ensuring the plywood or OSB roof decking is still structurally sound. If they aren’t willing to inspect the attic and properly qualify the entire roofing system before applying the product, that should be a major red flag.

  For clarity, this is not a customer review. The reviewer is located in British Columbia, outside our service area, and publicly identifies himself as being affiliated with a roofing company. We have never inspected his property, provided him with a quotation or treatment recommendation, or performed any work for him. His only contact with us was a brief telephone call involving general questions. At no point did he ask whether we inspect attics or request an explanation of any attic inspection procedure. He was directed to a provider in his own province. The attached attic photographs are not from any Nano Tech inspection or project and have no connection to our company.   After seeing the technology on Dragon’s Den, I reached out locally and scheduled an evaluation. I was pleasantly surprised and immediately put at ease by Todd and Norbert in both their knowledge and candor. Bluntly, I felt as though I could trust them and what they were saying. Beyond the team, the price was the big appeal. They showed up at the time/day they promised and were able to complete the job fairly quickly. Overall a great experience!

  Norbert from the Nano Tech team was great to work with. The process was well communicated and the applications to my deck and garage floor were done quickly and when promised. It rained a day after the deck application and the water repellent nature of the treatment was on full display. Very happy I chose to use the Nano Tech treatment.
