  Crappy work. Almost as crappy as their business practise of littering the city with illegal signage.

  It’s disappointing that the 547 Renovations would respond on this platform rather than reply to numerous prior attempts to resolve the matter directly. We appreciate that 547 Renovations occupied a unit in our facility for many years. However, their account does not accurately reflect the situation. Since taking the unit back, management found that the heating had been turned off, causing preventable property damage and affecting adjacent spaces. The unit sustained significant damage due to the tenant’s own actions, including failing to maintain heat during the winter months, which resulted in avoidable property damage. The tenant was reminded several times that maintaining adequate heat and basic care of the unit is their responsibility under commercial occupancy. Despite these issues, management acted in good faith by granting additional time for them to vacate upon their own request. Unfortunately, rent for that period remains unpaid and the unit was left unattended without proper notice — an action that was both careless and unprofessional It is disappointing to see their public statements that speak of supporting small businesses when their actions behind them tell a different story. As a small business ourselves, we value fairness, accountability, and professionalism, and we remain open to resolving this matter respectfully so both parties can move forward constructively.

  Had work done two times in 2020. Since that time I have had excessive leaking in the homes on more than one occasion. I had a couple roofing contractors come out and both identified poor installation and improper installation of the vents. As shared by others, when I did contact the company, they were not willing to honor any warranty and blamed it on me for not shoveling my roof and for someone sealing the leak as a temporary fix as it was leaking into a child’s bedroom. I do not recommend this company out of respect to homeowners and those that had great experiences, consider yourselves lucky. I should have known better as when I pulled up to the site to offer water and drinks for the workers, they were drinking beers. So much information the owner offers yet has never had a direct conversation with me. I’m not asking your ill-equipped company for anything just warning others to not make the same mistake I did. And to be clear, no company has touched the roof apart from sealing the one vent. Speak all you want, I had your company do two homes and it’s the same at both.

  Roof was done in 2020. No issues with leaking or installation. Customer contacted us in January of 2022 and had leaking due to excessive snow that had not been maintained which resulted in an ice dam. Customer even agreed that she believed snow removal would have served significant importance due to the abundance of snow that occurred that winter. We did not hear anything until June of that same year and we received an email saying that another roofer quoted nearly $5000 to replace a couple of vents and do some repairs. We were never contacted and there were no issues until the ice dam caused damage that is not covered by any labor or manufacturer's warranty. It is assumed there is still a leak or the other roofer(s) modified the roof in a way that it is still leaking as this is now over 2 years after the ice damming issues and over 4 years after installation that we are receiving this review.

  There workers do not stop at a school crossing when people are crossing this woman with brown hair , black shirt that was driving in the company white truck just about hammered my kid on mountain and main .if I didn't stop to yell at my child she would of been hit she just turned and looked at us we were halfway across the road .very poor drivers . No regards for others on the road and other vehicles have stopped she kept going . This happened July 11 2023 .happened at 2:01 she had enough time to stop but choose to keep speeding up.

  Please beware. This company will do the bare minimum or less. After replacing my shingles there were large gaps and holes I could see from looking from my attic. We asked to meet the owner several times. He agreed but then never showed up. After several requests, he sent someone else (without letting us know he wasn’t coming). That person had no authority to do anything and even broke our clock with no apology. The next thing we hear from the company is that they would not honour any warranty. We were holding payment until we could resolve the issue. Instead of meeting with us or even calling, they reneged on the contract by removing their warranty. They never offered to replace or fix our clock. They wasted our time by setting up meetings and not showing up (several times). And they would not stand by their work. I’m happy for those who had a good experience but if you ever need a follow up or warranty service, this company has shown me they will not stand behind their work. In fact, I’ve never dealt with a less professional company. Edit: Now the owner says this is a fake review. Why would I give a fake review? I don't know these people personally. Do they think I'm in the pocket of "Big Roofing"? I have plenty of positive Google reviews. The only justice I get is to review them and true to my terrible experience, they continue to act unprofessionally.

  Please beware. This is a fake review. We have never had any dealings with this person. Such a detailed account of a completely fabricated story. It's unfortunate when other people feel the need to post these types of things on someone's Google business account and it isn't the first time. I have reported the issue to Google as a fake engagement with our company.

  In summer 2018 we had 547 Renovations do our soffit, fascia and eaves on our home. While we liked Russ, we had nothing but issues with the work. We contacted them numerous times to tell them that the paint splatters left on our Tyndall stone, garage door and stucco needed to be removed. We also had incredible leaking, like waterfalls coming from all the connections between downspouts and waves. In even the lightest rains. We took photo and video and sent it in to prove it. They aren’t clogged either, my husband clears them regularly. We always got the same response from 547, “We are busy but will make time later this summer.” Well it’s been 4 years since the initial work was done, we haven’t heard a peep from 547, and after trying to support a small business - we no longer can do that in good conscious. They said the work is under warranty for 5 years, but refuse to come and assist us with the issues. The workmanship is obviously shoddy, and customer service is no better. They also left screws and sharp edges of aluminum all over the property, even our neighbors complained. So now, we will spend more of our own money to have all the connections to downspouts re-done, and an additional downspout put on (they assured me 4 was enough, clearly not.

  Roofers were not wearing proper safety equipment, shingles and nailes were thrown in the yard, owner was rude and then lied to manitoba health and safety when confronted.

  Russ and Jenn are very good communicators from the estimate stage right through to completion and final inspection of work completed. The entire work crew were respectful and very hard working. Russ goes above and beyond a normal persons work ethic! This is the second time I have used their company and I am very happy to recommend them to family and friends. Well done 547 Roofing! Laurie

  I had a fantastic experience with 547. Great communications with the administrative side, with readily available information, and answers to my questions. The crew that came out were punctual, reliable, and easy to work with. Other than some weather and technical difficulties that could not be avoided, everything went smoothly. I highly recommend the company!

  I recently had my roof reshingled. Communication leading up to the date of the work was very good. I received quotes from some other companies and was happy with their competitive pricing. The roofing team was quick, courteous, and respectful and left the area cleaner than when they started. I highly recommend 547 Renovations for any roofing needs you might have.

  547 did my roof a few years ago and it was such a great job, I referred to more friends and neighbors. Fast forward 7 years later, and we still highly recommend 547. They're pricing is great, warranty great, and service is where they really excel. Zero hesitation to keep referring our neighbors and friends.

  Thanks to 547 Roofing for the fantastic job they did replacing my shingles. Jenn in the office was great to work with, super friendly and helpful. The house and garage roof was totally completed in 8 hours including clean up. Highly recommend this company!
