  I would never use MRC again for any other house we build. Dealt with Ken the owner and he passed the buck claiming that the exposed ice shield on underside of the gables on the roof is the siding guys responsibility to cover. He is not a very good communicator and basically screwed us. If you’re reading this review beware as this company is a do not use. At the very least MRC owe up to your responsibilities and finish the job and not take people’s hard earned money. If you read this Ken, make good and finish the job. Very disappointing!

  Hi Frank, I don’t think this is a fair review. I explained to you that the soffit should be put in level, not on the angle because where it meets the bottom side of the valley, you’ll have zero coverage where the roof meets the soffit. We’ve been in business for many years and know that this is not the proper way to do this. Your soffit guy should know that installing it level will create better waterproofing and there would be no issue with exposed ice and water shield.

  My roof leaked after a big thaw within 6 months. They came and inspected it. Said they made a mistake with the ice shield. I was told upon sight I section that they would come back and repair it along with upgrading my vents. They reneged …

  Had a new metal roof installed 2 years ago only to discover they made a mistake in installing it and it now leaks. I have been waiting since last year for them to fix it. I have not heard a peep from them in months ! Bliss Baker

  I asked Muskoka Roofing for two estimates for two different types of roofing material - Enviroshakes and asphalt - as well as replacement of soffits, facia, and evestroughs. I requested this in writing and again, verbally, when the estimator arrived. All I got was one estimate - for asphalt shingles - but nothing regarding the soffits, fascia, and eves. I wrote again, repeating my initial request. To date, they have been 100% non responsive. Time to look elsewhere . . . . . .

  Was very disappointed. Called for a quote, were told they would be out tomorrow and some of the guy's were looking for weekend work and might be able to squeeze us in sooner than later. It's been almost two weeks we even stopped into the office and no one came out. I don't recommend them.

  Very bad communication skills, not very professional at all. When asking questions they drop you off and say they won’t do your roof with no explanation. A company that communicates that like when a customer asks questions should not be trusted, not professional in my opinion at all.

  Called MRC in a bind and needed some custom snow stop material made. Their team took my call, manufactured the product and delivered same day. We owe you guys Thanks for all that you do. Highly recommended

  We have had very pleasant business interactions with the Muskoka Roofing team. Their fabrication shop makes any custom steel flashings, panels and even custom steel gutter profiles. Excellent coppersmiths and standing seam metal roofing.

  From start to finish it was a good experience. Very professional and the office staff always called back. The 3 roofers did a great job. Joe looked after everything. Couldn't be happier.

  Can’t say enough good about this company. I had an emergency situation after tornado went through and rip half my shingles off. It was tarped off till someone could shingle whole roof which was weeks away. A few days later it rained hard and I had rain coming into my kitchen. I talked to owner Ken and he had a crew their the next morning and did my roof in one day which was unbelievable great quality and very reasonable price. Highly recommend

  We wanted to let you know that we were very impressed with all aspects of the MRC service on our roofing job. The finished product looks great and the entire process to get to the new roof was a pleasure. In particular we wanted to compliment the crew who were extremely hard working, quality focused and great to have on site.

  Was told they would do an estimate and they went out two days later than we were told. 15 phone calls and no one returned my calls. Worst service in Muskoka thanks for wasting my time..

  Hi Brendan. We are sorry that this has been your experience with Muskoka Roofing Company. We must have had a miscommunication in our office as we were told that your roof was already underway and you just needed a comparative quote. As you can imagine, this time of year is extremely busy as we have many projects that we need to complete before winter settles in. We have very little time left weather wise and we prioritize our customers based on need. It is not in our best interest or the interest of other clients to use our resources to quote a roof that has already been committed to another roofing company. Again, we do apologize if this was not the case and if a quote is still required, please let us know.
