  Great at sales terrible at after sales Repairs did not respond to anything completely silent. Work is sub par. Would not recommend.

  The initial work was fine, they put a metal roof on our cottage. But a bit of the roof popped up in less than a year of being new, and I tried for two years to get them to come back and repair it. They never returned my call. I think two stars is a generous review.

  We had MWI install a roof on our new cottage. This winter we had an ice dam and leaking. MWI offered no support, told us it was a ventilation issue. They never inspected the roof or checked the ventilation. Steve, a project manager showed up without a ladder. Just looked from 30' away and made a quick judgement. We had it inspected by an outside company. We have great ventilation, the leaking was from poor workmanship. MWI is refusing to take responsibility. Useless company, do not use them for anything. Mike West should be ashamed of his business practices. Just to clarify Mike West's rebuttal. It's amazing how someone who did not leave their desk during the winter can make assumptions of what we did or did not do. If we did not have independent contractors assess the roof and its integrity, I would agree with MWI. Pictures don't lie....errors were made during installation. That can happen with any trade. It's how you take care of the issue afterward seperates the good companies from the ones you don't want to deal with. That's it, I'm not going to continue with this post.

  Hi Kevin, We want to clarify the situation for anyone reading this. Your roof did not leak due to poor installation—it leaked because of heavy snow buildup and heat loss, which led to ice damming. This past winter was one of the worst Muskoka has seen in over 30 years. As we explained at the time, your roof was not shoveled, and water backed up through the ridge vent due to preventable snow accumulation. This is not a workmanship issue—it’s a basic winter maintenance issue. We are not a snow removal company, and unfortunately, roof care during extreme winters is the homeowner’s responsibility. The owner of our company personally reached out to you, and you made it clear you did not want us back on the property. You also never attempted to contact him directly before posting this review. We stand behind our work, and we responded appropriately. Blaming us for neglecting to maintain your roof during a record-setting winter is simply not fair or accurate. — The MWI Team

  It’s the worst company and customer service I’ve seen. Not answering my calls just took money and didn’t come. Not recommend that company for anyone.

  Worst customer service. Trying to resolve the issue of my roof leaking more than a year!!! Paid for repair service and get scammed.

  Terrible experience with the management. No phones answered, taking weeks to reach them out. Fraudulent activity. We had our roof installed. And right after there was a leaking due to the short dripping edge. After long time waiting, finally they sent a service guy to fix. He came did something and it didn’t helped. Called again so many times. Until service guy get back to me. And offer a solution to fix it but already not for free. After many attempts to reach the company I told him to fix. And been asked to pay the bill ( which we wasn’t supposed to have in first place. ) Well I wanted the leaking gone asap. So I sent the money. At the day of the service no one showed up. I called the service guy,(phone is off). I called from different numbers and it’s on! But no answer. The guy just block my number. Couple weeks took me to reach the company. And they claim that they fire this guy. Asked them to provide me with his information for Police to claim fraud. Nothing. Sales person assured me that the owner will call me. Waiting two weeks now. Calling. Nothing!!! Total disaster!!! Stay away from this company.

  A few years back, my boyfriend had a persistent leak in his asphalt shingle roof which caused water damage & opened a huge hole in the living room ceiling. He had MWI Metal Roofing instal a new roof and about a year later, we finally repaired the interior ceiling. Within a couple of months, the leak over the living room appeared again in the exact same place as before. He called the company for help and was told they'd be out to look at it. No one showed up. He called again weeks later. Same assurance, same no-show. Finally, I crawled onto the roof myself and discovered that the metal sheathing behind the chimney had been installed such that rain/melting snow was pooling, running under the roof and finding its way to the weak spot over the living room. We caulked the hell out of it to stop the leak and that worked to a point, but after a biblical rainfall this week, there is still water getting in, mold to kill and a ceiling to repair yet again. I finally called the company for help myself and days later, have heard nothing. Called twice. Nothing. If only I could give zero stars...

  MWI just finished installing a metal roof on our cottage and garage. Very professional throughout the process especially from Jesse and Carrie. Workmanship was outstanding! Metal roofs cost more and take longer to install but the end result is worth it.

  Label and his team are very organized and run a very tidy work site while they do your roof. They explained what they were doing and took time to answer questions. They even set the furniture back up on the deck when they were finished! Excellent job on the roof and skylights. Our thanks to the entire team!

  We decided on MWI after a referral from a friend. Our home experienced substantial damage as a result of ice built up from the winter. Gary quoted us and sold us on their metal shingles which is not something we had considered. The installers were wonderful. The install is clean, they made us aware and rectified a couple small issues and the work area was tidy. They were also polite and respectful to my wife and kids. I highly recommend MWI and we couldn't be happier with our roof from start to finish. Thanks everyone at MWI.
