ABSOLUTELY DONOT RECOMMEND. I have a list of reasons a mile long, but here are the TOP 5 REASONS TO NOT GO WITH THIS COMPANY 1) Sales representative was VERY unprofessional. Had kept inviting himself over for "drinkypoos" as he called it. As a young single female, this was NOT okay. I started having neighbours be here when the company showed up. 2) When I reached out to the head sales representative, Ryan, he took over my account. However, SO MUCH information was not communicated properly, between the two sales representatives and who came to work on my house that a lot of work was missed (had to get the company back 3x for just the roof) -3) Insulation was not completed (did not do the areas in my basement I asked AND paid for). No insulation was left behind, even though I was told there were leftovers that I asked to leave as I paid for it. 4) I went through FinanceIt as I was told there would be no fees or anything. When I got the paperwork, it said there was over $150 fees for processing, etc. I asked about this, got a written letter saying the company (that was confirmed with the owner) was going to cover costs of using FinanceIT, as I was not informaed of additional fees. This was not removed from my bill even though I had asked MULTIPLE times. 5) LASTLY, Ainger had recommended an Energy Audit company to use, McCormick Energy. I had the initial and final audit done. I asked for paperwork and was told it would be filed for me and the rebate would come in a couple months. This was October 2023. I called multiple times and got no answer. Finally Greener Homes (government rebate) reached out saying the paperwork was started but not completed, and to see if I could contact McCormick Energy. I then tried again, as I had been for months, and all phone numbers were disconnected. I contact the head sales representative at Ainger to see if they could do/communicate anything and my message went ignored. I VERY HIGHLY DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY. If I could've given 1

Hello Jenna, we are very sorry about all of this, and will address each item below 1 - When this was informed of our sales rep, we immediately relieved him as this is far from our company morals 2 - Yes, a poor salesman is a poor salesman. Information was not passed along to the powers to be, so it needed to start over as suggested. (Again your original salesman does not follow our values) 3 - We do not insulate basements, so there was no insulation for that ever one site. We did not have "extra" material left over, and certainly none for a basement. (Again a poor salemen) but you never paid us ti do this. 4 - As the owner, I am not aware of this letter for covering 150$, how ever contact me and let's make sure this is addressed. 5 - your initial salesman gave you McCormick Evergy as a suggestion for a contractor for you to hire of work we are unlicensed to do. It's unfortunate they went out of business, but they were your subcontractor and we do not have control over them at all. We have gone by far above and beyond to try to help with this. (More so then a third party can) and can not get you any results. We do sincerely apologize for our initial sales rep, asking for "drinks poo", may we ask, why you would continue to proceed to deal with him, multiple times and agree to drinks with him. All of the above should not have happened, quite honestly if things were as bad as you out lined, you should not have proceeded with us. You being upset about McCormick Energy, is far beyond us. You hired a different sub contractor that it is unfair you expect us to control / manage. We are not a project management company, we can only control our scopes of work, which is all employees. Your review reflects a bad apple salesmen and a third party sub contractor you hired. We are sorry for the initial sales rep, we did take care of that immediately tho.

Worked with Cornelius and his team on a project in Orillia. They were able to get the work done in a single day to minimize the inconvenience to me, their pricing was fair, and they got the job scheduled quickly. They were also able to go above and beyond by handling a chimney cut off / cap as well as some fascia work

Thank you Tobis, your shingle roof looks great and that chimney was an easy removal. Thank you for trusting us with your home and your Google review.

We are totally satisfied with the replacement of the shingles on our roof. The team who came to do the job were able to complete it in one day. They were very professional and friendly, spending the time beforehand laying down tarp around the house and plywood around doors and windows. They also took the time to cleanup afterwards, asking me if everything was to my satisfaction. A refuse bin was delivered the night before, and removed just after the job was complete. The entire procedure from first obtaining the quote to the final cleanup was first rate! I highly recommend them!

🏠 How to Avoid Ontario’s "Fly-by-Night" Roofing Contractors Every year, Ontario homeowners lose thousands to roofers who disappear right after the job. A roof is a massive investment. You deserve peace of mind knowing the company will still be around in 5, 10, or 15 years. Before signing any contract, demand these 5 essentials in writing: WSIB Clearance Certificate: Protects you from liability if a worker is injured on your property. Liability Insurance: Look for a minimum of $2M (Ainger Group carries $5M). Written Workmanship Warranty: A warranty is only as good as the company standing behind it. Manufacturer Certification: Ensures your material warranty isn’t voided by improper installation. Documented Scope of Work: Reject verbal estimates. Demand an itemized list of materials and cleanup expectations. 🛠️ Repair vs. Replace? An honest contractor won't push you into an expensive replacement if a cost-effective repair is all you need. We provide thorough assessments with photographic evidence so you can make the right choice. 🌟 The Ainger Advantage (Since 1990) With over three decades of local experience, we provide itemized pricing, an on-site Project Manager, and a post-job Homeowner Protection Report with before/after photos. Don't risk your investment. Work with a trusted team. 👉 Click "Learn More" to read our full guide or book your no-pressure estimate today!May 30, 2026Learn more
