With the recent storms in St. Paul- I noticed a bent shingle on my roof. Called MSP exteriors to send someone out and do an inspection incase there was any further damage that I could not see from the ground. Alan called me and asked to send pictures of my roof and when I let him know I would prefer to have someone take a look in person he was very huffy and puffy (clearly annoyed ) on the phone. Dealing with Alan was an absolute nightmare. He came over the next morning with an extremely bad attitude and basically insulted my whole house and the investment I made buying this property. I asked him basic questions to better understand the issues with my roof and he was rude to me the whole time. He said the my roof was shot and had a whole bunch of leaks and ‘nothing’ was done right. He came up with BS issues and talked about multiple leaks when I have not seen ANY leaks. He saw my skin color and accent and thought he could break me down by making up all these issues and made it sound like my roof and chimney will crumble in the next few minutes. YES my roof is older but there is zero issues with it and I had 4 other roofing contractors who came over and let me know there is nothing wrong with the roof other than basic wear and tear and does NOT need immediate replacement. People like Alan will certainly never get my business and I feel so sorry for all the people he has ripped off by making them feel like crap about their roof/property.

We had a terrible experience with MSP Exteriors. My father had them come out to give a bid to have our deck taken down. They pressured my dad in to having it done that day by lying to him and telling him that the city would condemn the house if he didn't have it done that day. They did a horrible job. It was horrific. They charged him way too much. They broke a window pane when they popped part of the deck out and then just told my dad that they would give him $250 off all the doors and windows he ordered to have replaced. They left the broken glass there, didn't even bother to clean it up knowing I have a 2 year old that could go back there at any time. They didn't seal up the part of the house that the deck was attached to. It is awful. They left half of the wood from the deck with nails in it sitting in the backyard. The worst part of this whole experience is that they were drinking while they were working on taking our deck down. They left their empty liquor bottle in our recycling bin. My dad passed away so we are no longer working with them and have cut all ties with them. This was the worst experience ever.

We are absolutely thrilled with our new vinyl siding, replacement of two doors and our deck stairs. The quality of the work and the team were excellent! Our neighbors have all commented on how great our home looks and we couldn’t agree more. I would and have highly recommend MSP!

Alan arrived on time and was very friendly and knowledgeable. He fixed my window efficiently and took the time to walk me through what he was doing, which I really appreciated. Great service overall. I would definitely use MSP Exteriors again.

I had windows and siding done one year ago almost to the day. Not only do we love the look and results but we now know we are saving $100 a month on average for our utility bills. This crew was extremely helpful respectful and clean. We couldn't be more happy with the end results. We HIGHLY recommend TJ Exteriors

Allen knows what he's talking about! Great service done in a timely manner. Everyone On the job site was professional and very nice. I had six windows installed and they look great. These are not Window inserts so the size matches the ones that were original... Honestly they look bigger than the original, This is what I love about them. Will definitely use this company again in the future if needed.

Alan Mercer from MSP Exteriors was amazing. He was able to come the same day in between other customers. He was able to get large window trim mostly flush against wall and caulk around top and bottom to stop air transfer into walls to prevent ice dams 1 foot above widow at roof eves. An un named National Window company had been giving me the run around for 6 months of e-mails, texts and calls for 6 months after install and back cement wall damage. Wall to be addressed at a later date but as a disabled senior I was unable to perform this even though I know how. Thank You Alan Mercer and MSP Exteriors, I will not forget this.

Chris was great! He inspected our leaking skylight and tightened up the flashing cap. The leak stopped!!!. He gave us a quote for replacement when needed, but didn’t charge us for his time or the maintenance.

Working with Allen was a pleasure! He took on my small repair of fascia happily and him and his crew did great work at a reasonable price. Was also easy to work with and get scheduled. Very knowledgeable and professional! Highly recommend!

MSP installed ClipStone on my home....almost 900 sqf. This application is very labor intensive and these guys knocked it out of the park with their speed and attention to detail. They took great care in flashing and caulking it all up and making sure it looked great. Communication: Alan was my contact throughout this project. This guy IS THE most communicative contractor I've ever dealt with in my life. In a world of contractors, there needs to be about a million more Alan's. I am a DIY guy, but this would have taken me months. Im glad I found these guys, and I will definitely use them in the future.
