  UPDATE: After posting this review, the owner of A-Z Construction, Val, personally reached out to me. He was highly professional, apologized sincerely, and took full accountability for the company's internal failures, explaining that the salesperson involved (Levi) is no longer with the business. To compensate for the hazardous cleanup labor I had to perform myself and the stress caused by the incorrect billing, Val completely waived my remaining balance of $1,185.06 and officially closed out my file at a $0.00 balance. While the initial project execution and communication last fall were incredibly frustrating, I deeply respect an owner who steps up, takes ownership of his team's mistakes, and does the right thing to make it right with the customer. ***************************************************** I highly advise against using A-Z Construction for any storm damage repairs. I contracted them last October for a full roof, gutter, downspout, and gutter guard replacement following hail damage. Salesperson Levi convinced me they would manage the entire process smoothly, but the experience has been a nightmare. While the roof was completed, the work was subcontracted to a crew that did not speak English, making it impossible to communicate concerns about them throwing debris. I was promised that a clean-up crew would collect the nails and shingles left all over my yard; no one ever showed up. Most importantly, as of today, the gutters, downspouts, and gutter guards were never installed. Despite their failure to complete the job, they are demanding full payment for the uninstalled work. I am currently forced to take legal action. Do not trust this company and never sign over your insurance check until all work is 100% completed.

  Thank you for your feedback and for the update Ben, We feel it is important to provide additional context regarding this project. Based on our records, many of your attempts to communicate were directed to Levi after his departure. However, you were provided with our office contact information, and our office never received a call from you regarding the concerns outlined in this review. After the roof replacement was completed, we made numerous attempts to contact you by phone, unfortunately, our calls were not answered, and multiple voicemails were left without response. We also sent several emails that were not returned. The first communication we received back occurred after an invoice was sent requesting payment. Our records show repeated efforts to reach you without any success. As with many roofing projects, installation crews are used to perform the work, and we expect all crews to conduct themselves professionally. If cleanup concerns remained after completion, we would have been happy to address them had they been communicated to our office. Given all that information, once we actually had a chance to talk to you and hear out your concern about the clean up. You can see that we went above and beyond and even wiped off the remaining balance of 1,185.06 that was owed to us just because we care about our clients and our performance. I would hope and think that amount is sufficient to clean up any nails or pieces of shingles that were missed by the crew after they completed the roof. We appreciate you being able to see that we do stand behind our work and always willing to take care of any issues that arise. We are proud of the work we perform for homeowners throughout Minnesota and remain committed to resolving disputes professionally and fairly.   A to Z construction did a great job installing some floor tile for me. It was quick and done well. They recently did a full bathroom remodel as well, and everything went smoothly. They have hard working people who do a really good job. I would recommend them!

  The penny tile on the bathroom floor is what I keep noticing Every little round piece is set so uniform it almost looks like a sheet but you can feel the individual tiles underfoot Our bathroom is small so the pattern really fills your vision as soon as you walk in, in a good way

  Just had my bathroom remodeled by this construction company, and I couldn’t be happier! Val did an amazing job with the remodel - every detail is perfect. He was always on time, stuck right on the budget we agreed upon, and his work ethic is top-notch. Plus, the communication was excellent all the way through.
