Two of our technicians attended the site as planned. They successfully identified the source of the leak and performed a temporary repair to prevent further water intrusion. Mountain West Roofing completed all of the work that was discussed, and you expressed your satisfaction with the outcome before our team left your property.   Hi Samantha, I regret to hear that your experience with our services has been less than satisfactory. When we initially assessed the leak at your property, our team identified numerous deficiencies throughout the roofing system. Doug (Owner) informed us that the roof had been improperly installed from the outset, and our observations corroborated this assessment. During our initial investigation, we noted that the water damage appearing on the ceiling coincided with an area lacking attic access, requiring us to conduct all examinations from the roof level. We promptly identified a low-slope roof section with incorrectly installed shingles directly above the leak. Subsequently, we provided a proposal to remediate this issue by installing appropriate waterproofing materials. Following the completion of the repair, no further leaking was reported for several months, despite significant rainfall. When you later reported a recurrence of the leak in the same general area, we dispatched a technician to reassess the situation. We applied a tarp, which temporarily halted the leaking. We explained that, given the absence of attic access and the challenges posed by a poorly installed roof system with multiple potential entry points, identifying the source of a leak can often be a process of elimination, even with attic access available. After conducting a more thorough investigation, we proposed a solution encompassing a larger area to increase the likelihood and confidence in the effectiveness of our repair. During our last conversation, I offered to personally visit your property to collaborate on finding a mutually agreeable solution; however, the proposed time was inconvenient for you. I requested that you inform me of your availability, but I have not received a response.   Dear Ashok, Thank you for sharing your perspective regarding this matter. I’d like to provide some clarity from our side. We were contacted by ServiceMaster to investigate a reported tree or branch impact on your home. ServiceMaster provided us with your contact information and address. To clarify, our contract was with ServiceMaster, as they engaged us to perform the investigation. ServiceMaster is fully aware of our policies, rates, and fees. Upon receiving the request, we promptly contacted you to arrange a time for our roof technicians to visit. When they arrived, the tree and/or large branches had already been removed by a tree service company. Our team cleared the remaining debris from the roof and conducted a thorough investigation of the roof system for potential damage. No damage was found, although they did note a gasoline spill left by the tree service company. Following this, I personally contacted three asphalt shingle manufacturers to determine if the gasoline spill required further action. All three confirmed that the spill posed no concern and would naturally wash away with rain. Based on these findings, I prepared a detailed three-page report, which included six photos and outlined our findings, concluding that no further action was necessary. This report was sent to ServiceMaster, along with our invoice, as they were the entity that contracted us. Several days later, I received text messages from you stating that you were told by ServiceMaster there would be no charge for our services and that you were not informed of our rates. It became clear that ServiceMaster had informed you—incorrectly—that you would be responsible for paying our invoice. I explained that our contract was with ServiceMaster and advised you to contact them for clarification. Subsequently, I received additional messages from you requesting the invoice and stating that the cost should be covered by your neighbor, as the tree belonged to them. Again, I explained that I had

  I recently had my roof replaced by Mountain West Roofing, and I couldn't be happier with the experience. Jeff came by to assess the job and had a detailed quote to me within a day. He was easy to reach whenever I had questions and took the time to explain everything clearly, so there were no surprises. Jordan, Mike, Marco, and their crew were professional, knowledgeable, courteous, and respectful throughout the entire project. They answered all of my questions, kept me informed of anything that needed attention, arrived on time each day, and thoroughly cleaned up before leaving.   Every homeowner faces having to repair or replace their roof at some point. It can be a stressful time and that's why it's so important to find the right company to do the work. I'd heard from other people in my neighborhood that they had used Mountain West Roofing and they were happy with the work. I'm pleased to say that our family is pleased to also report this company does great work and really took the stress out of the Job. Moreover the workers went out of their way not only fixing potential future issues but also put in extra overtime hours to make sure to avoid upcoming rain... and all at no extra cost. In today's day and age where it's rare to find people that care about their clients, these guy do.

  We would highly recommend Mountain West roofing. The workers were very efficient and completed our new roof in a surprisingly short amount of time. They took photos so I could see progress on the roof and understand what was going on. They also made sure to clean up after they were done and installed flashings, leaving the house in much better shape than it was previously. Overall great job!
