Plate ending in 5028 going down abby mission hwy today. Cutting ppl off. Cut me off in the middle of an intersection, didnt even look had to slam on breaks. Talking on his phone very obviously. Swerving all over the place and driving dangerously close to ppl in front of him. If they drive like that I would hate to see how they do work.

Shane's Company, who was surprisingly recommended by Rona, came over to look at finishing my flat roof. The first thing out of his mouth was that my unfinished place looked like a 3rd world country. I've been to many third world country and the iid has no idea. I was in the kindle of a large reno project Shane quoted me appropriately $1500 under the table but said he was busy. Shane never bothered to follow up with me and I never heard back from him over the summer or anytime after that. I ended up finishing the job myself with ease. I would definitely not recommend this company and making well over six figures, would have paid whatever it took.

Absolute worst company. We had our roof done by them over a year ago and it is leaking into our house from the poor quality. We've asked them countless times to fix it and the owner of the company said take me to court WOULD NOT RECOMMEND DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY

Carrie and John were awesome in their prompt efforts to help us remediate a strata leak issue. John was very knowledgeable and experienced with our situation and steered me in the right direction in regards to dealing with responsibilities and communication. They know how to handle this leak!

I’ve used Citadel Roofing multiple times over the years, and now exclusively across various properties in the Lower Mainland, and they continue to exceed expectations. Their service is consistently timely, efficient, and effective, with a standout ability to troubleshoot complex issues quickly and professionally. What truly sets Citadel apart is their honesty and transparency—their scope of work and pricing is always fair and accurate, with no surprises. I learned this the hard way when a manager once hired another contractor offering a “great deal.” The result? A disaster—flooding in our pub and weeks of stress. That experience taught us a valuable lesson back in the winter of 2021: never cut corners—always go with the best. Always go with Citadel. Beyond their stellar service, Citadel is a true pillar in the community. Their ongoing charitable work and commitment to giving back across the Lower Mainland speaks volumes about their values. Their amazing team supports these efforts with passion and integrity—they’re not just great roofers, they’re great people. Highly recommended on every level.

We’re proud to be your go-to roofing partner across your properties, and we take that responsibility seriously. Hearing how our transparency, workmanship, and community involvement have made a difference for you reinforces exactly why we do what we do. And you’re absolutely right—cutting corners can be costly, which is why we’re committed to delivering dependable, high-quality solutions every time. Thanks again for your kind words and for being such a valued part of the Citadel family! Shane Johnson & the Citadel Roofing Team

John quoted us $750 to install two metal bathroom vents on the roof at approximately 22 ft high. After looking it up, the vents themselves cost about $50 each, so the majority of the cost was for labor. A foreman completed the installation and also did a quick roof inspection (which was included with the vent installation). The work was finished in under an hour, which was efficient . Especially considering it was done on a rainy day. While I do feel for the person working in those conditions, the job was completed as promised. The inspection was documented with photos provided afterward, which I appreciated. I did raise a separate concern about a known leak on the shed roof and mentioned this to both John and the foreman. Unfortunately, the foreman was unable to identify it, likely because the inspection photos were taken from ground level. If I hadn’t already been aware of the issue, this leak could have been easily missed and potentially caused more damage over time. It’s still too early for me to comment on the long-term quality of the vent installation. However, I did notice that leftover cut roofing and plywood pieces, with nails still attached, were left in the attic. This could be a safety concern for anyone working in the attic later on. Overall, the job was completed efficiently, but due to the missed leak and the cleanup issue, I’m giving a 4 star rating.

We used Citadel Roofing in the Summer of 2025 for a commercial flat roof project. We were super happy with the professionalism of the staff that we dealt with. And the quality of their workmanship. Any issues we had were dealt with in a timely manner. They worked well with the other trades we had in at the same time. I would recommend them to others.

Very efficient foreman,Jake-I heard dripping sounds in my bedroom-called John and he sent Jake out first thing the next morning-Jake found a cracked box vent on our very steep roof and replaced it in 30 minutes—it was pouring so hard while he worked-very impressed with his skills—only downside is that they are very expensive but their work is top notch-should I say Jake’s work is impressive-I have called them out to fix a few of my roofing issues.

Wow! So impressed with this entire Amazing Citadel & Waterproofing Team! From the the office to the roofing crew ! 🤩🤩. My hubby and I came home to a leaking roof in the dining room. Of course , this was on the weekend so we navigated the leak as best as we could. Monday am we had Justin a PM pop by to repair the roof. The following week the materials were delivered and Citadel crew began to re-shingled the entire roof. We lucked out with the dry weather and by the end of the day this entire crew not only gave us a 25 year warranty roof but also ensured we had the ice and water shield as well that so that would not be an issue anymore. 👏🏼 So very thankful to John our Amazing Project Manager and the entire Citadel Roofing & Waterproofing Fantastic Team. ! 😀
