  I am retracting this review as this company could not fix the roof leak that happened while roof was under warranty. His crew came out twice but could not fix the leak. Hired another contractor that came out and fixed my issue.

  I am sorry you got your feelings hurt and felt the need to write a one star review. It is also interesting that you did not acknowledge I was not given an opportunity to schedule a time to meet or even request the estimates by e-mail before selecting a vendor. I guess you are so self centered you don't appreciate the time and effort that goes into producing the estimates. I stand by my response and the hundreds of recommendations supporting Monarch Roofing.

  Totally unresponsive. Would highly recommend someone else if you actually want to get anything done. RESPONSE TO BELOW: I called twice, one voicemail, once I actually talked to a person, was told to text the number my address, texted it, no response, called again, voicemail full, texted again, no response, called again, voicemail, no response, gave up, talked to someone else. Yes, I understand roofers are in high demand, but simply saying "we're full up right now, let me recommend someone else," would have been more professional and appreciated.

  They refused service because i’m “out of service area” when I live in the middle of Houston. Specifically fifth ward, should I mention. No other reason for rejection noted in the unprofessional email. Interesting!

  This company replaced our roof 4 years ago now. We discovered multiple leaks and damage due to poor and improper installation, and now almost 5 weeks into trying to reach the owner for resolution under our contract and warranty. We have had the foreman out confirming the error of installation, work that should have been completed but was not and the damage it is causing. Also the owner is aware of many roofs just like mine in this same condition. The owner however is only wanting to fix 3 active leaks only. Please do not fall for this owner or his warranty because he does not stand up to his word!

  We had similar experiences as the other reviews with one star. Shane is rude and irrational. He was never on the job site. He subbed out the work and did not supervise at any time. He is not a roofer, he is a broker; which brings on many communication problems. We still have a leak. No amount of reasonable or calm discussion is possible with this person; he rants and raves. Ultimately he called me a string of highly objectionable expletives. Very unprofessional. I would never recommend this company.

  Just got off the phone with Monarch... what a disappointment. Like most individuals, we shop around for quotes in order to get a baseline on pricing. I was told by the foreman, they normally bring a service crew with them upon inspection and complete the work in a "same day sort of service fashion". This is completely fine, provided I've settled on this contractor for services. However, when I explained to the gentleman he was more than welcome to bring his crew along, but I still intended on getting quotes from other companies, they were unwilling to show up unless the work was guaranteed to them. It seems unreasonable to commit to any contractor sight unseen, price unknown. That doesn't make good financial sense.

  I called the owner to get a quote on repair work. The website clearly mentions free estimates. But when I called for that free estimate, for work that was I ready to pay for, the owner refused. He offered no further help. Business must be good if you can treat customers so poorly.

As discussed, we would be out of town and not available during your option period to inspect the property and provide an estimate.   After a recent storm, we needed a full roof replacement and chose this company based on a recommendation. They inspected everything thoroughly and helped us understand what needed to be done without rushing the process. The installation took about three days, and the crew stayed organized and respectful of our property. Compared to our previous roof, this one feels much more secure and looks significantly better. They also handled cleanup carefully, which we appreciated. It’s a major repair, but the overall experience felt smooth and professionally managed from start to finish.

  We hired Monarch for a full roof replacement at then end of 2024. Shane and his team were extremely professional and did a great job explaining the scope and reasons for their decisions. They also were flexible working with me to choose the right shingles, align on a date, and ensure I was happy with the end product. The roof looks fantastic. I would 100% work with Monarch Roofing again!

  Shane replaced our home and garage roof in March 2025. The service was excellent with great follow up to a dryer vent issue. That issue was quickly resolved. We would recommend Monarch roofing to anyone who is looking for a quality and a very fast installation.

  Shane and his team did a great job replacing my roof. I have a 3 story townhouse and they were very diligent about cleaning up and removing all nails and debris after the job was finished. They have replaced many roofs in my neighborhood and I relied on several neighbors' recommendations and I was very pleased.

  I worked with Shane in March 2025 to replace my roof. Shane's quote was just a tad higher than others, but he bid with higher quality materials, performed the work in the timeline I needed and had a very high-quality crew. I would recommend Monarch Roofing highly.
