Whoever's driving this truck is going to kill someone on the highway. Can't imagine there are construction emergencies that would make someone swerve across I70 quite like this one.

  • 1 out of 5JC9 months ago

If this company is as bad as their drivers, DO NOT HIRE! Tonight while driving eastbound on I76 and exiting on the fort Collins and Colorado Springs exit at approximately 7:10pm, whomever was driving a black company vehicle license plate #EEU-F25 flew across the highway cutting me off at the exit as the vehicle off roaded slammed into a hole and caught air as it flew back onto the road and could hear the truck slam the into ground. If I did not swerve and slam on my brakes, this truck would have collided with my vehicle and would have caused a rather bad accident. I'm shocked the truck didn't lose control and roll. I wouldn't trust any company who employs such reckless employees who obviously ignore the safety of others.

    Reply from the business

Thank you for letting us know about this. Safety is extremely important to us, and we take reports like this seriously. While this wasn’t related to any customer service or project we performed, we have already addressed the situation internally to ensure our drivers follow all safety expectations. We appreciate you bringing this to our attention and encourage you to reach out to us directly if you’d like to share any additional details.

They were the first company to respond to my request for roofing assistance through Anji's List yesterday. I spoke with one of their Senior Project Managers and set an appointment for an appraisal today at 1 p.m. Now, it's 3 p.m. Nobody here. Nobody called, texted, emailed about delay. Called the company and they said they didn't have my address in their records.

    Reply from the business

Hi Nanci, We didn’t confirm the appointment. It's important to clarify why we denied service for your project. Your request would compromise our commitment to upholding industry standards and our multiple certifications. You asked us to replace a skylight that needed to be replaced on a roof that was failing and we cannot and should not do that. We offer best in class materials, labor, and warranties. Our multiple certifications are on the line when we are involved in a construction project and what you wanted us to do would jeopardize our long standing qualifications. Your behavior to our front desk deserves a 0 star! We do not tolerate vulgarity or abusive language towards any member of the monarch family. It caused the owner’s daughter to cry. If this is how you're used to getting your way , then you really need a wake up call. It is not tolerated We take pride in our work and expect professionalism in all interactions. We also directed you towards another company that would look at your Skylights We stand firm in our decision, we appreciate the opportunity to address your concerns and reaffirm our dedication to excellence in our services. SCAMMERS. Their bid to put on a roof was a joke. Said my house was 56% bigger than it actually was. That is, the area was 56% above the true size. Also forgot to include an extra $20K for new wood covering to the existing house frame. A little 20K$ oops. Well done, this trap they set. Fortunately I figured it out, and would NEVER consider using them. A life lesson from them, not forgotten. Caveat Emptor.

    Reply from the business

Max, we want to take the time to respond to your comment. Monarch did provide you an estimate a little over a year ago. At the time, we wanted to make sure we had an accurate measurement of your roof and paid at our expense for an Eagle View report, an industry-standard document that provides an accurate aerial roof measurement of your home. The salesmen then created an estimate based on those measurements and included additional decking for areas that were visibly damaged due to holes and sunken section over the garage. The bid for decking or other repair work would not have gone into effect until we could verify the damage once the roof was torn off. Monarch would not be in business if we practiced shady estimating. Our estimates are honest and see fit based on the current condition of the roof. We are sorry we did not earn your business but we do not view your negative review as warrant. As the owner, I would love to talk with you personally about this matter.

I used Monarch based on a neighbor's positive experience but our 2019 roof replacement/storm damage experience with Monarch was horrible from start to, well, they never really finished so... The roof itself went up on schedule but -it failed its first inspection, -they missed an entire soffit repair leaving a huge gap for weeks, -refused to honor the scope of the work promised by the salesperson, -the roof leaked around the chimney/vents, -the subcontractor they hired to repair & refinish my deck did the worst job imaginable (semi-transparent stain instead of transparent, horrible color, overspray on the house and sliding glass door never fixed, never replaced the deck furniture despite several requests), -still finding trash and nails in my yard. I made the mistake of making final payment on promises from the owner that the problems would be fixed. John got his final check and completely ghosted me. I wouldn't work with Monarch again if they paid me.

Monarch was amazing!! We highly recommend them and had an excellent experience with them from start to finish! We called to get an estimate on a small stucco project and immediately we were treated with professionalism, and courtesy! Chris responded immediately and came out within a few days, provided a fair and detailed estimate and we felt extremely comfortable with the company. Brie was our production manager, and was so helpful with questions, and got the project timeline going and was true to her word! Brandon was our project manager and did such a wonderful job communicating with us and ran a great schedule from start to finish, and was great to work with! The craftsmanship that the crew provided was stellar! The crew worked long days and did such an amazing job, and our house looks so beautiful! We are delighted with the outcome and we will highly recommend Monarch to our family and friends, and will use them if we have future home projects!

I cannot express how fantastic it was to work with Monarch for my new roof. Joe M was my point of contact and he was one of the kindest, dedicated, and quick to action contacts I’ve ever had the pleasure of working with. His team, Bree especially, was instrumental in ensuring my homeowners policy lived up to the standards and cost of the repair. The roofing team worked in (unfortunately) brutal heat and were efficient, and respectful of our property. Communication was clear, concise and consistent. I attempted to refer a friend recently only to find that they are already contracting with Monarch. I have pitched roofs and a flat roof, and needed extra construction to bring the roof to required standards. I received hail resistant shingles (the original reason for the new roof) , as well as some pre-install bandages while waiting for the actual install. I would recommend Monarch to anyone looking for a (as much as can be expected) painless roof installation. Great company!

Thanks for the positive review Anna. We know how frustrating the insurance process can be and the whole team comes together to make it as painless as possible for you. With all our customers we do are best to provide temporary fixes till the roof can be done and in many extreme cases we will run out and tarp your roof to keep your home safe. Brie and Joe do their best to fight for coverage and get you what your owed. So that we can restore your home to the pre damaged condition.

I hired Monarch Construction for a full siding replacement on my house, which included new siding, trim, soffits, and painting. The entire experience from start to finish was top-tier. A big shoutout to Joe for his incredible customer service, deep knowledge, and flexibility throughout the project. He answered all my questions, kept communication seamless, and adapted quickly whenever adjustments were needed. I also want to recognize Jaime and his crew for their exceptional craftsmanship. They did a fabulous, high-quality job on the installation and finish work, paying close attention to every detail and leaving the property spotless. I couldn't be happier with how the house turned out and would highly recommend Monarch Construction to anyone looking for quality exterior work.

We recently hired Monarch Construction to replace some damaged siding on our house. Joe Martucci was the project manager on this job. He did a great job communicating the scope of the job, gave a fair quote and explained the time frame for the job. The siding crew did a great job replacing the damaged siding and matching the paint to blend in. Once the job was complete we noticed that there was some roof damage that occurred during the siding installation from the crew being up on a hot roof. Joe came out and assessed the situation and determined that there was damage. The day the crew worked on the siding it was extremely hot out and some shingles were damaged. Joe didn’t hesitate to own the situation and work with his crew to find a solution. A few days later he came back with a roofing crew and removed and replaced the damaged shingles at no cost. It was refreshing to work with a company like Monarch who stands behind their work. They own their mistakes and are willing to work toward a solution. I will definitely use Monarch Construction on future projects.

The whole experience went smoothly. From my project manager, Joe, who was there every step of the way and did follow up! He went above and beyond his job. Also, the in-house staff was amazing, Bree handled all the insurance issues from the start. It was amazing since it started a little rough with my insurance company. It was also smooth working with the accountant Kari who walked me through any issues. I’ve already recommended this company to several people

Noah at Monarch Roofing did an amazing job helping me work through an insurance claim for hail damage. Monarch assisted me every step of the way and I never had to lift a finger. The work was done punctually and of good quality as well.

Thanks for the good review John. The team at Monarch really goes the extra mile to help you through the insurance process. We understand how difficult and tricky this can be for home owners. Thats where an experienced team of Project Managers like Noah and our Insurance team on the back end really make the difference.

About 3 weeks past I found out I had to have a section of siding replaced. The siding was 21 year old construction grade, and not readily available. Joe Martucci was assigned as Monarch’s project lead and doggedly searched for a way to identify the construction grade siding that needed to be completed in under 3 weeks so as to not disrupt the closing date for our sale. Joe came through with flying colors. He found the siding and was able to procure enough for the job. Jaime and his helper were assigned the task of installing the siding. They did a wonderful job of making it appear as if it was the original siding. We will certainly call upon Joe, and Monarch, in the future!

Several friends of ours highly recommended Cameron Tiburcio and Monarch Construction & Roofing.....they did not steer us wrong. The project we needed to have done was the exterior of the house to be painted. From the very beginning to the final product they exceeded our expectations. They go above and beyond. It is obvious their aim is that the customer is completely satisfied with the work they have done. Cameron has this work ethic and you can trust him wholeheartedly with whatever project you may have. He is very easy to speak with, and very personable. Cameron, thank you.

Monarch Construction & Roofing did an outstanding job repairing our home after a devastating hailstorm. Brandon and his team were professional, reliable, and incredibly attentive to every detail. What impressed me most was how carefully they protected our home throughout the entire process. Communication was excellent, they showed up when they said they would, and the quality of the work on both our windows and stucco was exceptional. Hail damage is stressful enough, and the repair process can often make it even worse. Brandon and his team made everything as smooth and stress-free as possible. I highly recommend Monarch Construction & Roofing and cannot say enough good things about their workmanship, professionalism, and customer service.

Cameron did a phenomenal job managing our project from start to finish. He was extremely responsive and knowledgeable about all of the roofing products and made selecting the right product for our house and scheduling the work an easy decision. I was out of town the day they installed the new roof and Cameron was sending drone photos of the work in progress throughout the day, which gave me peace of mind. We had a brand new roof in under 12 hours. Great job Cameron and team!

We just got a new roof installed and they were fantastic! They rescheduled because there was a hail storm expected and they didn’t want to give us a new roof that would just be destroyed by hail the next day. We worked with Cameron and he kept us updated with pictures and details every step of the way.

Brandon Tomasso and Chris Ball at Monarch Construction were great to work with. They communicated well, organized the workflow with precision, and consulted with the homeowner at a professional level. Their on-site crews did excellent work installing new firewise soffits/vents and painting the entire stucco house. They were thorough and paid attention to the details, which transformed the exterior of the house beautifully! I highly recommend Monarch.
